Quite possibly, one of the most far-right politicians in Lanorth, Thomas 'Tommy' Chambers, burst in through the doors of the office of the Leader of Lanorth, John Schofield. Schofield looked up from his desk, which he was looking at and had been looking at for the past few minutes. Schofield, minutes before, received the news of the death of his father, Lyle Schofield, who was a Liberal politician. Schofield and his father shared different political opinions though shared a strong father-son bond. Lyle was 63 and had died of his Parkinson's disease.

"What do you want, Chambers?" Said Schofield, a hint of sadness in his voice.

"I know about your Lung Disease, Schofield. I know all about it. Your smoking, when you were a teenager, I know all about it." Said Chambers, smiling. Schofield stood up and walked to the front of his desk as Chambers approached him. They then stood inches apart from each other, staring at each-other's eyes.

"What are you on about?" Said Schofield, raising his voice significantly.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about!" Bellowed Chambers. "You are sick and you are ill! Stop denying it! You know it is true! Just admit it. You are destroying our culture and the people are losing their trust in you. Resign!"

"No! I shall not! The people are happy with these changes! They hate people like you, they do not like Fascists, you are living in a fantasy that I don't want to be a part of!" Bellowed Schofield, shoving Chambers back. Chambers growled.

"Oh, you're gonna get it now!" Bellowed Chambers, running at Schofield. Chambers ran at Schofield and went to punch him in the chest, but Schofield blocked it and uppercutted Chambers in the gut. The brawl was heard by Schofield's personal bodyguards, who smashed their way into the room with their pistols drawn. Schofield shoved Chambers back and the two bodyguards who smashed their way into the room first opened fire. Four shots, two from each pistol, lodged themselves into Chambers' chest. Chambers fell to the ground and lay motionless.

Two more bodyguards rushed their way into the office and escorted Schofield out, not exchanging any words. Schofield recalled his childhood. His parents moved to the city of Augustus when Schofield was a kid. They settled in the rough side of the city, where gang wars and drug lords were common. Schofield befriended the wrong people who knew the wrong people. Schofield started smoking quite a bit at the age of 12 and it is rumoured he took drugs at the same age. Schofield moved out of the city when he married at the age of 24, but continued smoking regularly. At the age of 33, he was diagnosed with lung cancer, which hardly ever happens and is extremely rare, considering he is under 45. He stopped smoking and was given treatment for his lung cancer. It got better though he never fully recovered. Every now and again he would have a relapse. Schofield was in one of those relapse stages. He always refused to see a doctor, which was idiotic, though he could not be forced to.
