Who are the Israeli politician(s) who you like or admire( right now in the present,no historical figures please)?

My favourite one till some time back used to be Netanyahu.
But after seeing those serious charges of corruption against him and the way he is attempting to wriggle free of them + my concerns over how he is giving the haredim a free pass compared to non haredim.

I recently became disillusioned with him. I am also concerned over how Israel is turning into a wedge issue in the US like abortion and guns thanks to him and Ron dermer.

For now, I want to give a chance to Yair lapid. Benny gantz is a good honourable man,but he is too fond of platitudes(the unity government was the right decision if you ask me). I see Yair as a pragmatic person who has some strong pillars which he won't abandon and one who deserves to be given a chance.

I also have a soft spot for ayelet shaked and naftali bennet.

If Ayman odeh was a zionist and not a communist..I would have added him to the list.. he seems more sensible than the usual Arab leader

I think Amir peretz has come to the point of view that the Israeli labour won't rise again and is doomed to oblivion forever seeing the massive RW shift of Israeli youth. And maybe that's why he has given up.

Interesting views on lapid.yeah the Israeli anti Bibi media likes him a lot.

I said odeh was better compared to the usual Arab politician.. compare him to those in ra'am-balaad, heba yatzhak,Ahmed Tibi etc. Hadash at least talks or pretends to talk about good relations and integration. They have one Jewish MK on their board.

I see nothing wrong with supporting Assad. He's a brutal dictator but at least non Sunni Muslims and Christians have a future under him which we can't say for his jihadist opposition(funded by turkey and Qatar who support Hamas too). He's better than the alternative and to be frank I don't see any government in Syria changing its views towards Israeli as long as the Golan heights is under Israeli control..
