Gravekeeper enters the room where the rest of the Deadman Unit is seated waiting for the brief.

"Alright Gentlemen, as you know, we're going to Western afrika, we'll be training rebels in guerrilla warfare and we'll fight alongside our new comrades, we're going to basically train their special forces. We'll be dropped into the jungle near the region of Etikun, we'll set up base camp there and contact the Rebels, we'll hand over the weapons, blueprints and the weapons parts that are being sent with us." Gravekeeper said as he started the briefing.

"How will we transport 500 Sub-guns and parts to make more?" Phantom asked.

"The current plan is to drop in, set up camp and then call in for the guns, anyway the plan for infiltration is that the Navy and the Naval Air Fleet will strike SAM and Radars sites and other targets of importance to cause as much chaos as possible, we'll fly from Queen Anya, in a Mil Mi-8 Hip Helicopter with 2 Mi-24 Hind attack helicopters and a 2nd Mi-8 for support. We'll be using the new guns that were recently adopted and a new .35 Russoslav cartridge, the new brush cartridge is slower and the bullet is more rounded to cut through the brush better. We'll also use new snake boots that prevent snake bites, the last thing we need is losing a man because he stepped on a snake." Gravekeeper added.

"We'll still have anti-venom right?" Ghost asked.

"Of Course, the secondary mission is to test these new items the military adopted, So, we'll have the MV-19, P-19, and BP-19, nothing better to test firearms then going through a real-world scenario, Alright, we'll go over the training tomorrow, we have 2 weeks, so we better be ready" Gravekeeper answered.

Voice of the Levantines (Newspaper)
Nazir Ammad Sues Jerusalem

Nazir Ammad, arrested with his partner, Baahir Amara, about a month ago for homosexual activities, has sued the city of Jerusalem. He claims that the continued illegality of homosexuality in the Kingdom is antithetical to its democratic and progressive culture. In an interview with The Voice, Mr. Ammad claimed that the law "is an outdated, inhumane law based on small-minded fundamentalist ideals that have no place in legislating Levantine policies. I love my country and its people, but I implore them to bring us into the modern era, where marriage and love are not restricted by bigoted mentalities."

The city of Jerusalem has yet to respond for comment, though Princess Rania, currently studying abroad at Princeton University in Imperial Eagle, has expressed her support for Mr. Ammad and Mr. Amara. No other members of the Royal Family have offered any comment at this time.

Ministry of Energy
Royal Levantine Space Administration

His Majesty, the King, has officially granted the authorization for the Minister of Energy, Taqi Sadiq, to create a new sub-department, the Royal Levantine Space Administration. The RLSA's mission will be to oversee all Levantine ambitions in space, develop launch systems, and eventually, begin launching probes and even humans into space, independently.

Minister Sadiq has appointed Dr. Rasheem al-Qadir, an astrophysics professor, and formerly the head of the Mahid Institute of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Jerusalem, as the RLSA's first director. The RLSA's core employees will be drawn from the military space agencies, as well as civilian applicants and employees.

The RLSA has been given an 800 acre plot east of Damascus to construct the Zaaid Farrah Space Center, named after RLAF Colonel Zaaid Farrah, a former test pilot who lobbied for the creation of the RLSA until his death following an aerial accident. The project is estimated to cost $150 million dinars in construction, and to be open within the next two years, provided there are no major set backs.

We will lead the Levantine peoples into a new era, beyond the bounds of our Mother Earth.

Resolution #2/2019

Concerning the situation in the WC Member State of Western afrika

Reaffirming the objective of the World Congress to achieve international geopolitical security.

Desiring to contribute to the restoration and continued maintenance of Peace in West Africa and the African continent, to the promotion of national reconciliation and to the protection of human rights.

The World Congress General Assembly resolves the following:

- Calls upon the current Administration of West Africa to compromise and engage in peaceful, comprehensive and reconciliatory dialogue with the conflicting civilian parties to avoid an escalation of violent acts.

- Appeals to all Member States to refrain from supporting either party, with the purpose of avoiding a further destabilization of the situation in West Africa and an escalation of violent acts.

- Decides that the World Congress shall designate a Special Representative, which will oversee the rounds of dialogue between the parties, to ensure a successful conclusion.

- Decides that it is vital that the situation is constantly supervised by the World Congress General Assembly, until a conclusion that benefits all parties involved is reached. Your Excellency, dear Minister,

The Administration of Orange-bourgogne understands that the Furstian government seeks to close off the borders they share with Western afrika, and, may I add, with good reason. However, the closure of this border may also affect Orange-Bourgognians, who have no Embassy to help them in Western afrika, and therefore depend on this diplomatic Mission in the Socialist Republic.

As the Administration of Orange-bourgogne seeks to look after the interests of our citizens, as we are sure you will do too, we would like to appeal to your moral and ethical obligation to help those in need, especially those for whom we are responsible.

Therefore, we request a permit to cross this border if we have strong and legitimate indications that Orange-Bourgognians are in troubles near the border. Insofar as we know, there are no Orange-Bourgognians left in Western afrika, but we cannot be absolutely sure about that at this moment in time.

Of course, we will share all relevant information with you before we seek to cross the border, and we will stay in touch with your authorities if we do so throughout the mission.

Please respond to this request, so that we know where the Furstian government stands on this issue. If you have any questions or other points, I will happily meet with yourself or any other person to discuss the topics you want to talk about.

Your Excellency,

The Government of the Socialist Republic of Furstia has decided to close down its borders with West Africa after ensuring that no Furstian civilians remained in the country.

However, the aforementioned action does not signify that our Embassy in Abidjan has also closed down.

Due to the unstable situation, any civilians are welcomed to seek asylum inside our diplomatic outpost.
Should they not be able to do so, after proper identification by the People's Gendarmerie at any border checkpoint, they will also be welcomed to enter into our country.

If any further questions over this issue should happen to arise, do not hesitate to consult once again.

BREAKING NEWS
Furstian troops cross into Western afrika!

Today, in the first hours of the morning, border crossings saw increased activity as columns of tanks and other vehicles carrying personnel of the Furstian People's Army entered the neighboring country to "assist the West African Government to restore peace", according to Government sources.

Aircraft of the Furstian People's Air Force could be seen taking off from their bases and fly into West African airspace. There are reports that the recently deployed vessels of the Furstian People's Navy are now patrolling West African territorial waters.

When asked about these events, the Comrade Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrés Dorrego answered the following to TVEF:

"The situation is unsustainable and it is unacceptable that our country continues to remain idle on this urgent matter. Our Government contacted the West African authorities near midnight and after the confirmation of their authorization, our forces have received orders of deployment in the neighboring country with the sole purpose of re-establishing order and peace and to prevent any more bloodshed between our West African brothers."

It is estimated that approximately 15,000 soldiers and almost 1,000 vehicles (between tanks and IFVs) are now in West Africa. Reports from the Ministry of Defense and State Security tell that an additional 45,000 troops are expected to go to West Africa to participate in this pacification operation over the course of this week.

EXCLUSIVE: PRINCE EDMUND IN RELATIONSHIP
~ Daily Tabloid

Daily Tabloid found out that His Royal Highness Prince Edmund of Orange-Bourgogne (20), the most desired bachelor in the world, is no longer available for the ladies.

One of our correspondents spotted the prince with a girl and took a photograph of the pair. They were cuddling as they walked down the street towards what we believe to be her home. Confronted with this evidence, the Royal Household admitted that Prince Edmund has a “serious relation” for almost six months now.

Daily Tabloid then found out that the girl in question is Lady Caroline de Hainaut (19). She is the daughter and heir of Baldwin Count of Hainaut and Tournai and his wife, Philippa.

The two know each other because they both went to Oxford University and both of them participated in similar sports, such as [horse] riding.

In an official statement, HRH Prince Edmund claims to be “relieved that my relation is now publicly known”, however, he immediately added that “[we] do not want the media to cover every single aspect of our lives. Please allow us to have our fair amount of privacy”.

Rumours where already spreading whether the Prince was interested in females rather than males or the other way round, because it took him so long to admit to have affectionate feelings for anyone, but now it seems as if those comments were not justified. Of course, Daily Tabloid will continue to follow the royal couple for your entertainment and information, while we are also that the couple has found each other.

As the column of tanks and soldiers entered the Labé Region of West Africa, the local inhabitants (that had been vocal supporters of the newly founded "Republican Movement") looked at the Furstians with increasing suspicion.

While the two other brigades had received orders and were on route towards areas still in control of the Government, the 6th Mechanized Infantry Brigade had been commanded to proceed towards Niamey.

Arriving at their destination, crowds gathered and started asking questions. Before any spark of violence could appear, the soldiers started handing out pamphlets written in Yoruba, Igbo and Spanish.

"Dear West African brothers and sisters.

The soldiers of the Socialist Republic of Furstia are not here to harm you. We only seek to help your society to restore Peace and avoid any more fights.

Only through reconciliation, West Africa will be able to progress towards a brighter and better future.

As your friends, we will assist you through these turbulent times, so that any possible transition happens within a framework of order, respect, lawfulness and equality.

But in order to achieve that objective, we need your complete cooperation to prevent a deterioration of this situation. Only after Peace has been reestablished, your country will be able to make the firm changes that you desire for your lives.

Together, we will build a new tomorrow for West Africa."

Shortly after, the forces started distributing crates of food and beverages, from trucks at the end of the column, to the population as a sign of friendship and goodwill.

West African territorial waters, Gulf of Guinea

One of the Breguet Atlantique 2 that was patrolling detected a new signal on its sensors.

"Come in, APF Limbe. This is Gaviota-2 reporting. An unidentified vessel has been detected. Most likely a submarine at periscope depth, northwest of our position. Current course: 0-3-0, has entered into West African territorial waters. Any orders, over?" the communications officer relayed to the APF Limbe, which was the flagship of the operation.

"Gaviota-2, this is APF Limbe. Commanding officer has ordered you to proceed to the location of the signal to establish visual confirmation and contact. APF Malabo and its helicopters will be there to assist you. Over."

"Understood, APF Limbe. Proceeding towards the location of the signal. Gaviota-2, over and out."

Soon after, the elements were in the proximities of the vessel that had been detected. With its two SH-60 already in the air, the vessel APF Malabo attempted to establish contact.

"Unidentified submarine vessel, This is the Furstian People's Navy, complying with an official request of military assistance from the West African Government. You have entered into territorial waters of West Africa. Surface at once for visual identification and clearly state your intentions."

West African Territorial Waters, 30 miles from shore

As the USS New Hampshire plowed through the clam waters off the now war-torn coast of West Africa, Capt. John Fraser took a sip of his coffee as he went over crew readiness reports and updated intel regarding conditions on land.

"A real nightmare on shore. Add in that p*ss-poor task force and land component that Russoslavans are sending and you almost, ALMOST feel sorry for folks.."

The New Hampshire's XO, Lt. Wright only chuckled before replying

"Now now sir, let's now bad mouth our allies shall we? They are a going concern now"

Fraser looked at his XO and saw him stifling a laugh and only shook his head as he chuckled as well

"Be that as it may Robert, this has sh*tsandwich written all over it. Personally I'd rather be working with the Fursitans or even the Cantonese in any ongoing dispute, not waste time on some adventure in West Africa. Sadly, politics are involved and you know how that game goes..."

Lt. Wright only glumly nodded before the nearby radar operator spoke up

"Sir! I have a surface contact bearing course 275 at a distance of 40 miles. readout shows it's a Furstian People's Navy frigate."

Fraser looked at his XO and only grinned before facing the helmsman

"Bring us on a equal course Ensign. Let's go say hello to the neighbors."

King's Proclamation, 45th of the Reign of Francis II
Proclaimed on The 10th day of the Seventh Month of the Year of our Lord, MMXIX

(Translated from French and Dutch)

Waking up every morning to unfortunate news of the suffering, death, and violence in Western afrika has been an issue of mine that I have taken personally, and contemplated in the past several days. It disgusts me to realize that there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people at risk of danger and displacement in the hands of violence enacted by a few thousands of militants on both sides. On behalf of the Royal Family, and of Belagia, we send our condolences to the families of Western Afrika that had lost loved ones to these hands of violence.

As this Proclamation shall state, we, the People of Belagia, will not sit idly as we watch a nation of people crumble and suffer under it's own weight, for this is an act of atrocity that threatens to rid the world of it's humanitarian integrity.

Under the powers of royal prerogative granted to this throne by the Ghent Compromise, signed by our forefathers, I hereby, by means of oration before the public and the written text, decree the following:

I. The Royal Belagian Medical Corps, swearing allegiance to the Hippocratic Oath and to the throne, shall dispatch a hospital battalion and work with several humanitarian aid organizations in setting up the logistics and sites for first-aid, healthcare and community protections that many communities in Western afrika are in desperate need of, amidst the chaos and violence of the Republican Uprising.

II. Over 400.000.000 francs from Royal Assets Management will be pledged for financing non-partisan humanitarian efforts in Western afrika. Organizations recognized by the throne number in their importance including Doctors Without Borders (providing specialized healthcare that is otherwise unavailable), Watchdogs of Peace (which monitors all movements and actions of military combatants on behalf of the International Community), and the Red Cross.

III. The throne shall enact the Foreign Powers Priviledge granted by royal prerogative to compel the Venkratstaat and the Prime Minister to work towards efforts in ensuring a peace can be established amongst this violence. This includes Belagia's requested membership into The world congress and working with significant nations in establishing such a peace as soon as possible.

IV. HM Service of the People, which maintains a proper relationship between the Throne and the People, shall be granted an undisclosed sum of money to begin procuring a Public Service Campaign to raise awareness of the chaos in Western Afrika.

With these terms and statements laid out, they are henceforth validated and are in effect upon the signing and declaration of the throne.

I, Francis II, King of the Belagians, Grand Knight and Duke of All Peoples of Belagia and her Subsequent Realms and Dominions, Grand Duke of the Caribbean Realms of Dominica and Martinique and the Pacific Dominions of Polynésie and Nouvelle-Calédonie, Grand Marshal of His Armed Forces, hereby decree this 45th Proclamation, declared in the seventh year of my chivalrous reign on the 10th day of the Seventh Month of the Year of our Lord, MMXIX, in effect immediately and posted in every municipality and settlement of the jurisdiction of Belagia.

Large Gain by Republican Movement

The Republican Movement have advanced a large amount from Dakar. They now control (https://imgur.com/Uyr4I1h.jpg). Fighting rages on in the border areas. The areas that are highlighted blue and red are shifting control due to the fighting present across the area. The red areas are the areas controlled by the rebels. The blue areas are controlled by the Loyalists.

The headquarters for the Republican Movement has also moved to an unknown location in Dakar. The move comes after the second attempt at a raid. The raid once again failed, but Aysi Amaechi ordered the move of personnel and equipment.

Fighting also is continuing along the border of the Niamey region, though a Furstian convoy was let into the region. They are, however, under high surveillance from the Republican Movement.

"Captain, they are not responding." said the communications officers as he only heard radio silence.

The patrol aircraft in the area soon reported once again.

"APF Malabo, this is Gaviota-2. Our systems indicate that the unidentified submarine is diving and will attempt to escape. Over"

The Captain went over where the communications officer was sitting and grabbed the radio.

"Petrel-1, Petrel-2. Gaviota tells us that the vessel is trying to escape, do you have visual confirmation, over?" the captain asked the two SH-60 helicopters that were in the air.

"Petrel-1. They retracted their periscope, they're underwater. Over."

"This is Petrel-2, we just saw the same thing from our position. Over."

"Who the hell are these people?" the captain thought to himself.

"Gaviota-2, come in. Over."

"This is Gaviota-2, Over."

"The vessel is refusing to comply and is trying to escape. You are cleared to engage. We'll try to make them surface. Over."

"Understood, APF Malabo. Over."

Opening its weapons bay, the plane reduced its altitude.

The crew chief of the aircraft ordered to one of his subordinates "Weapons officer, prepare charges 1 and 2."

"Preparing charges 1 and 2."

After a few moments checking parameters, everything was ready.

"Charges 1 and 2 prepared, Comrade."

Closing in on the area where the submarine had started to dive, the chief said "On my mark... 3... 2... 1... Drop."

With the press of a button the two depth charges were released and sank below the water.

"Charges 1 and 2 dropped."

After a short but tense period of time, the two explosions could be seen as the water rose up.

The Captain of the APF Malabo picked up the radio once again.

"Unidentified submarine vessel, surface at once immediately, over. This is the vessel APF Malabo of the Furstian People's Navy, complying with an official request of military assistance from West Africa. Surface for identification immediately. Over."

Furstia wrote:

"Conn to Torpedo room deploy Counter-Measures," the XO said

"Understood, deploy decoy in 3...2...1, Decoy away,"

"Sir, we're no longer cavitating, we're below the duct," The Sonar Officer added.

"Good, give the ship and wide birth, make depth 100 feet," the Commander replied,

"Understood, making depth 100 feet dive aye," the Pilot acknowledged.

"Holy crap, the decoy is making a crap ton of noise," the XO commented.

"That's the point, it's to make it look like we're running scared," the commander said as the ship steers away from the decoy.

Russoslava wrote:

"Radar, what's the status?" the captain asked.

"Captain, there is a lot of noise, sir. The vessel might have sustained damage but hasn't changed course and is still going away. But, I cannot positively identify it, the instruments are saturated with that signal."

"If they do not surface soon then they are fine and are probably just hiding behind a countermeasure. If we cannot locate it then we can't waste our fuel chasing it."

Turning to face the communications officer he ordered.

"Rodríguez, tell Gaviota and our helicopters to be on the lookout. Inform APF Limbe and relay the information to the West Africans as well. They don't have many assets on the water, but they might be in danger."

"Yes Captain"

"And we may be wasting our time, but try a couple more times to communicate with that submarine if possible."

"Of course, Comrade Captain."
