As mayor of Ribe, and on behalf of the city council, I’d like to officially announce that the citiy’s song shall now be the piece;

“Miserere mei, Deus” (1630) - Gregorio Allegri

Originally composed for use in the sanctum sanctorum of services, as commissioned by His Holiness Pope Urban VIII, it is the opinion of Ribe’s Cultural Scholars, that this piece in its beauty and humility, properly communicates both the worldliness and immense respect for history that can be found in the very foundation of Balder’s cultural capital.
