The worst issue I can think of regarding “civil rights” is the one where you have to decide whether or not to let a neo-Nazi group hold a rally in your nation. I guess the right for a group of people to freely spew their hatred everywhere without consequence is more important than the rights of the people they target with their abuse.
Or when you try to increase the rights of LGBTQ+ citizens, but your civil rights go down because some religious group got offended. I have no problem with having religious freedom and actually promote it frequently in my nation (I enforce a secular education in schools, but in someone’s private life they can practice whatever religion they like). However, if you use your religion to try to infringe on someone else’s right to peacefully exist, I’m not going to allow that.

we point you to our party's official stance on the use of the term British
no. put simply when we use the term "brit" (and all of its forms, British, Br*tish, etc.) we mean English (and all of its forms, anglo, Engl*sh, etc.) some people object to this, however, we fully believe that these people are just pro-England infiltrators trying to slander the good name of the Official delete England Party. as such we will not listen to them
not British, some people use the term British to apply to everyone on the island of Great Britain. these people are nerds and probably unionist that are trying to muddy the line between Scottish, Welsh, and English. as such we refuse to use this definition, instead, we use the word brit to turn what is often used a word to encourage unity between the three nations as well as used to take away the accomplishments of the scots and welsh and claim them as "British" into a just another word for English. (this is also why we plan to make it illegal to refer to the scots and welsh as British)
unfortunately, while we would love to recognize these groups as not English and instead as independent entities they are near-universally both outside and inside of their respective areas considered parts of England, as such unless there is a huge uptick in the number of people identifying as something other than British or English in these areas they will have to be included in our definition of English. (yes I made this policy just to annoy martyn.)
hopefully, this clears up any confusion about our future use of terms to describe the nations that are concerned with our goal, and remember comrades, united we can delete England.
