• The Wardens opened new relations with the The East Pacific after mutual agreement and several past cultural events hosted together. Fresh relations were also opened withMerciam as a friendly exploration of mutual cultural interests

• Warden Varax was promoted once again to the rank of Warden-Constable after her dedication to developing The Order's internal affairs. Warden Thedaria joined Command upon their promotion to Warden-Lieutenant after serving in military affairs and cultural development

• The Order and 10000 Islands celebrated the signing of The Order - Island Accords, a new mutual defense treaty between our two regions after many years of friendship

• TGW survived N-Day's radioactive fallout split in a friendly competition between Potato Alliance and Horsemen of the Apocalypse with spuds and warheads flying, ending in a win for Horsemen and a vengeful resurgence from Potato Alliance setting the stage for next N-Day

Ducky is a newer Warden, having joined the Order's military forces during the sieges of EmbassyRegionia in April earlier this year. They quickl became an active part of the community, known for their enthusiastic and wholesome personality. Impressively, Ducky is one of a few Wardens who conduct all of their R/D activity from a mobile device, still remaining dedicated as any other member to the cause. This month we'll be interviewing them to discuss their time starting out on NationStates and in the Order, we hope you enjoy the interview!

Ducky: Sure. I'm Ducky, currently a warden! I joined NationStates at February this year!

Quebecshire: Time flies, it feels like that was more recent. Did you come to TGW right away?

Ducky: I spent a few days figuring how the game works, then finally read the telegrams. I joined TGW fairly quickly, around the start of March 2022.

Quebecshire: Ah, that makes sense. I remember you jumping into things pretty quickly, I think by helping us with the EmbassyRegonia siege early on, if that sounds right?

Ducky: Yep, I applied for Guardian when I joined, but I quickly applied for Warden as well when I found out you don't need to update daily. For the EmbassyRegonia siege, I didn't really know what I was doing and just went along with it :P

Quebecshire: That's the way to do it, really. A lot of people I've recruited have started as liberation conscripts and then decided they find it fun. So clearly you've stuck around since, what do you find most enjoyable about the Warden community?

Ducky: For me, it's the community itself :D when I first joined (and now too) I didn't know anything about NS, but the community was really accepting of me and guided me through everything! It's very rare for me to be noticed or valued, so I'm really happy about it!

Quebecshire: Yeah, TGW really has a nice community to be around, that's a large part of why I'm here too. Do you have any goals in the Order that you're looking to accomplish, or are you just here to chill?

Ducky: Kinda in between, I do want to contribute to the Order and basically get numbers and records xD I don't really care about promotions or titles, so I'm pretty chill too, just trying my best whilst not being competitive.

Quebecshire: That makes sense. TGW is interesting to me in that the internal environment is very chill and non-dramatic, despite our external bombasticness as NationStates' largest military.

Ducky: I agree. I can be really competitive and strive to be the best at everything or I can make jokes and chill, such a wide variety of personalities :)

Quebecshire: For sure. Speaking of striving to be the best at things, is there any particular military activity/operation type you enjoy the most?

Ducky: Since I do all my updates on mobile, I like those without very tight time frames, especially detags and liberations/sieges (although for libs I have to endorse 100 nations on mobile which is exhausting), but I cannot be fast enough for chasing though.

Quebecshire: That's understandable! I don't enjoy mobile chasing very much either. Better liberation speed is certainly an admirable goal, though!

Ducky: Agreed, and I will work on improving my speed!

Quebecshire: I look forward to seeing how that goes for you 😄 Before we wrap this up, is there anything else you want to add for us?

Ducky: I'm honored to be a part of the Order, and I will do my absolute best to contribute, though life gets in the way sometimes :p
