Spuds Prepare for War

Potato General's log - February 11th 2023

Our spuds have been preparing day and night ever since the announcement of the forthcoming nuclear apocalypse. All of our members are focused on building their production capacity and hardening their hearts and minds for the forthcoming war. Our faction is certain to prevail given its storied history, possessing determination and creativity like no other to survive dark times, protected by strong shield walls, and and armed with radioactive spud guns.

We have also been hard at work expanding our ranks. Conversations with potential allies and partners have continued, and we've been successful in adding Declansburg, The Kodiak Republic, The North Pacific, and The Order of the Grey Wardens to our ranks. Given the diversity, size, and depth of talent in these regions, I am confident that adding them to our roster will produce great gains.

This will be my four nuclear catastrophe with the Potato Alliance, my third in Command. Our forces have only become more streamlined and aggressive in that time, armed with state of the art technology. But there is one thing that has always been core to what it means to be a spud, and that is the spirit of the potato. Potato General A Leaf on the Wind has been at work thinking about how to bring our spuds closer together, to sing out and let our voices rise in unison to proclaim the glory of the Potato. I bring this message from Potato General Sarah, explaining how we will select our anthems for this nuclear apocalypse:

With both our spirit and our newly expanded membership, I have the greatest of confidence in our ability to prevail in the upcoming nuclear apocalypse. We will not cease in our defense of our spudlands, nor will we fail in our attacks on our foes. The potato will attain victory.
