That's an obvious lie. You wouldn't need to notify your government that talks aren't going well using a suspicious briefcase if you had these handy dandy machines called cell phones. Hand it over to Security or get the hell out of my office.

Two Raiders escort the diplomat and two of his guards into Alderman's office. The last is told to wait outside with the PPV that brought them here.

Diego Manzanedo is on the ground, bleeding, and sword dropped. His reaction was unexpected when Hajira gave him mercy and refusing to finish him off, it was not part of his plan. He was going to die anyways trying what he wanted or had to do. His vision is being a bit blurry.

[I... I did not expect this, I thought this was a duel to the death, not a puny mercy giving street fight...]

He looks at his bleeding chest, he's losing cells required for a body to function, Manzanedo has thought of something...

[Well, if this duel was meant to be for death... well I'll do it, I really hope I wake up in Heaven to meet our lord and savior, God. Fubuki is now yours, Hajira.]

Instead of standing up and accepting defeat to continue living, he accepts defeat by dying of blood loss and some cut bones. He closes his eyes with an even more blurry vision, he stops feeling the rest of his body, while his consciousness continues functioning, but slowly fading away. He dies, with his body still bleeding for a short while, and then stopping. His blood flows around.

BREAKING NEWS!

Strikes Ravage the Empire

Today, starting at 01:00 PM, a massive series of strikes and protests broke out in many of the Empire's largest cities.

According to the protestors, the majority of them believe the Iron Kingdom is becoming an overly oppressive regime, citing the changes in police numbers and increase in censorship that has come with the rise of the Kingdom. Many other protests revolve around the "Population Expansion Endeavor Program", more commonly known as Birth Farms, which many cite as not only a gross violation of women's rights, but as a corrupt way to reward those loyal to the crown, and create soldiers for the purpose of being thrown into the "meat grinder" during wartime.

A less common, but abundant complaint has also stem from several who support Rumstern or even the ideas of the late Valik Arun. At the moment, the Kaiserin is yet to respond to the protesters, however military and police numbers on the highways of the Empire and within the streets of the cities, have swelled to enormous numbers.

In light of the recent protests in Kampf, many of the unification protests in Arklen suddenly stop, and many of the people involved go on with their business as if they didn’t happen in the first place.

Where is you on the map?

With the Ehrenkanzler at home back in Ruhmstadt, the order for the reorganization of Leopoldsland is given, creating a new Reichskommissariat. The new regime in Leopoldsland is tied far more closely to the Fatherland and is more reliant, as well as its military turning from a security force to a Heer commanded Garrison.

The sennheiser union

Greetings, leaders of Valsora!

The Sennheiser Union is inviting you to 'A Week of Thanks,' a seven day long Thanksgiving celebration hosted by none other than the Premier of Vastar, Premier Kryoximillian III. He would be much delighted to hear your attendance!

The Thanksgiving celebration shall be held in the Vlascar Palace in the Vastar Federation. There will be plenty of activities to treat yourself to over the week and weekend, ending with a large Thanksgiving feast.

We hope to see you at the dinner table!

In Soliditary,
Office of the Premier
Vastar Federation
Sennheiser Union

Please be advised, this telegram is for headcount purposes at the moment. A second telegram will be sent out to those who will attend.

[MXXIII]

Kryoximillian studied the paper with a mix of a carefree and worried additude. He'd been planning this celebration since his inauguration to become the Royal Premier of Vastar. His Royal Advisor, Fuhrguss, stood in front of his Premier. Fuhrguss was a man in his late forties and spoke in a Gorbastani accent. Kryoximillian looked up at Fuhrguss with an impressed expression on his face. "Fuhrguss," he called. "This telegram is perfect." He got out of the black office chair and stepped out from behind his polished oak wood desk. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

Fuhrguss smiled warmly, keeping his hands behind his back. "I appreciate your praises, sir. But all the work was done by the local telegrams office. I only oversaw their labor." Kryoximillian stuck out his hand, which Fuhrguss complied to shake. The Premier went back to the telegram and read over it again. "Do we have an appropriate forecast on who will be attending?"

Fuhrguss withdrew his hand and put it behind his back again. "We were expecting the San Sierran president and Empress Hajira of Charitia to attend, however that looks uncertain."

Kryoximillian looked around his office at the sound of that. The room was large, with a big floor-to-roof window covering the entirety of the wall behind his desk. The walls to his left and right bestowed wall mounted shelves which displayed family pictures, which were freshly dusted this morning. There was a small potted plant on his large desk, freshly trimmed and watered this morning, too. Next to it was a framed picture of him and his only child, Princess Siiri, age twelve.

Kryoximillian picked up the picture frame and stared at it for a bit. He looked back at Fuhrguss. "I wonder how Siiri will react to this. She hates large crowds, especially at a formal gathering."

"Don't put your mind to it, Titus." Fuhrguss said in a comforting voice. "Siiri will be alright. She still has plenty of time to adjust to this type of lifestyle."

Kryoximillian nodded and set the picture frame down gently on his desk. He then handed the telegram back. "Make sure to make plenty of copies. I'll let you oversee the work again if you like."

Fuhrguss gripped the paper from Kryoximillian's hand, nodded, and left out of the office.
