Crown Prince François-Ferdinand shot in South Sudan!

It is undoubtable that tensions in the Territory of South Sudan have been close to a breaking point, in the past few decades. The rise of the "South Sudanese Marxist Liberation Army" (SSMLA) and the government's failure in fully rooting out the movement has led to intermittent skirmishes, riots and revolts in Egypt's southernmost region.

On the mids of these tensions, in an attempt to promote peace and on an ill-advised move by his own accord, Crown Prince François-Ferdinand became the first member of the Egyptian Royal Family to set foot in South Sudan. He was shot on his car at about 10 AM, while on his way to Juba Central Square, where he was set to give a speech.

The Crown Prince has been flown back to a hospital in Alexandria, where he is said to be on critical condition. No more information has been released about François-Ferdinand's status as of yet.
