As General Ziolkowski and the army passed the town, they could see the very recent aftermath of a fire that seemed to have destroyed 3 to 4 houses, leaving only charred remains.
Finally, 120,000 Spartican infantrymen were within sight of the city. Even better, two letters were received, from Commander Alexander and Commander Agariste. The 3rd and 4th Spartican Cavalry Regiments have reached their positions in preparation to flank the city.
