Ulysses S. Grant Memorial Bridge halfway complete, worker suffers non-life threatening injury while working on tower interior
Work is proceeding smoothly on the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial Bridge and work on the roadway and interior spaces of the towers is halfway complete. Though during the work inside on of the towers, a worker was injured following a fall. He is reported to be in stable condition and suffered non-life threatening injuries. The family of President Grant has stated it's intent to attend the opening ceremony of the bridge and a company of the 3rd Regiment (Old Guard) will lead a procession across to Arlington while dressed in the same Federal Blue uniforms as the men who Grant lead into battle.
Congress to remove statues dedicated to Confederate leaders from the Capitol Building
In a dramatic debate, Congress has approved the remove of statues of Confederates leaders that were placed in the Capitol Building during the early 1900s. Chief among them is the state of former Confederate President Jefferson Davis, who before becoming President of Confederate States was Secretary of War and a Senator from Mississippi. Congress has stated that it does not intend to destroy the statues but will instead send them to the Smithsonian for display or to the Museum of American History.

Leaks from within Parliament have spread suggesting that members within the Left are currently in talks with the Greens over merging their parties together. Both parties have for quite some time been working together but as of late they've grown closer to the point in which many supporters of the Greens are often also in favor of the Left. Their shared policies and willingness to work together has laid down the foundations for a possible merger.
Though it must be said that both parties ally, the Social Democratic Party has spoken against such a merger. Their belief is that while they are apart of a coalition in which in the coming future will run Parliament as they are just two seats away from overtaking the Christian Democratic Union-Free Democratic Party Coalition, such a merger could result in pushing away diehard supporters and in the long run leave their overarching coalition without enough seats to hold a majority.
It's speculated that the Left and Green will, however, continue forward with this path and Current Reichkanzler Lars Dupont, leader of the CDU-FDP Coalition has in the past few days been in countless meetings with the New Flemish Alliance and Erayyi National Partei. Both parties that previously refused to join his coalition due to political differences. Many suspect that his sudden meetings are in hopes of securing a future coalition against the SDP run coalition.
It's not quite fully known yet but as details come out, ENN will continue to inform both the Erayii people and the citizens of the world.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it!", exclaimed Tsujii Shinataro. Tsujii was driving an Isuzu Box Truck and approached a checkpoint that blocked the bridge into Shikoku. He wanted to turn around but couldn't since there was traffic due to the checkpoint. Most cars and trucks got through quickly however.
He kept pulling up towards the checkpoint and before he reached it, he realized he had forged papers to show the checkpoint guards. After waiting for five minutes, he made it to the checkpoint and was told to pull off due to the truck size. He pulled forward and parked the truck. "Any documentation?" asked a guard. Tsujii nodded and handed the paper. The guard scrutinized the paper over and over. The guard looked up at him and handed the paper back. "You're through to go. Move along." said the guard as he walked away from the truck.
As the guard was walking away, when we was about 7 meters away, he heard a thump from the truck and looked back at the truck to see what happened. He looked at Tsujii to see if it wasn't just him hearing a random thump. Tsujii's face told him everything. The guard raised his weapon and told Tsujii to step out of the truck. Tsujii quickly started the truck and attempted to make a break for it. He rammed through a guard post which was answered by gunshots, guards shooting at the truck. The original guard called ahead. "Code Black, repeat Code Black!", he exclaimed.
Before Tsujii could make it to Shikoku, the military from the other side of the bridge was in formation, ready to fire. Tsujii slammed on the breaks and stopped the truck about 20 meters away from the blockade of soldiers. "Step out of the vehicle, you will be detained." said a soldier over a loudspeaker. Tsujii thought to himself and decided to step out. "Turn around, someone will come to detain you. Do not try to run or you will be shot." said the voice. Tsujii closed his eyes and turned around, listening to stay alive.
No guard moved from their position. A soldier was given an aim signal and then raised his weapon as he looked down the sights. He was aiming for the knee. He was then given another signal. He aimed and shot. Tsujii collapsed to the ground, shot through the heart.
A group of soldiers walked over to the truck and opened it up. Inside was 75 people who had been kidnapped. "What do we do?" asked a soldier. "We see what the guy wanted with them, then we report it directly to the Grand High Minister." answered another. The first soldier pointed to a man that appeared to be in this mid-thirties. "Any reason you were taken?" he asked. The man shook his head to show he didn't know. The soldier continued to ask until he got to a fifteen year old boy. The boy answered.
"I heard him talking about how his group needed soldiers and how they didn't have enough on the island so they needed kidnapped us to fight for them." he said, shakily. "Who is 'them'?" asked the soldier. "Something to do with fascists, I think." said the boy in a confused tone. The soldier look the other and nodded. "We have what we need. Call units in to clear these people, the truck, and that body. Call us a unit to the Grand High Minister Tower in Yokohama." he said. The other soldier nodded and spoke into his radio.

Journalists flock to the government district of Mogadishu. Today, the Supreme Court of the Imperial Federation is set to rule in what has become Lysenku v. Imperial Federation, which focuses on the question whether income-based, proportional fining conflicts with the Sixth Article of the Infinian Constitution, enshrining equal protection under Imperial Federative law. The Infinian government denies this, claiming that taxation or fining based on income does not relate to equal protection under the law, for it a financial matter, not a personal one.
After the lower-jurisdiction judges sided with Lysenku, the State Court upheld the law as constitutional, leading Lysenku to appeal to the Supreme Court. After days of hearings, the court has made its decision.
It had sided 7-2 in favor of The Imperial Federation. Justice Vita Chiyeto wrote the majority opinion, arguing that 'income is not inherent to any persona - it is a financial status, which is different from the equal protection enshrined in the Sixth Article of the Infinian Constitution. Justice is not treating anyone the exact same in every single dimension. Justice is making the system work for everyone, no matter what social background they come from. It is not an violation of the Constitution to allow income-based differentiation, or for proportional fining, to make Infiny a more equal nation.'
The dissenting justices, Lena Zucyal and Aurel Socolovo, stuck firmly to the belief that income should not determine how equal you are. The Sixth Article of the Infinian Constitution does not allow for discrimination before the law - and this clearly includes financial discrimination,' wrote Zucyal, who led the dissent.

Moscow — The Lubyanka, the KGB's headquarters, have ordered a synchronized effort to aid our comrades in Donau-bundesreich in the coming referendums in the country. The KGB will focus on the regions where polls give a close call or a slight victory to either side. More specifically they will focus in Bosnia, Croatia, and Slovenia. The operation will be divided into two: On the one hand the KGB will help the Communists with the campaigning and the mobilization of volunteers to spread the word. This will include explaining the Communist platform and the advances that the faction have made towards improving the standards of living in the areas they control. On the other hand, the KGB will also significantly expand the social media efforts it began during the height of the civil war to continue to drive the communist message and to point out the destructive nature of the Union-, ISA-backed factions. This campaign will use social media bots to spread the word online. They will show the horrors of war done by the Republicans and the Union forces, not only in Danubia but also in Qing and will generate the message that voting for the Republicans would be like voting for constant, never-ending wars.

National Reaction to Plebiscite Results
Word of the provisional estimated results of the UAN plebiscite has spread across danubia quickly following the announcement of the results in Bohemia. These results show that while the Mészáros Government and their United Front of Liberty has gained a plurality of the support in Bohemia, Austria and Slovenia much of the nation has voted in favour of Stauffer and her Socialist Unity Party.
The votes are currently not yet confirmed, with both Bohemia and much of the south excluding Dalmatia being rather split between the two sides. However, it has become clear that Stauffer has a majority of support across the nation as well as a significant amount of support in many of the Republican-Plurality regions, as well as in major cities such as Prague, Wien and Agram.
We have been told that Mészáros has departed for Budapest to discuss the results with Stauffer personally as laid out in the Danubia Peace Plan. Supporters of Stauffer have begun celebrating in cities across the nation, while a number of former foreign generals have conceded defeat and have either pledged their loyalty to stauffer or announced plans to leave the nation as the communists now move to consolidate control over former republican territory.

RBC News: North Star Defence Aviation Division Builds several New factories
Since North Star Defence was awarded the contracts to build on the F-4 Phantom II and F-5 Tiger II Designs the company has elected to build 7 new factories across to country to boost production and assist with Unemployment Rates. The Company also said that it's part of the government incentive to diversify the economy. With the construction of the New factories on their way both the boost from the construction needed for such a project and the new for more factory workers have once again caused a significant reduction in Unemployment and will continue once the factories begin production
Mészáros Concedes as Plebiscite Results revealed
The finalised results of the UAN Plebiscite were announced from a conference inside the former foreign office in Vienna this afternoon. The final results confirmed a large majority of citizens supported the Stauffer administration which earned a plurality of votes in every region except Austria and Bohemia (although the latter was an extremely close result) and an overall popular vote of around 73%.
Following the Announcement, Emilie Stauffer and her cabinet quickly moved to call a meeting of representatives from each major region and faction within her party to begin work on re-organizing the nation as per her parties socialist and internationalist agenda and has begun further cooperation and communication with the reconstruction efforts to better document the progress that has been made and the areas where the reconstruction efforts and resources should be focused.
Meanwhile, Richárd Mészáros gave his response outside his family estate close to the hungarian city of Raab.
I am sure you are all aware of todays announcement. This revelation has caused great anger, fear and sadness in many of you i am sure. I would be lying to say i myself had not expected a better result. However, i have stood my entire life for democracy, my father played a core part in the first revolution that would come to define the nature of the second. I have made many mistakes in my time and especially over the last two years and i apologise to all who were affected by such actions.
I have stood my entire life for democracy, and it is for that reason that i must concede in the face of such an overwhelming majority against me. The people have spoken, and i respect that. I realise that the time for conflict is over and now we must do all we can to rebuild. I cannot support the current government or the communist system it claims to represent, however i can support Danubia as i have always done throughout my entire career. I will always stand for danubia and her people, as well as for the principles on which we stand.
I have made an agreement with Ms Stauffer to resign from the position of president and recognise the legitimacy of her government. n return she has offered to grant myself, my cabinet and officers and all who fought for the republican cause amnesty for what occured during the civil war. We have been given an opportunity to unite and rebuild and we must do all we can to ensure that danubia once again becomes the shining paragon we once were and know we can be. I will be dissolving the united front for liberty effective immediately and have accepted this offer of citizenship and amnesty. I urge all my officers and supporters to do the same in the name of peace. Thank you.
