Just in, from the Office of the President.

300,000 Shinnokawan troops are being shipped out to Kianhua tomorrow morning, October 24, 2061. This is in response to the heightened uncertainty with regards to the security of Northern Tet, a region of Kianhua that has been detached after the sudden and violent secession of [ntion]Kianistan[/nation] from the United Federation of Kianhua. The bill that allowed such action was passed last October 16 and signed by the President yesterday. Justification behind this as highlighted by the Assemblymen and women were that the Kurikian Federation is "suspiciously increasing their influence among the Kianese in Kianistan" and is "using Kianistan as a stairstep towards domination of Orientalis." One assemblyman states that "these suspicions aren't 100% confirmed, but that's not to say we should let our guard down. We're taking the logical stance as we always do and should do."

While taking a bold stance, the Shinnokawan gov't is however declaring support for a peaceful solution and war to be averted. The President Kuang of Kianhua said this morning that "The United Kianese Federation will do everything we can to prevent such conflict, but will also do everything to liberate our enslaved Kianese brethren."
