It doesn't quite work, but: "The worst day of my life, wasn't when I learned Santa Claus wasn't real. It's when I learned Chuck Norris was!"

In response to the The Board message from Northern Rosary Isles

Full Name of Nation: The Unending Empire of Cianlandia
Head of State: Emperor Kial'Dir IV
Population: 8.14 Billion
Do you fully consent to paying membership fees required of you? Y/N: tad confused here. In roleplay dues, Yes, absolutely. Real money, no. In assuming it's all rp, but just checking to dissuade my paranoia.
Might Cianlandia also be a part of the security forces?

Yes. Sarcasm.

Scrambling back to the car, Officer Rensin radioing in. "I've found another body." She slammed the door of her car, turned on the sirens and sped after the man in the van. Giving her location, she shot down the road. "Suspect heading East on D285 to Sesina, seemingly alone, green van."

As other police cars in the area began responding, Yousafi, who was on patrol in another area, turned on his sirens and sped up, working out the route he would need to take to intercept the van. As the cars roared across their respective stretches of road, a blockade was being set up a little ways from Sesina. As the chase progressed, the chopping of helicopter blades filled the air as it followed the van. Once the suspect approached the blockade, as well as the three or so police vehicles on his tail, a team of MNIS Agents were waiting both on the smaller roads leading away from the town, and in the forest on the other side of the road to cut off the suspect's escape, although the woodland was deemed too dense to be of much use to the killer.

Yousafi merged onto the D285 just as the radio crackled and the voice of the helicopter crew sounded. "Suspect's exited the vehicle about a mile from Sesina. Gone into the woods. Appeared to be carrying some kind of rifle."

Yousafi scowled, looking into the forest with a scowl. Ahead, he spotted officer Rensin ahead. The green van also came in sight, and the officer was standing outside it. Yousafi radioed in as he slowed down. "Officer Rensin and I have found the van."

"We've lost sight of the suspect," the helicopter reported.

Yousafi came to a stop and got out of his car. "Did you see where he went," he asked Rensin, walking up to her.

"No. He was too far ahead, although there are some footprints leading away."

The blare of sirens came from behind them as another police car pulled up next to them. Two officers got out. "Me and three other officers are going in."

"We're detaching a team from the blockade," came the reply from MNIS.

"Follow me." Yousafi said, stepping over the concrete barrier between the road and forest. The other officers did the same, weapons drawn.

"There isn't much out here," One of the officers said.

"He might have a house in the forest." Yousafi replied. "I doubt he wants to cross it entirely."

They continued searching, but a few hours later, when it had gotten dark, neither they nor the MNIS agents had found anything. The tracks had ended a little ways in and the search was called off.

After returning to police headquarters, can emergency press conference had been called. Yousafi now stood off to the side as the MNIS detectives stood in front of the rows of journalists.

"Thank you all for coming," one of them began, "In a major breakthrough today, we believe we have found the killer. An officer spotted him returning from the sight where he had dumped another body, one we have yet to identify, and gave chase. We set up a blockade, but the suspect veered into the forest before reaching it. A search of the area proved unsuccessful, but we have nevertheless made great strides in this investigation. We can now," he clicked a button on the laptop next to him and a photo of a suspect was projected onto the large screen in front. "give you this man's identity. Milo Evenrich, a university professor, We suspect he lived alone. Having disappeared somewhere inside Pesidion Forest, we know that he is armed. In the coming days, officers will search the forest, and we ask any member of the public to not approach him for any reason, and to inform the police immediately if you see him."

As Journalists hurled questions at the detectives, Yousafi grimaced at the thought of having to search the area.

How is it spam?

It isn’t inappropriate and it isn’t irrelevant. Have you heard of joking around?

Thank you The centrucian empire, very nicely put. Zekberg might have said it was a joke and I was essentially being overly sensitive but it's my job to suppress such posts and they can say that it was a joke just as I can say you, Frankender, are a terrible person without knowing anything about you and while being completely wrong. If it was intended as a joke, then they have no understanding of the components of a joke. A joke isn't a joke because someone says it is. If you were to post the same thing, I'd suppress you, if I were to post the same thing, I'd want someone to suppress me too.

Talk about free speech all you want but that was not free speech, that was a shouted copy and paste lot of nothing that brought nothing to the RMB except disruption. The posts were annoying, intrusive and really unnecessary. The suppression was not a suppression of anyone's free speech.

It was nice to feed on someone though. It had been ages since we have had an orgy of blood like that. Our face is wrinkle-less, our hair is strong and thick, and our body is tight like a twenty-one year-old. Right now my booty thinks its 2009! The blood of the pirates did us well.

Frankender wrote:I had no idea the new regime lacks free speech lol

Quite the contrary, Frankender, our current Lazarene regime is ruled by a benevolent delegate who has allowed Demonos to get away with a lot pertaining to our speech and views. This last disruption showed Demonos that Lazarene executives are permissive but unable to push over.
