The Fiefdom of Rond is a large, socially progressive nation, notable for its absence of drug laws, complete absence of social welfare, and spontaneously combusting cars. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic, devout population of 90 million Rondians live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

The minute, liberal, pro-business, outspoken government, or what there is of one, is effectively ruled by the Department of Spirituality, although Healthcare and Defense are also considered important, while Welfare and Social Policy aren't funded at all. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 5.0%.

The strong Rondian economy, worth 4.98 trillion florins a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Furniture Restoration industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Uranium Mining, and Beef-Based Agriculture. Average income is 55,281 florins, but there is a vast disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 360,464 per year while the poor average 3,355, a ratio of 107 to 1.

The tenet of free speech is held dear, books are considered luxuries only available to the incredibly wealthy, organ donation is compulsory, and the nation is known abroad for fast food and nothing else. Crime is a serious problem, probably because of the absence of a police force. Rond's national animal is the elephant.

Rond is ranked 260,416th in the world and 42nd in Da People Realm for Most Corrupt Governments, with 0.73 kickbacks per hour.
