At the streets of the city in Shiro, it was just like every other city, but more calm, relaxing and silent compared to most cities in Valsora. Even when the streets were still busy, people have been keeping quiet or softly speaking with each other, almost everything is in harmony.

Unlike almost all cars in the city, there is one bulletproof TESLA-like vehicle, and that is where the dueler is. Inside, is just like any car, just with a bit quote-on-quote "fancy" stuff, there's the dueler himself Manzanedo, one guard and one driver. Manzanedo stares at the slowly expanding city and it's fast changing industry. He is having thoughts of facing backlash and mockery from San Sierran internet users, doubts from the nation's official parliament, and his failure of representing the San Sierran far right. He has also thought that this city is the perfect spot to die in.

The driver, named Máximo del Cielo Ramírez, looks at Manzanedo by the mirror of the car. "Something wrong, presidente?" He said while driving. According to his GPS, the location he's going is to the city hall, where the Charitian empress awaits.

Manzanedo shakes his head in response to Máximo's question. "I'm fine." He clearly isn't.

"There's no offense presidente, but I doubt you're fine." Replied Máximo to Manzanedo's answer, doubting it and taking a left with the car.

"You're right, I lied, I'm not fine." Admits Manzanedo. "But I will not let it affect my training and honor on swordfighting, besides, this isn't the first time some leader has fought in a sword duel with other nation's officials." He adds.

Máximo sighs. "I see..." He's near the city hall. "Did you practice after you arrived though?"

"Of course I did, everyone practices before they even participate in a competition, tournament or duel, I even believe that the Empress has obviously practiced." Answers Manzanedo, turning his head to look as his sword.

"Well..." Máximo pulls up (or stops) the vehicle. "... We're here." The view of the city hall is quite visible because the men are close to it.

Manzanedo puts a not-so-visible smile towards the city hall, THIS is the location where his life will likely be put to an end. "Thank you, Ramírez." He says, Manzanedo knew the name of the driver by looking at his ID with his name. He opens the door for himself and hops out, he looks at the guard. "Also, you don't have to guard me, I'll go by myself." He says, before closing the door.

Máximo opens the car door's window. "Buena Suerte." He yelled in San Sierran Spanish towards Manzanedo, wishing him a good luck before closing it again.

Manzanedo smiles in a bit depressing way. _{"There goes my life, I did challenge her after all."} He whispered to himself, before looking at the building with the sun shining, he proceeds to take steps while holding his long sword, readying to battle for honor and deal with the Devil.

The last step is where he opens the hall's door.
