Life is older, older than the trees…
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze.

Also I would like to point out something:
Being homophobic means, ‘having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against gay people.’ And you said that why hold on into a belief that hurts people.
So by that logic, simply disliking a gay person is hurting them… doesn’t make much sense

Why dislike them, or have a prejudice against them? It stems from somewhere.

And hate, or dislike carries different connotations depending on who it is directed at. Hate, or dislike, in some instances, is bad, but they may have a different "weight", or feeling. Hatred, or discontent, of marginalized, minority, often discriminated groups is going to have a harder impact than a similar hatred on the opposite of that. Yes, it may change from person to person, but as a whole, it's different.

Alright, it's Vrigny quiz time!

Thereʻs a difference between being Christian, being non-Christian, and being anti-Christian. Additionally, Christians are not a minority in the US.

No oneʻs telling you to be LGBT, but by taking a specifically anti-LGBT stance youʻve communicated a that, not only are you not LGBT, but that you also support the disenfranchisement of this social and institutional minority.

And there is not a lot of LGBTQIA+ people in the world, it's growing, but it still is seen as a disgusting minority by some
