Hello, sir. :) I told Dilber I would drop by! It's been a minute.

If you don't want more taxes, then don't answer issue options that increase them. But nothing really happens when you reach 100% taxes other than your average disposable income going down to 0 - in fact, some nations have a score of more than 100 on the taxation stat.

FYI
Sam Panopoulos claimed that he created the first Hawaiian pizza at the Satellite Restaurant in Chatham, Ontario, Canada in 1962. Inspired in part by his experience preparing Chinese dishes which commonly mix sweet and savoury flavours, Panopoulos experimented with adding pineapple, ham, bacon and other toppings.

Thank you 😊.

TODAY IN THE WEST

Today's a PSA day of sorts.

First, we attend to the immutable truth of NS: All your chocolate belong to Darkesia. Today is Bittersweet Chocolate Day, so kindly form a queue to leave your offerings at Dark's altar. Those who have been delinquent are expected to give 10% more.

Second, it's Sunday Supper Day! Whether you live alone or with others, treat yo'self to a tasty supper!

Which leads to a Question of the Now: what are your tips for making simple meals special?

For example, growing up if I was on my own for dinner, the almighty packaged ramen became an opportunity for creativity. I discovered that if I add an egg (hard boiled, soft boiled, fried) and some sriracha, it would taste much different. With pasta and canned sauce, a small slice of butter changes the complexion. With Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, a little extra butter and separate cheese with some tabasco = yum!

Now your turn!

The best kind of supper is one that I don't have to cook. But when in doubt, add cheese.

Letting my wife cook. Although I’m pretty handy in the kitchen, it belongs to Mrs BBD - I’m not allowed in there.

Top Ramen + sweet chili sauce + peanut butter(creamy or chunky) = yum & filling!

I would also add either frozen spinach or kale or sometimes a handful of frozen veggie mix(carrots/peas/sting beans).

1 tablespoon = creamy sauce/broth)
2 tablespoons = thick sauce

The peanut butter satiates the protein 'hunger'.

:)

This is brilliant! I will try it!

As someone with Italian ancestry (many Italians immigrated to southern Brazil in the 19th century), I agree that pineapple on pizza is terrible.

FireFox has a native 'master password' option, maybe use that?

As the main cook of the household, I find that the key to making simple meals special, is to find the food that you or your family enjoy the most and try to perfect it. Are your spices optimal? Are you using the best ingredients? Have you tried it with substitutions? Have you found a way of presenting it that you'd be proud enough to share with others?

I love cooking - for me, it's a joy to feed others, and to feed myself. A hearty meal for weary travellers coming out of the cold, a refreshing snack on a hot day, a special and fragrant roast dinner or thick vegetable soup that's been slow cooking all day. It sounds silly, but you make simple meals special by making them with love, with happiness. You can increase your happiness by making the kitchen a good place to work in, by having tools that you like using, by having cutlery and crockery that pleases your soul to serve food upon.

Cook to the best of your ability, and like everything else in life, try to improve each time. Seek feedback from others, give yourself honest critiques, and come up with a plan to do it as good as (or better) next time around.

Have you ever cooked something that turned out so good that it moved you to tears? That's one of my favorite experiences.
