Various technologic companies have been popping up in Moisus.

Techsus is no more alone in the Moisian investigation market.

Some examples of companies that have been formed are:

Scientificus Advancium:

"Our goal is to investigate and discover everything, and the faster, the better!" -Alexandrios, CEO of Scientificus Advancium

and Tecnologium:

"We have to be very careful to see if what we're investigating is efficient enough, if it will work for the future and if we invent something, make it perfect." -Jadwiga, CEO of Tecnologium

It is very likely that more companies will be formed.

Hello, and for the new one welcome here!

Feel free to ask anything if you need any help :)
Here's some useful information:

Welcome to The North Pacific!
NationStates' largest democracy

Whether you are new or experienced, this handbook will provide you with answers to all of your questions. If you have other unanswered questions, feel free to ask Delegate Simone Republic, Minister of Home Affairs The Democratic Kingdom Of Skaraborg, or any of the Gameside Advocates and Mentors. They will be glad to help! Additionally, we are always looking for ways to improve this handbook, so let us know if you think something should be added or changed.

First Steps

This section covers the very first items you should check off as a newcomer to the game and TNP.

  • Why you should be in TNP: explaining the pros of staying in our large region.

Ways to Get Involved

Now that you have cleared the basics, you must be looking for things to do. Below are some of the opportunities TNP offers.

  • Join the Executive Staff: The equivalent of TNP's Civil Service, the Executive Staff is a group of residents and citizens that are employed to assist one or more of the Ministries of the Executive Government. It is ideal both for new residents who want to gain experience in how the government operates, and for experienced citizens who are looking to contribute to the region through the Executive.

  • Enlist in the North Pacific Army: The North Pacific Army (NPA) is our regional military force. The NPA defends the region, our allies, and serves abroad helping our friends and fighting our enemies.

  • Enlist in the Militia: The North Pacific Army Militia is for people who wish to contribute to the North Pacific Army but for whatever reason, likely because they cannot/do not want to have a forum or Discord account, cannot be members of the regular Army in the Auxiliary or Special Forces branches.

  • Get involved in the World Assembly: Joining the World Assembly (WA) is one of the best ways to empower your nation, especially in TNP. Thanks to our WA Development Program, as a WA member you can determine international laws, have one of the highest endorsement counts in the entire game, and even win awards!

  • Get involved in RolePlay: We have not one, but two vibrant RolePlay (RP) universes, Eras and Strangereal. Each comes with its own map, chronology, and physics laws. If you commit to being active in RP, you can claim a spot in either universe's map, and join others in weaving stories about your nation and its role in the world.

  • Get involved in trading cards: Our regional cards guild provides many resources you can take advantage of to increase the value of your deck, including several offerings of free cards. As a member of the guild, you can also participate in many other cards-related activities, including themed collections, pull events, and regular publications.

Mrs. Gryaznov noticed the two boys carrying the luggage to the limousine. Grateful for their courtesy, she gets up from the leather limousine seat in her pink Louis Vuitton wrap coat. As she walks over to the boys, she gives off an ecstatic smile towards the two. Kneeling at them, she shakes the boys' hands and knowing very little of the Deerfenland language, she thanks the boys.
Walking back to the car, she shakes the hands of the tour guides which parallel the front of the vehicle.
As she and her husband got back into the limousine, the guide abruptly closes the door. The large crowd which was once scattered around the aircraft was now invincible through the tinted, bulletproof windows.
As the limousine left the airport, the president's private secretary began to go through the itinerary.

"First of all Mr. President, we shall arrive at the Regent's hotel. There, it is expected that you and Mrs. Gryaznov are to host a reception for multiple members of the Deerfenese government. Afterwards, you and Mrs. Gryaznov are planned to walk the streets of the capital and speak to small business owners"

"Out of curiosity, when shall we meet the Deerfenese President?" Mrs. Gryaznov interrupts the private secretary.

"Tonight ma'am. The Deerfenese president is hosting a state banquet at their home"

The discussion in the limousine distracted the sight of the many Deerfenese lining the streets to catch a glimpse of the motorcade. As the limousine began to slow and pull into the Regent's hotel, the crowds lining the pavements only got thicker. The two guide boys from the rural island of Haiti had never seen nor heard the roar of the crowds before. Still stunned by the mass amount of people, they both promptly get to their feet and race to open the limousine door.
As the president and first lady stood upon the pavement, they yet again found themselves waving at crowds and shaking hands. After accepting many bouquets of flowers from the people, Alexander and Sophia entered the hotel. There to greet the two in the hotel's atrium was a translator who was prepared to translate dialogue for the upcoming reception with Deerfenese parliamentarians.

Odelin went to the front desk of the hotel. "Yo pale Angle, kidonk ou vle sèvi ak mwen kòm yon tradiktè, oswa ou bon?" he asked to the desk. The stared at him. "Wi tanpri, mwen zanmi. Mèsi, mwen zanmi!" they all said in unison. Odelin came outside to Mzeki. "Di fanmi an Siprèm yo pran bagay yo nan chanm yo," he said to him. Mzeki nodded lightly and nudged the supreme couple. He urged them to take their stuff inside of the Regent's Hotel. They both nodded and were escorted to their suite. Both the supreme couple and the young tour guides alike were impressed with the elevator. There were fifteen elevators in a circular row. When they got onto the one marked "N", they were astonished by the view of the elevator of the skyline of the city of Lungi. Sophia whispered to her husband, "So, that is what they meant by Freetown and Lungi were twin cities," causing him to laugh.

When the elevator stopped on the 45th floor, everyone was astonished by how high up it was, and the view of everything. Their suite was marked as Room 4503. They walked into the room and immediately were shocked. The bathroom was the size of a bedroom, the bedroom had a view of the skyline of the city, the living room area had two couches in a bluescape lighting, and the television had Alerian Channels and African Channels. Sophia was shocked. "This is breathtaking," she said to no one in particular. Mzeki looked at the itinerary. "You guys are off to the reception with our new, fresh government. Odelin, ou se jiska disèt è," Mzeki said. Odelin nodded and shook the hands of both. Immediately, he headed home which was only a four-minute walk from the hotel.

Bayside Lungi Apartment Complex; 15:00

Odelin walked through the door and was immediately tackled by his little sister. The ten-year-old held onto him when he was on the ground. "Carson, I missed you!" she exclaimed. Her blonde hair and blue eyes glistened in the wind. She was from Aleria, but she escaped an abusive family (OOC: She is based on my real step-sister. My sister didn't escape an abusive family, however). She came to the African Strand Haitian Island and immediately met Odelin. The hurricane hit and she and her brother scammed for books that they could trade for sugar cane, rum, and all the things they couldn't afford. When they would sell those, they would get money. That money was used for them to get a flight to Freetown and to get a place to live.

Katelyn, drew her brother to the couch and immediately made him sit down. "You have a baseball game tomorrow, dear brother. They are giving you the day off today. You play the Angle of Chairty tomorrow. Just be ready," she said. Her Alerian accent was able to be identified immediately. Odelin just nodded and thanked her. The awkward part for him having a little sister was that he had to share a bed with her at night, and when she got scared, she would cuddle with him during the night. She lie her head on him lightly. Odelin just hugged her as they both drifted off to sleep.

Regent's Hotel; 15:25

Mzeki led the couple downstairs to the banquet and reception. "So, you will meet some of the congress, a few senators, and even the Minister of Foreign Affairs if I recall correctly," he said in a strong Haitian accent. The couple both nodded. The elevator landed on floor 1 and they all headed off to the conference room. At the Regent's Hotel, the congress room looked like a United Nations hall. Just smaller. Mzeki opened the door for the Alerian couple. "Here we are," he said. "Your seats are closer to the door, so will be the first ones out," he smiled. Mzeki had to ask one question. "Wait, before you leave. What is Aleria and Tiristan like?"

Hi, I was just wondering, how long does it take to become a citizen in TNP.

Asnoght wrote:Hi, I was just wondering, how long does it take to become a citizen in TNP.

You have to pass a couple security checks. It shouldn't take more than a day or two. Keep an eye on the citizenship application thread for your name.

Statement Regarding Heulian Criminal
Madanhoff, Lapathiya
Year 10 of Communism

In response to the request of the Republic of Heulia, that we turn loose a Heulian citizen and possible government agent, captured in an attempt to wire the Committee of Public Safety, we announce that the said criminal has been found guilty of crimes against the national security and sovereignty of Lapathiya. As such, he is designated an Enemy of the People, by direct order of the Committee of Public Safety, and the Madanhoff Sovyet has unanimously voted in favor of his execution as of this morning. He is to be tortured and then guillotined on national television at noon today. The prisoner will be interrogated prior to the execution, and the results of said questioning shall be published by Pravda.

To the government of Heulia, Lapathiya issues the following demands:

—To imprison all past perpetrators of anti-Lapathiyan propaganda, and to ban all speech against Lapathiya in Heulian media;

—To allow Lapathiyan Kalyta agents into Heulia to investigate and accordingly seize and punish those involved with this bugging attempt, by whatever means we see as fit and necessary;

—To extradite all Enemies of the People, as declared by the Committee of Public Safety, to Lapathiya, including any Heulians found guilty in this matter.

Failure to act immediately on these three conditions will result in further action as necessary, including military action if so deemed necessary by Will of the People.

OOC: So now just refuse or whatever you wanna do, and I’ll declare war in response like we agreed.

Me and Heulia want to RP a war, and right now we’re doing the buildup.

Essentially one of his citizens bugged the CPS, and was detained accordingly. His government demanded I release his citizen, but my people found him guilty and he was declared an Enemy of the People. So now he’ll respond by not giving into my demands (kinda like Serbia with Austria) and I’ll declare war in response.

We planned it all out.

Sounds like a good RP with an actual reason for war agreed between those involved.

You got the post war worked out? Also let respective alliances know so people don't start jumping in?
