How can a state that large have about (or less) 20 million troops? How is he not in debt? I thought you only had 1 million, and here is this dude coming in with 12 mil, for his army alone!

He cannot. He has a population less then 20 million. His army's cap is around the area of 600,000.

The spears bounce harmlessly off the side of the armored Fangs. They continue to fire their heavy guns while the canon balls only make dents in the armor.

But what about the ones before they started using magic. I shot at you with 4 82mm revolver cannons and 8 30mm autocannons for three turns. And your ships are primitive and thus weak. So what did that do? And all the guns are aimed at the hulls of the ships.
