It's comfortable enough inside, until the power grid is strained around 12pm-4pm and the AC doesn't work as well ;( (of course, right in the middle of the day when it's hottest). Also, the humidity here (70%+ on most days) makes it literally impossible to sweat, so...it's much worse than you think. Your body has no way of cooling itself when it's hot but also extremely humid, unlike in more arid climates. Basically, I just bring a huge bottle of water anywhere I go and hope I don't faint ;) I'm also sensitive to the sun, I burn almost immediately ;( Eventually I'll get a tan, but only after I've passed through the critical cancer-inducing stage ;(

I didn't mind that kind of heat when I would holiday in Puerto Vallarta, but that's right on the ocean so it's still quite cool (the cheap booze helped) ... went to Los Vegas a few summers ago and it was that hot and just lost all will to be outside in the daylight hours. To live in tht heat every summer would take me a long time to get used to.
