Wintreath • Potatoe or Potato?

On this the 12th Edition of Polls: What do the people think?, we will be investigating one of the most powerful schisms in religious history in the Church of the Holy Potatoe, the de facto official religion of Wintreath. According to legend, Dan Quayle, former US VP, shook the world. When he visited a school, a child spelt "potato," p-o-t-a-t-o. The potato is the greatest gift SPUD, our Lord and Creator, gave to the world, and even if you don't believe in him, the potato is a magnificent food. SPUD also revealed his form to us in the form of a potato. Anyways, Dan Quayle quickly corrected the child and said the correct spelling of potato was "p-o-t-a-t-o-e." Historians and scholars are trying to figure out if this was a simple mistake, or was it a message, a prophecy from SPUD, a way of our creator connecting to humanity and enlightening us through Dan Quayle. Whether you are a member of the Potato schism, Potatoe schism, or a nonbeliever/heathen, the polls want to know. What way do you think Potato should be spelled/and or worshipped.
