now that I know there are several uncolonized places near me, I will colonize nearby islands, try to colonize most ofAfrica, Portugal and parts of Spain soon

Resolution At-Vote: Omnibus Due Process Act

Our Vote recommendation: FOR

This Resolution seeks to provide four basic guarantees and protections to the accused parties in all member states' judicial systems. These guarantees range from preventing the invocation of a legal right from being used as evidence of criminal wrongdoing up to preventing the transfer of individuals in the custody of member states to jurisdictions where judicial proceedings may commence against said individuals that would violate World Assembly legislation. The Ministry finds that the guarantees provided by this Resolution are critically important to the safeguarding of fundamental liberties afforded to accused parties in judicial proceedings, and further finds that they contribute immensely to both the perceived and actual legitimacy of the judicial process. It is vital that such guarantees be provided, so as to ensure a substantive barrier exists from member state judicial systems and kangaroo courts bent on ignoring the inherent course of justice. For these reasons, the Ministry recommends a vote For this Resolution.
