Capture of the Traitor
Reĝino Ellen Shepherd confirmed today that the infamous terrorist of the Trankvilan Castle bombing was captured attempting to enter the country through the port of Dovántilkolost with a smuggling ring infamous for smuggling illegal slaves & wares. The suspect is charged with multiple counts of treason to the Empire of Trankvila, murder, and espionage. The royal guard escorted him to a hidden secret prison within the country for processing until the trial of the traitor is set up. The Reĝino is expected to attend the trial as the judge, jury, and executioner for him. Karthspiri, Acai, Ephyral, and German officials have been invited to the trial with specific emphasis on the Karthspiri officials. The trial is expected to be public viewing via TV, radio, and a live audience. Along with this, the country has been placed on lock-down until further notice

The Terai Is Apprehended
The Foreign Secretary has confirmed stories of the arrest of the exiled Terai of Karthspirije by Karthspiri agents earlier. According to the full story the Terai was attempting to free the country and go off the grid, and in his attempt crossed outside of the northern border of Trankvila, allowing the Terai to be apprehended by agents. When pressed for a comment the Reĝino had this to say "While we offered the gracious hospitality of our nation, it was so in agreement that the Terai stay within the borders of the country to avoid being arrested. Because he is not a citizen of the nation, the Karthspiri government as full rights to punish the Terai as they see fit. The Reĝino has scheduled a flight to the country along with the Freehold of Ephyral, Aca, and the German Empire following recent tensions with the 3 neighbors

The Future of Energy
Early today, the Reĝino opened the first of "hopefully many" nuclear power plants of the country. The Royal Shepherd plant, located outside of the city limits of the capital of Trankvileco. The plant was privately funded by the royal family but was donated to the public as a gesture of goodwill. The plant houses 10 nuclear reactors, with the hope that the country can move away to alternative power methods for the national grid to avoid using up precious resources and provide a more healthy economy & environment.
