Clara nods. "I didn't know it was even here . . ." she dries Jordan's hands and feet after a short interval and wraps him back up in blankets (this causes moderate fussing). Once the baby is calm again, Clara leans back against Charlie's side with a big sigh. "I can't believe how tired I am, like I knew parenting meant no sleep but this is more than I expected. Guess that happens to everybody with their first kid."

Charlie sighs and places an arm around Clara's shoulders. "You dont have to be shy. Just ask me and I can take care of Jordan for a night or two, let you rest up some."
