The Confederacy was an actual state though CHAZ was not. I have respect for the Confederacy, always have and always will. Because you have to give the Confederate post master credit the dude reliably delivered mail better than the modern USPS in the middle of a war. Plus Lee was a really honorable general and in the end smoked a cigar with grant and chilled with him after it all ended like nothing had happened and then said he had a lot of respect for him after the war and that he didn't hold any Ill feelings for him. What a guy.

The civil war was not purely about slavery as well that was a small part of it. People need to stop saying that's the only reason the civil war happened as it's not true.
