The second guard hands Ganixa the number for the latin hotline. The second guard speeks up "I do not know if this will work, the only number I could find was the information hotline." as they go back to the look out.
While the prisoners are lead into the temporary hall, the procession is met with the glare of hundreds of bishops glaring at the prisoners they have in tow. Horaldi stands up on the little fruit box they are using for a speech stand and begins to talk to the Council, "Brothers and sisters of the Council, I have brought before you the leaders of the heretics we once considered a political party. They have committed the gravest of sins only next to the heretical children who succeeded our Savior Gandhi the XI: the destruction of Gandhistantinople, the destruction and pillaging of pious villages and churches as well as the death of many loyal citizens to our great Theocratic Republic. They now await your sentence."
The Council stood quiet while whispering amongst themselves, but the silence was broken by an outburst from the entranceway, a group of Gandhistani medical workers burst in carrying a covered body and declare, "The foriegn field medics couldn't do anything for our glorious savior, he has passed."
After that announcement, the entire hall went silent. After a couple of minutes of waiting, the head of the liberal coalition of parties stands up, "I believe, that within all holy rights and the word of the Almighty. That these men who have committed heresy against our nation, our people and our War God will be punished by ritual sacrifice of the highest order." The bishop pauses a few seconds before continuing, "But we will not hold the execution immediately for our glorious Savior Gandhi the XI has passed. The Almighty has deemed now the time for his brief lapse back upon the land of the living to be over. In this moment of grieving, we will wait to hold the execution until Ganixa returns home for her to be anointed as Savior and for the funeral of Gandhi the XI to be over. This session of the Council is dismissed."
The Council slowly exits the hall, while they leave one of the prisoners, the sniper who shot Gandhi the XI, spit on Horaldi's shoe and screams, "This is what you blasted heretics deserve, your leader of your reformation is dead, what is it possibly that you can do no-"
The sniper was cut off by the sounds of gunfire ringing out, her body drops dead to the ground and Horaldi snarls at her, "These dang foreigners, couldn't save our glorious leader... if only we were never involved..."
Ganixa dials the number, "Let's see if this works, hello. This is Ganixa, diplomat of Greater Gandhistan, requesting communications with the extra-union affairs minister."
In latin a robotic menu system comes up. ending the list with "Si vos would amo ut loqui ad torcular nulla operator (If you would like to speak to an operator press zero)"
"Oh dear, one of these," Ganixa reluctantly presses zero.
a man picks up the phone on the other end and in latin. "Salve, you have called the Extra-Union Affairs Ministry of the Holy Kingdom of the Papal States I am Teo Corti how may I help you today?"
We send our dearest condolences to West Gandhistan in this time of mourning.
Ganixa sighs, "Finally, well I am Ganixa, diplomat of Gandhistan, and I am currently in your nation for a layover to Byzantium. I am here to request communications with the extra union affairs minister, is this him?"
"No, and if you are trying to talk to the head of foreign affairs for the nation you have called the wrong office. We are for the Provence's limited relations with other Nations and other entities outside of the Nation of The Riskivilization Union. I can give you the Department of Foreign Affairs number if you wish. That is where I would recommend any diplomat call." He says while the phone picks up the clacking of the keyboard.
"Yes, I want to interact with this province specifically, I want to communicate this province's representative for this province's international relations. I dont want the whole RU."
"Alright mam this is the information hotline, but I can try to help you." he says you hear more keys clacking in the background "Alright, lets see here, what nation are you calling from? lets see if you are on the express list." he says waiting. "Also if you know your diplomatic ID code that would also help mam."
"Currently I am in one of your airports, I do not have any current diplomatic ID despite my stay in Vassa."
"No where are you a diplomat from, I need to see if I need to transfer your call to the Annex or if you are on the express list mam." he says looking at the short express list. "If not we need to run through some other procedures that might take some more time."

We congratulate the government in the west of Gandhistan for defeating these Fanatics. Terrorism and religious extremism has no place in civilised society, and we send our condolences to the family of Gandhi XI following his tragic assassination. We must ask if the government in the west needs any more aid to civilians, or even assistance in the rebuilding from this horrible and destructive civil war.
"Ah shoot, I'm a diplomat from the Theocratic Republic of Greater Gandhistan," she leans over to her guard, "How much longer till the flight to the Byzantines?"
The Council sends this missive to the GDR:
Thanks for all of your well wishes and despite our tense relations in the past, that you are willing to look over them as we are. We know Savior Gandhi planned for you to aid us in these trying times and we are willing to ask for more aid from your nation. Specifically, your border with us is close to the city of Jorinae which is where a bulk of the fighting took place. We will graciously accept any aid you can give to the city.
As for your condolences to Gandhi the XI's family, we will pass the message on to Ganixa. She is currently in route from Vassa to return home for her coronation as the new Savior of Greater Gandhistan.
There is clacking on the other end of the phone when Teo Corti comes back on the line "Mam you are not on the express list, I will put you on hold for a little while while I start going through the process if that is alright." in latin
The first guard just points out to the window where the plain is pulling into the terminal and the sky bridge is extending "I would say about 10 to 15 minutes mam, though it depends on the passengers who where on the plain before ."
She responds to the phone call, "Yes get me into the system please, but I d9nt believe I can stay on the phone much longer, my flight is about to leave."
She covers the speaker and address the guard, "Good, let's go get in line then."
as you get put on hold the Marcia trionfale gets played as your hold music.
The intercom opens and calls out in a few languages "Boarding for the Flight to Constantinople is boarding." as the guard gestures to the filling line.
Ganixa hangs up the phone and boards the plane not before turning around to the guard, "Thank you for today."
The Plane taxis to the runway as the safety demonstrations take place and a few tens of minutes later the plane lands at Basil II Spaceport in Constantinople.
Ganixa walks out of the airport and looks for transportation back to her homeland.
A shiny new Constantine C-1025 awaits her on the runway.
