Hear ye, hear ye, valiant Soldiers of Christ!
Greetings from the sun-drenched shores of Promethea, where liberty and virtue flourish! I, Doge Leone d'Oro, write to you today with a spirit of camaraderie and a thirst for glorious deeds.
News of your noble crusade has reached our fair republic, and it stirs the hearts of our most adventurous citizens. The explorer spirit burns bright within Promethea, and the tales of your conquests ignite a spark in our souls.
Though our paths may be far-flung, know that we stand with you in principle. May your blades find their mark, your minds be sharp, and your hearts resolute!
Should your righteous journey ever lead you near the shores of Promethea, our ports are ever open. We offer not only respite and commerce, but perhaps even a chance to share knowledge and forge alliances in the pursuit of a brighter future.
Onward to victory, Crusaders!
With blessings and unwavering spirit,
Doge Leone d'Oro
Most Serene Republic of Promethea
I find it ironic that we are talking about Mises and Keyes while I am in course that’s focused on Richard Posner’s “Law and Economics” jurisprudence.
Posner would be considered “right” on the political scale, but he is very much against metaphysics and is devoted to pragmatism.
I mean, as far as I can tell, so is Mises.
After 8 months of playing, I just got my first two Easter Egg issues. They came back to back… Is that normal? Has that happened to anyone else??
The Austrian school really seems to be mixed on the subject, you had North and Rushdoony on the metaphysical side while Hayek was less inclined towards it.
Mises did not reject it completely in contrast to Posner’s card carrying pragmatism.
