According to the Alberta RCMP (National Police) and the CBSA (Canadian Border Services Agency) several tickets were issued to Americans travelling into Canada despite the mandated U.S.-Canada travel ban.

The border's literally closed and you want to go hike in freaking Banff National Park?

I swear, travel restrictions should be outright indefinite until the U.S. is able to get their act together. I don't care if you don't think the pandemic is big in your country, respect the laws of foreign countries damnit.
