The overall RMB time (usually) is set in 2020...
So you better establish what happened ever since the 1470s to this day, as it will always be assumed that normal history still happened as it did (including WW1, WW2, etc..).
Hence, a well established history can get you around any complaints.

I've never not been active. I just abandoned the RMB. See, I do not role play, not like this, not like you guys do.

I'm not a fan of text RPing - I respect it a lot actually, cuz it is a real piece of work and effort, but I do not enjoy it - and so I abandoned the RMB when it became a mostly RPing place. You could potentially notice that my interjections in it are rarely around your ongoing RP :)

Now, with that said, you also need to know that activity in NationStates is super variable. There is people in this game who has, I dunno, 0 post in an RMB... Have never RPed... Probably don't even answer issues... but with 10000 posts in the General Forum! Or people who has written 4, 5 WA proposals but never talks to anyone outside of the WA forums... etc.

Is one of the most amazing things about NS: it has something for everyone :)
