British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announces new policy on 'on foreign-made equipment' used in 5G networks and telecommunications

In an announcement from the House of Commons, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a new policy on telecommunications equipment used by British companies to provide services to British citizens. The speech focused mainly on the Prime Minister's desire to "safeguard national security" and "protect British people's information on the internet." He went on to say that a recent report by the GCHQ regarding foreign actors having access to and being employed by British companies to provide services was a large risk to British national security. The report, which was published in 2018 did not provide any specific companies, but did suggest immediate government action on the issue. Following the publishing of the report, the Ministry of Defence along with the Government banned the use of phones and electronic equipment that "come from unreliable and unfriendly nations." The Government gave a salary incentive to all personnel who had to get rid of their equipment due to the ban.

In January of this year, the Government opted to prevent any further expansion of the Zhen company Huawei in British 5G networks. The Government introduced a cap on the company's ownership and development of 5G networks. Following this, many companies have begun to phase out Huawei equipment, expecting a potential future ban. On Monday, the Prime Minister announced an effective ban on "dangerous telecommunications equipment from hostile actors" during a meeting of the British Parliament. According to the new policy, the British Government has ordered all ISP's and telecomm companies to get rid of equipment with that description. As part of the new policy, the British Government will also provide tax incentives over the next six years, to make up for the costs of removal.

Companies have warned however, that the UK could be facing a temporary telecommunications blackout if the government continued to push on the policy. BT Group CEO, Philip Jansen warned on Monday, that Johnson would have to "be patient" and give companies time to remove and replace equipment. "It is not that easy. Crews have to go out there and replace the entire antenna because we simply upgraded 4G systems to 5G. This could take many months." Jansen told the BBC. "The problem is not the cost, but rather what this means for the British consumer." He added, stating that phasing out Zhen equipment could take more than eight months.

Following the announcement, Prime Minister Boris Johnson also encouraged companies to "put money into 5G technology research and development" in order to "create a true domestic 5G network in Britain."

Foreign Nationals Arrested For Drug Trafficking
July 13, 2020

DURBAN- A Turkish National and a British National was arrested Friday night on the charges of drug trafficking. The Durban Police Department arrested them at 8:55 pm local time. They were found in a alleyway behind a restaurant. The restaurant called the police on the basis of suspicious activity.

The two foreign nationals were carrying 5 pounds of cocaine. The individuals were arranged in a Durban courtroom. Both pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges. If convicted they could face 10 years in prison.

Durban is notorious for drug trafficking, drug dealing, murder and violent crime. Durban is the most unsafe city in the country. The murder rate and crime rates are double the national average. The city government of Durban requested aid from the Provincial Government of Natal and the Federal Government in 2008. The murder and crime rates have fallen by half since then. But Durban still remains the most violent city in the country. Work will continue to decrease crime and improve the lives of the people of Durban.

Afghan Government breaks silence on regional tensions

After the execution of fourteen Pakistani nationals, The pakistan state rapidly moved to take action against the Afghan government. All diplomatic ties were cut, and trade through Pakistan was no longer allowed after the Afghan-Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement (APTTA) was terminated.

Following these announcements, the government of Afsharid Persia condemned the actions of the Pakistani government, and backed the Afghan decision to execute the suspected Taliban fighters. Four days after the Persian Foreign Ministry announced this, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani broke his silence.

"The pakistan state has never looked out for the good of the people of Afghanistan. This is a nation that funds the enemy, and one of the few nations that recognized the vile regime of the Taliban. We must not seek reconciliation with a nation that has time after time shown that they are unwilling to work in fighting radicalism. Instead, we look to our brothers to our west for support and unity. We have signed a new trade agreement with Afsharid Persia, and all trade that once went through Pakistan will now be sent to Chabahar port. This is Islamic unity, nations working with each other in order to bring peace and prosperity. God willing, with the help of our Persian brothers we will be stronger than ever, and we will ensure the actions of the Pakistanis will be avenged."

In addition to President Ghani's statement, the Ministry of Justice subsequently released new guidelines allowing for any Pakistani national aiding, or fighting for the Taliban or armed militias, to be sentenced to death without extradition. The Afghan National Army has formed a specialized division for patrolling the border with Pakistan to curb the introduction of heavy weapons and armament through the normally porous border, and to "ensure the reduction of fighters travelling to and from sections of Pakistan's tribal regions."

Izetbegović Resigns
Sarajevo Times
7/13/2020

Duran Izetbegović announced his resignation from Interim Presidency during a press conference. Upon being asked who would succeed him, he gave a rude gesture to the journalist and cursed at him, before walking off the podium and into a backroom as the press yells questions at him. The room immediately filled with commotion as reporters discussed with each other. The other officials in the room panicked among each other. Izetbegović's now former secretary walked up to the microphone and awkwardly stated, "You all may leave now."

No clear successor is in line, and the Interim Government of Bosnia is now leaderless. Some of the Interim President's most adamant supporters resigned from office, leaving a large chunk of the government empty. The military is mostly intact, although suddenly decentralized as there is no Commander In Chief or Minister of Defense. The Chiefs of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Bosnia is mostly still intact, and now the burden of ruling Bosnia will most likely fall upon them, who are usually tasked with reforming the military.

Chaos shortly thereafter quickly swept across Sarajevo as looters and rioters alike are taking advantage of this national confusion and near collapse of central authority. This Anarchy leaves the city incredibly vulnerable to the rebel government, which has called itself the "Bosnian Republic." Firefights between opportunistic rioters with stolen weapons and police are happening at some parts, and in some cases police and soldiers are defecting to the side of the rioters and looters. Police stations in the city are being relentlessly attacked, possibly by people who want to seize equipment.

The Bosnian Islamic Legion, understanding what the next phase of the struggle will be, have begun abandoning their bases. Anything they can't bring with them is being destroyed, including the Egyptian missiles they possessed. Now, they plan on setting up camp in the mountains of Central Bosnia, where they'll hopefully be mostly hidden from whoever takes charge next.

President Lopéz gains asylum in Trinidad after Maduro seeks to crack down

TRINIDAD, CENTRAL AMERICA - President Armando Lopéz has, after a sensational chain of events, managed to land in Trinidad, Central American Alliance, and gain political asylum on the island.

The story begins on the 10th of July, when disputed President Maduro of Verapazuela and his government prohibited President Lopéz from leaving the country as well as froze his Verapazuelan assets. Lopéz and his supporters, feeling wronged by Maduro, took to the streets yet again to protest. These protests would continue well into the night, after which the local police forces and elements of intelligence agency, SEBIN, dispersed the rest of the protesters. It is worth noting that Lopéz claims a dozen of his supporters were illegally detained during the crackdown and have not been seen since.

The next morning, after the protests had dispersed, Maduro and his government launched a probe directed against Lopéz, accusing him of foreign interference as well as inciting violence towards the state of Verapazuela. Lopéz would release a statement in his social media, claiming that the probe had been illegally sanctioned and wasn't backed by the Verapazuelan Supreme Court of Justice. This would thwart the Maduro government for a few days, but the story is far from over.

In the early hours of Monday the 13th, Verapazuelan police forces approached Lopéz' residence, claiming to have a warrant for his arrest. The warrant had been issued due to him not complying with the probe. Soon after, a scuffle between Lopéz' bodyguards and the police officers ensued, and in the midst of it, Lopéz had managed to escape his home.

He regrouped with some of his followers, who organized another anti-government rally in Caracas - a rally that would eventually spread to multiple other cities around the country after news of Lopéz' situation came to light. With the core of his campaign, Lopéz drove to Barcelona, a hotbed of his support some 200 kilometers east of Caracas, and entered the local airport. Some of the local police officers, citing the warrant, attempted to arrest Lopéz - but his supporters would disrupt the arrest and force the police officers to withdraw from the airport. After the struggle with the police officers, Lopéz and his advisors boarded a helicopter and took off towards the east.

The situation culminated in the Gulf of Paria, where two Verapazuelan Air Force Sukhoi Su-30 fighters attempted to force the helicopter to turn back and land in Verapazuela. However, a squadron of F-16s of the Central American Alliance would join the frey and and get the Verapazuelan jets to turn around once the helicopter crossed the Verapazuelan - Central American Alliance maritime border.

In Trinidad, Lopéz greeted and met with a large crowd of Verapazuelan refugees that had settled on the island, and in the evening had a meeting with the CA President, Nayib Bukele. Lopéz thanked the people of Central American Alliance for a warm welcome, and condemned Maduro for continuing to hold onto power despite large popular opposition to him, as well as attempting to suppress the legitimate opposition to him.

Lopéz has said he will stay in Trinidad, to stay closer to the people of Verapazuela, and continue to challenge Maduro's illegal regime internationally.

The congo confederation

RTNC - Radio-Télévision Nationale Congolaise
Breaking News

“Hello, I am Alongi Ilunga, and welcome to another session of Ilunga Power Hour. This time we will be talking about the decision President Tshiskedi had made earlier this afternoon declaring an end to MONUSCO in the Congo.

Today I am joined with the regional winner for Africa for the UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award, Evariste Mfaume, Governor of Rwanda, Ange Kagame.

Mfaume, you work with refugees from the Buganda and Lunda, helping them have a life after leaving everything behind. What's your take on the President calling for the full withdrawal of the UN mission?

Do we have the clip of her address? Can you run it?”

“Citizens of the Congo, it is time that we take back control of our nation. For too long have other nations put their nose where it does not belong, and therefore I am calling for the full withdrawal of MONUSCO.

We tried to settle this through the UN, but instead of leaving it to a vote, they vetoed it. Nations of present-day imperialism seek to keep their influence rather than focusing on the issue at hand.

When I was a little girl, the ADF did not exist, there were no radical Islamic groups. Though through our back to back civil wars, nations seeking to reap the land of our resources, rather than helping us in our time of need, cultivated these radical groups from other lands. They gave them the resources to create a Radical Islamic State within the Congo, and to this day they still fund them with the resources to do so.

I am not oblivious to the nations of Tanzania and Kenya who are the middle man to this fight. They supply these groups with the help of no good leaders around the world. We do not have the courtesy of sovereign rights like first world nations do. We are seen as nothing more than money to fill their pockets. You don't see the Chinese and Americans propping up rebels in each other's nations to reap the benefits of their natural resources. We have to fight for our right to be treated like humans.

I still wish to work with the nations of the world to bring peace to Central Africa. It is a common thought that stability in the Congo leads to stability in the rest of Sub-Saharan Africa, and we wish to accomplish that goal, on our terms. It is time for the Congo to take back control, today is the day we kick out the imperialists and declare war on the Radical Islamic State.”

“Yes Ilunga, the President's words seemed to ring out to many of the people in the East. I have heard from many that this is the first time in years that they have had hope that they could return home before they died.”

“Kagame, what do you have to say about the President's address to the public?”

“Well Ilunga, as I did not like the presence of MONUSCO in the country, I see them as a deterrent. They haven't done much at all in their time here, but they are what is stopping the ADF from doing much larger attacks.

The ADF has no international presence other than it's links with other radical groups. They don't have an online presence and have been relatively quiet compared to when they started out in Uganda. This has resulted in a very small recruitment rate for a Muslim country.”

“Mfaume, do you have a response to that? Do you also see MONUSCO as being a deterrent and simply their presence enough to protect lives?”

“No Ilunga I do not. Their presence in the Congo isn't a deterrent and protecting lives they have not done. They haven't deterred the multiple attacks on the city of Beni leaving hundreds dead. Not to mention they didn't show up until the attack was over. Not even the participating countries in MONUSCO gave their condolences, we only received two, one half-hearted one from MONUSCO, and one from the Pope himself. A Muslim nation received Pope Francis’s condolences saying that it was a “shameful silence.

I would say their presence has actually cost more lives than protected, as multiple countries on multiple occasions have been caught using their position in MONUSCO to sell weapons and ammunition to the rebel groups in exchange for goods in the occupied lands.”

“You two have very interesting views. Now some might say that the Congo can not revoke MONUSCO’s right to be in the country as it is a stability mission. That MONUSCO has to do all in its power to complete its mission. Kagame, what do you have to say about this being the leader of a semi-autonomous state?”

“Ilunga, it is our sovereign right to decide who and who can't be in our nation. It is what makes a sovereign nation and not just a puppet of a larger state. Not to mention the first principal of the UN forces is consent from all parties. All principals are reliant on each other, without one the others collapse. I might not agree with Tshiskedi’s judgment, but she is in her full rights as sovereign of the nation. Though just because she is capable of kicking out MONUSCO doesn't mean she should. She could potentially ostracize the Congo from the international community. Just because countries are contributing to MONUSCO today doesn't mean they will participate in whatever plan she has for tomorrow.”

“Wow, what do you have to say about this Mfaume? I know you have connections through your time working with the UN. You haven't talked to the politicians of the world, but you have spoken to the people and those who run humanitarian organizations around the world.”

“This is the Congo, if people want our resources and to actually bring peace, then they will help. We already have seen direct help through China and Uganda and we expect to see help through many other nations. Now that we are getting MONUSCO out of the way, it is just a matter of time tell we bring peace back to the Congo.”

“Thank you Efaume and Kagame, that is all the time we have here on Ilunga Power Hour. We thank you for your intuitive comments tonight. It has been a pleasure having you on and we wish to have you on again.

Thank you for watching this session of Ilunga Power Hour. You can follow us on Facebook and Twitter, give us your take on the news. Remember to stay safe in these tumultuous times, amín.”

The Turkish Diaspora 'prouder than ever' ahead of Olympics

INTERNATIONAL– Since the end of World War Two, over 15 million Turks have found themselves living outside of the borders of Turkey. Turkish immigration most notably began to pick up in 1948 when the United States and Turkey signed a guest worker program. Initially it intended for nearly 100,000 Turkish workers to settle in the American South, filling in jobs left behind by African-Americans who had fled to the north or the west coast. The 1960s Turkish-Americans had only reached half a million, but the signing of the Immigration and Nationality Act allowed for many Turks who had settled in the United States to bring family over. Many given priority by US immigration due to the already existing Turkish community in certain regions, it being argued that it was easier to integrate Turkish migrants than others.

Despite their parents having worked low skilled jobs, the first generation of Turks born on American soil benefited greatly from the Turkish boom in 1969. The rise of the Turks from the bottom of the social class, to the middle class in a single generation has resulted in the Turkish community being one of the most integrated into American society. With Turkish-American also having one of the highest turnout in any American community, with a 2016 poll showing that 85% of eligible Turkish-Americans voted that year. By the early 2000s over four million Americans held dual citizenship with Turkey, with the number of those who have Turkish genetics the United States expected to be anywhere from 5-12 million. Korea is one of the few nations outside of the 'west' to have a large Turkish community, with the largest Turkish community in East Asia. With over 50,000 Turks calling Korea home due to the two nations 'blue visa' policy between each other. Japan and China both have reported anywhere from 8,000-30,000 Turks respectively. The Kongo also holds the second largest Turkish Diaspora, after the United States with nearly 900,00 Turks. Most living in the Kongo since colonial times, other either mixed Turkish-Kongolese, or recent migrants.

It is in Europe that Turkish immigration has seen a decline in recent years, with the average population of Turks in Western European countries being anywhere from 20,000 to 50,000. Germany, and France holding the second and third largest respectively, with the UK having about 60,000 Turks. Those of Turkish descent have found some success in Europe, most notably British Prime Minister Boris Johnson who when becoming Prime Minister told TRT Euro

"My election as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, as the descendant of a Turkish family shows that anyone who works hard and loves this country can achieve great things." and would go onto say the following in Turkish when he praised the Turkish Republic "great country, with great people and an important partner to the United Kingdom."

Similar sentiments have been seen from the Turkish Diaspora across the world, many wishing to see increased cooperation of the countries they have called home with the motherland. Especially as Turkey continues to rise to a more prominent position on the global stage, with a new wave of Turkish Nationalism filling in the new generation, something that did not go unnoticed before the ban of TikTok in Turkey, the site saw #DunyaLiderTurkiye (#WorldLeaderTurkey) trend on its international page for multiple hours a day constantly. Turkish Rapper Murda commented on this situation while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! after the release of 'Made in Turkey' with Ezhel that had become the first Turkish song to break through into the American mainstream.

'The Turks, we are an interesting people. We want to be heard, we see how the Turkish Government is becoming a world leader. We feel like we have done a part in that, even if I am sitting in my Hollywood studio rapping. Right now we all feel part of Turkey's accomplishments, Galatasaray winning the Champions League, the fight against Covid, hosting the Olympics. Right now we feel unstoppable, feels incredible.'

'So like weed?' Kimmel would reply to lighten the mood, Murda laughed along to the joke. Making a gesture of lighting a joint with his hands, as the two would resume the interview as normal.

Ankara prepares to host the 2020 NATO Summit

Ankara Exhibition Center, host of NATO Summit / TRT Haber

ANKARA – Though millions will be travelling to Turkey from across the world for the Olympics, thousands will also be travelling to Ankara for the 2020 NATO Summit. With multiple hot button issues on the table set to the discussed between member states. Ranging from Israeli membership in NATO, all the way to the current situation in Bosnia.

NATO Secretary General Hüseyin Diriöz has also confirmed that all Major non-NATO ally nations have been invited to the NATO Summit in Ankara, including Israel. Despite Israel's addition to the summit garnering mixed reactions in Turkey, it seems that many nations will go ahead with Israeli inclusion in the summit. Prime Minister Mansur Yavaş however called on highlighting Korea's attendance in the NATO Summit as a testament to how far Turkey and Korea have come since the 50s.

The first topic of Israeli membership in NATO has been one that has not only divided the alliance, but also each nation down the middle. Some viewing Israeli membership as a positive, others as too much of a risk to let on. Some members of the opposition across NATO memberstates have accused NATO members of falling into Israels trap, while governments and opposition voicing they are opposed to Israeli membership have been caused of antisemitism and fear of Israel's enemy's.

Another key issue at the summit discussed at the summit will be the situation in Bosnia, as the Turkish government backed the revolutionary government of Sifet Podžić that restored democratic rule to Bosnia. With assistance of the Turkish Armed Forces, Korean Diplomatic Experts, and international support from Turkey's allies. Former President, who has now been labelled rightfully so as a traitor, Duran Izetbegović is currently on the run from the Turkish Armed Forces and Bosnian Republican Forces.

The Turkish Armed Forces has seized control of military instillation previously held by held by Egypt, and later a group called the Bosnian Islamic Legion according to sources in the Bosnian opposition. Hulusi Akar confirmed that Turkey would begin operating permanent military bases out of these former facilities. With Turkey establishing up to six military bases in Bosnia to ensure the 'retraining, reconstruction, and re-educaiton' of the Bosnian Army, so that the people's democratic will can be protected for generations to come.

Many Bosnian's of all origins greeted Turkish troops with a hero's welcome. Very similar to scenes seen in Bosnia during the Bosnian War, when Turkish soldiers arrived as the peacemakers. Today though thousands across Bosnia celebrate the Turkish liberation of Bosnian democracy.

Egyptian radicals storm Turkish Embassy / TRT Arşiv
Turkish-Egyptian relations since the 30 Ekim (October) Crisis

KAHİRE – It was last on the 28th of October in 1973 when Turkey operated diplomatic missions inside of Egypt, the last time the embassy in Kahire closed to the public on the night of the 28th would be the last time that it would ever open its doors. Being closed on the 29th in observation of Republic Day, commemorating the establishment of the Turkish Republic. Only essential staff had been working that night, with most at home celebrating. By 1:00 only a people, six to be exact, were left at the embassy. Excluding security. This did not stop large chants of 'Death to Turkey' and 'Down with the Zionists' being shouted outside the surrounded embassy, with signs in Arabic reading for the destruction of Turkey and Israel. Many inspired by the lectures of radical Islamist Abdullah Abul'Abbas, a speaker who corrupted the minds of the Egyptian youth for generation to come, were outraged at Turkey over President Alparslan Türkeş opening the first Turkish Embassy in Tel Aviv earlier that month. Despite pleas from the Arab World to not do so, especially in the aftermath of the embarrassing six day war. Those chanting outside the embassy would turn violent by sun rise, storming the embassy with all of its staff taken hostage by the morning call to prayer.

This incident would go down as the 30 Ekim Crisis in Turkey, as it would be followed by 12 days of near war between Turkey and Egypt. Ankara threatening a full blown invasion of Egypt if the embassy workers had not been returned, even escalating the situation when Turkey seized the Egyptian diplomatic missions in Turkey on the 3rd of November. Transferring their control over to the Korean Empire in 1992, which it remains in to this day.

On the 10th of November in 1973, the 50th anniversary of the passing of the Eternal President. A massive gathering was held at his Mausoleum, Anıtkabir, where the President Alparslan Türkeş called on the Eternal President's blessing. Stating at the time that 'to defend our own we are preparing the challenge the world once again, show us your guidance in this time of crisis. It was on the 11th of November 1973 that with both navies minutes away from clashing, Egypt agreed to return the Turkish diplomats. With both nations agreeing to allow each other to collect all files left behind at the embassies, attempts had been made since the early 2000s to re-establish diplomatic ties between the two nations, but all have seemed to fall through so far. That was until today it was announced that all diplomatic missions would be resumed in Egypt, with Turkey having its embassy in Kahire returned to Turkish control. This came after the Egyptian withdrawal from Bosnia, and the subsequent Turkish-Bosnian liberation of democracy that is currently underway in the country. Many however in the opposition have warned the Akşener government that they are making a mistake, and that Egypt will try to take Turks hostage once again. President Akşener's press secretary was quick to respond to these statements from the opposition, stating that 'Ankara will never allow it to happen again'.

帝国日本だより | Teikoku Nihonda yori | News from Imperial Japan

Special Report: Chaos in the LDP / 2020 Tokyo Gubernatorial Election / & more

Japan has been experiencing several transformations over the last couple of days. First, the Liberal Democratic Party has seen itself become a hotbed of conflict between its' members. First, as of late many have begun to criticize Abe's move to espouse a platform of heightened security for Japan whilst simultaneously securing pacts with the Pattaya Alliance, notable members of which include China & Russia. Starting with the Prime Ministers move in which he fully supported the reformation of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. Then, Prime Minister Abe would go on to champion the bill, 'The Revitalization of the Imperial Armed Forces' which was aimed at rapidly expanding the capabilities & strength of the newly reformed Imperial Armed Forces.

However, this would contrast with Japans diplomatic moves to secure peace with China & Russia. Starting with Japanese Affiliation with the Pattaya Alliance as an observer, to symbolize the agreement between Japan & China to not declare war on each other & their commitment to peace & stability within Asia. Then, Japan would hold a summit with Russia in Tokyo where Russian President Putin would speak with Prime Minister Abe over the status of the Kuril Islands. A negotiation which ultimately proved fruitful between the countries as dialogue was began regarding the historical Soviet–Japanese Joint Declaration of 1956 wherein Article 9, specifically, stipulated the following:

"...for the continuation of negotiations for the conclusion of a peace treaty after the restoration of diplomatic relations between the countries and further stipulated, that "in this connexion, the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, desiring to meet the wishes of Japan and taking into consideration the interests of the Japanese State, agrees to transfer to Japan the Habomai Islands and the island of Shikoton, the actual transfer of these islands to Japan to take place after the conclusion of a Peace Treaty between the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and Japan."

Although it would seem the terms of the treaty had concluded, a threat made by the United States at the time to keep the island of Okinawa prevented the negotiation of such a treaty. Regardless, this was seen as a step in the right direction by Abe's Cabinet. However, now that the budget has begun to be affected with drawbacks being made to account for the rise in expenditure for the Armed Forces. Disagreement has begun to unfold between Party Members. Some believe that the Armed Forces should be demobilized once more amidst the peace secured with China & Russia. Thereby making the Armed Forces an unnecessary source of high spending. While others maintain that the presence of North Korea within the Region & the initiation of the Burmese War necessitates a strong presence within Japan.

This was further exacerbated when the Zhen Dynasty announced it's colonial neutralisation mandate, followed by the developments in the Burmese War & concluded with the announcement of full Japanese membership in the Pattaya Alliance once amendments were made that modified the Alliance to be more reasonable to Japanese interests. As Debate raged within the Party & other Parties began to take advantage of such conflict like the N-Koku led by Takashi Tachibana.

As all of this occurred, Abe looked for a way to unify his party & stave off the wave of attacks from other parties. Soon he delivered an announcement which proved interesting, his decision to call a snap election. He released the following statement to justify it,

"I believe a snap election could be a way to garner the view of the Party on my handling of COVID-19'

At first a shock, some believe that this is a sly move by Prime Minister Abe to unify the Party. The general consensus amongst the LDP on COVID-19 in Japan has been that the Prime Minister has handled it well given the situations in other countries. Thus why Abe believed it would be a good way to ensure the Party diverts its interests from the debate.

As the election went underway, the Capital underwent its own elections. The 2020 Tokyo Gubernatorial Election. Even at the start, strong showings have been seen from the incumbent Yuriko Koike, followed by Kenji Utsunomiya as an independent, in 3rd is Tarō Yamamoto under the Reiwa Shinsengumi, followed in a big shock to many by Takashi Tachibana under the Horiemon New, in 4th is Taisuke Ono as an independent, followed last shockingly by Makoto Sakurai under the Japan First Party. Although the first three were not too surprising, the big upset by Takashi Tachibana's Party against the other two came as quite a shock. Many did not believe Tachibana's Party was serious enough to gain such a large following. Nonetheless, the "meme lord 9000" as many on the internet call him has continued to promulgate his Party furiously in the race. Reiterating that he is here to ensure the will of the people are seen against the corrupt, & despotic wishes of the Central Government who manipulate the people through the NHK or National Broadcasting Organization of Japan.

    Celebration of Bastille Day

Chancellor Angela Merkel has made her way to Paris for Bastille Day in celebration of the French Republic; not only to watch the parade but also to meet with her French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. Merkel is expected to bring up European cooperation, as well as grievances with Bosnia and the issues that occurred in Egypt. Alongside these, Merkel is expected to discuss the possibility of an Israeli membership into NATO. Which Germany supports on the grounds of Mediterranean security and stability. Berlin has been in discussion with Jerusalem, and Germany will be formally taking the stance of recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. The Department of Foreign Affairs also has stated that they seek a two state solution that stands on equal grounds; but also Germany or any other state was in a position to deny Israel the political legitimacy is was owed by the UN and its neighbors who have constantly questioned and threatened its security.

Germany will be formally initiating its defensive increasement programme, where the German Defense Forces are set to take on more task and a bigger role in the defense of Europe after the events that took place in Bosnia. Berlin also intends in playing a much larger role in mitigating conflict in the region between several states. As Bosnia has been the center of regional conflict in recent weeks, Germany is attempting to open dialogue between Europe and Sarajevo as to ensure that no conflict arise in the future. Although there have been resistance as expected, Germany will be taking proper measures as to ensure that there is some form of peace between Bosnia and its neighbors; no matter how unstable. Berlin has stated the current situation of a potential economic turmoil in the Balkan due to belligerence from its countries is unacceptable, and is detrimental to the growth of the region and Europe as a whole.
As a part of its defensive increasement programme; Germany will also be working in strengthening the defensive capabilities of its neighbors. Primarily through a Good-will donation mission, where Germany is expected to donate equipment to many EU members. Though this Good-will donation is only meant for smaller European economies, and are not intended for major economies. Although certain countries are to be an exception, primarily those in the East and the Balkans; countries such as Poland, Greece and Finland qualify for a Good-will donation despite not being small economies.

News from the United States

United States Government exercises harsh measurements against Venezuela

Recently, as President Trump flew off to France to participate in Bastille Day. He released statements on social media indicating the tough stance of the U.S. Government on Venezuela & Allies as seen below:

"Just finished talking with select members of the Government. U.S. is gonna make sure the illegitimate Dictator in Venezuela feels some pressure!"

"Apparently Venezuela has friends coming in boats. I'm sure they won't mind the Navy showing off U.S. power!"

This was then corresponded by several articles from Fox News. In the articles, they explained that the U.S. Government would be placing new sanctions on several unnamed companies who were found to still be trading with the Government. These entities were not named & not identified whether they were domestic or foreign. However, one thing was for certain. U.S. relations with Iran continued their icy drift. After news arrived to the U.S. of Iranian Oil Tankers docking within the port of Caracas to supposedly joyous crowds (the authenticity of which has been rebuked by President Trump & several news outlets like Fox).

Secretary of Defense, Jim 'Mad Dog' Mattis, announced that the U.S. would ensure that the Maduro Regime continued to be ostracized. But he did not elaborate much further. Tucker Carlson, a famous personality at Fox, addressed the situation. He stated,

"I believe the South Americans, if you can even call them that, or Venezuelans as they call themselves. Are biding their time. Soon President Trump will show them the might of the United States. The Amazing Land of Freedom! They will feel the wrath of the White, Red & Blue!"

This view reflected much of the Conservative populace in America, even drawing support from the Hispanic Community within the U.S. wherein several figures came out to denounce Maduro on social media.

NOTE: This information is considered Unknown information to the player base at large unless such information is released or disclosed to other players.
A directive from the Secretary of Defense,

"The U.S. Navy is to deploy a number of ships (leaving it vague for now as I haven't finished military FB to account for stats & stuff) to begin intercepting any more foreign ships arriving to Venezuela. Currently, we believe the Iranians are the only foreign entity operating within the Region (leaving whether to destroy them or simply turn them away as blank since need to coordinate this further)"

Northern Highway project announced, northernmost in Europe.

    | Oslo - The northern areas of Denmark, are some of the most inhospitable regions on the planet, with temperature often plummeting beyond zero degrees. Narvik, one of the most populous in the region, was also an important naval harbor for the Danish Northern Fleet, and was also the site of the famous Battle of Narvik between British, Danish and German forces. The small yet strategic town holds the Iron Ore Line, a railway networks which connects to Sweden, and was used to import ore overseas. Today, the rail exists as a tourist attraction, and remnants of the German occupations could still be seen, such as the missing line approximately 10km outside of Narvik, which was destroyed by Danish paratroopers in 1943 during Operation Polar. While the areas are mostly inhabited, the government had made plans to build a highway line, stretching from Bodo to all the way to Vadso. Its main challenges would be the terrain. The northern areas are characterised as mountainous, and fjords also blocks any form of a straight path. In total, it would roughly be 807km long, although real calculations would suggest the number might be higher due to the mountainous terrain.

The Danish National Highway Company, in charge of most highways in the country, was appointed by the government itself to spearhead this project. The new highway would be connected to the Central Line, which began in Trondheim and ends in Bodo. Upon completion, the new northern highway would complete the Norwegian highway lines, which would boost interconnectivity within the Norwegian provinces. Already 10,600 workers volunteered, making it one of the largest project ever conducted on Danish history, second only to the construction of the Oslo-Narvik rail line in 1856. The queen herself, made a surprising appearence yesterday in Bodo, citing her support for the construction of the line. In any case, the highway is expected to finish by atleast 2024 or 2025, depending on climatic situation. It would also be the northernmost highway in Europe, and possibly the most extreme considering the heavy terrain which exists in every corner of the highway.

President İsmet İnönü: 'If only we could have retained the Kongo in the Lausanne.'

Kongo

Cumhurbaşkanı İsmet İnönü: ''Keşke Kongo'yu Lozan'da koruyabilseydik.'

KONGO

Türkongolu aviator Abdul Mehmet in Ottoman Air Force, 1914 / Presidential Ottoman Archives

The history of the Turkish Kongo, and the Türkongolu (Turkonglese)

INTERNATIONAL– It was in the 1500s that Ottoman explores first arrived in the Kongo, in what was then known as Tchiowa, now known as Tiçiğua. An early port city that would become the capital of the Ottoman Empire's expeditions in the region, later the area that would be come known as the Turkish Congo would be settled by Turks from Anatolia. Mostly in the coastal regions of Tiçiğua though. The Ottoman Empire's

From the early 1950s, till the 1980s mass Turkish migration was seen to the Untied States. This left many jobs in Turkey abandoned, causing for Turkey to open itself up to immigration from nations like the Congo, Korea, Iran, and regions of the Turkic World that at the time were still occupied by the Soviets. Most of these positions though were filled by the Türkongolu, who today number around 3.6 million in Turkey. With anywhere from 6-8 million living back in the Kongo.

The Türkongolu refer to those of mixed Ottoman and Konogolese background that lived in the Kongo up until the Ottoman loss of the Congo in 1918 to the French. Though today the term more widely refers to all of mixed African and Turkish ancestry. Nearly one million Turks live in the Kongo, most in the city of Tiçiğua which has been described as 'Africa's İzmir'. Tiçiğua to this day is the top tourist destination for Turks visiting Africa, as not only is the Turkish Manat the preferred currency in the region. The native language of many in the region known as 'Turkish Kongo' is Türkongolu, it is a mixture of 1800s Ottoman with heavy influences from the French language due to French rule from 1918-1960. Until the late 50s the Türkongolu was written in the old Ottoman script, but would switch to the Latin alphabet like Turkish had in a few decades prior. Most Türkongolu who live in the Kongo tend to speak Turkongolese, Turkish, French or English, and a fourth language of their tribe. Turkongolese is mostly understood in Turkey, with with most provinces even offering services in Turkongolese. Especially in the major cities.

In the Kongo today many compare the nations different colonial rules, many always hailing the works the Ottomans had done to preserve the local culture. As well advance the local communities, with the actions of the French from 1918-1960 according to many Kongolese set the nation back 'decades'. Many in the nation believing that if the French had not 'raped the Kongo for its own benefit' that the Turkish Kongo by itself would be on par with the nations of Europe. Though at home success did not come till the 1970s, many found success in Turkey as early as World War One.

The most famous Türkongolu in history has been Abdul Mehmet, born in 1883 in İzmir as the child of a mixed family that had migrated to the motherland in the early 1870s. He would attend one of the Ottoman Naval Academies known as 'Haddehâne Mektebi', before he would join the navy. Marrying a Turkish woman in 1911 named Hatice, he would settle in İstanbul, but in 1914 he would once again join the Ottoman Armed Forces to fight for the Empire. Though this time he had been asked to join the newly founded Air Force, reaching the rank of Yüzbaşı (Captain). Recognized by most in the world today as the first black fighter pilot, joining Sabiha Gökçen (the first female fighter pilot) as another Turk leading the world in firsts in aviation. Abdul Mehmet would also fight in the Turkish War of Independence in the Turkish Air Force, though he would retire from the Armed Forces after the victory of the Mustafa Kemal and the Turks in the War of Independence. After retiring he would serve as an advisor to the Eternal President Mustafa Kemal Atatürk from 1925-1938, and would be an advisor to every President till 1961 when he retired due to old age.

Today the story of Abdul Mehmet is thought across schools in Turkey, as well as the Kongo, of what Turkey represents to the world. A land of hope and opportunity for all, when the ideals of the Turkish spirit is embraced of course.

How Salih Enveroğlu changed Turkish Football forever

Salih Enveroğlu appears at Galatasaray's Champions League game in London 2013 / TRT Sports

FOOTBALL – It was in 2011 that Salih Enveroğlu acquired his first football team in the form of Galatasaray, at the time not many knew what to expect. Galatasaray had not become Champions in Turkey since 2004, and were on the verge of regulation to the second division for the first time in history. The team in economic ruin, with millions of Dollars owed in debt. The era's Galatasaray President Adnan Polat sold the team to Salih Enveroğlu for a price of only 80 million USD, though he would have to spend over 40 million USD to wipe the teams debt alone. By the end of the 2011-2012 season nearly 300 million USD had been spent on the team. Since then nearly five billion Manat's (3.5 billion USD) have been spent on the team, including a new stadium, new training facility, and in players. In the 2019-2020 season Galatasaray would go onto win the UEFA Champions League, as well as the subsequent UEFA Super Cup. Raising both trophy's in its own stadium.

Since then seven Turkish teams have been purchased by companies, all foreign. It was first in 2014 that Samsung purchased İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor, renaming the team to Samsung Başakşehir F.K., the team would go onto win the 2017-2018 Super Lig itself. Winning the Turkish Cup in 2014-2015, and 2017-2018. Coming in second in the Super Lig this year, only four points behind the Champions Galatasaray. In 2017 Osmanlıspor would be purchased by BMW, and since then has become a notable power in the Turkish Cup, even knocking out Galatasaray in the semi finals of the 2017-2018 Turkish Cup.

Gustave Baran, a French millionaire of Kurdish descent, announced he was purchasing Diyarbakırspor in 2018. That year the team would Turkish player of Kurdish descent Eren Derdiyok from Galatasaray, this signing go would result in the team selling over 20 million jerseys of with Derdiyok's name on it across the world. Selling more jerseys than any other team that season in Turkey, coming in third behind Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe.

Over the last few weeks multiple companies have announced their purchase of Turkish Clubs. First it was Yum! Brands who announced the purchase of Göztepe S.K., coming a few weeks after the company had announced it would be expanding the operations of all its fast food chains to Turkey. Including Taco Bell, which has been a favorite of the Turkish Diaspora in the United States. Meanwhile Fenerbahçe, who in the past had been extremely critical of Galatasaray 'selling out', was sold to the British Sloan Group. Something that has been met with mix reaction by fans, but many have been hopeful given what it did for Galatasaray over the last decade.

Most interesting Beşiktaş, which has been known as a team of the working class, announced it had been purchased by Huawei. Though most expecting backlash from Beşiktaş fans, most have embraced the Huawei purchase of the team. Even #Beşiktaşİşçispor (BeşiktaşWorkerSport) trending on Beşiktaş fan pages. A sign of optimism across all the league as the worlds eyes seem to grow ever increasingly on the Turkish League. Most recently rumors have been surfacing that the Shah of Iran is interesting in purchasing Trabzonspor, with the Shah's Twitter page following the team earlier today.

Many accredit this sudden investment in the Turkish League on two separate factors. First being the success of Galatasaray on the European Stage, especially as it won the Champions League this year. Which partially has been correct, but the second and largest reason has been the emphasis put on Enveroğlu into the league. Currently the Super Lig is available in every single country that operates Enver TV in, with most games being televised live and on demand as well on Enver TV. It has made the league accessible to markets never before accessed, with the foreign market now making up nearly 40% of revenue in recent years. With Turkish League expected now expected to be worth 85.2 billion Manat (60 billion USD) by the end of the 2020-2021 season, many wonder what will be next in the Turkish League as it continues to be Europe's fastest growing league.

Enver University welcome video in Mandarin / Enver TV
Enver University's foreign students outnumber Turkish students

İSTANBUL – Since its establishment in 1969 a business school in İstanbul's Başakşehir district, the school as seen massive change. It was a first of its kind system, with all four years at the institutions either being offered in English, French, or Turkish. In Turkey most schools offer all four years in a foreign language, but never before had a single school offered three different languages across all departments. With the schools overall expansion, and foreign communities in Turkey. The first expansion to the school came in 1989 when it announced that it would begin offering all four years in Korean. In 2003 all four years began to be offered for the first time in German, and in 2016 Farsi joined the list of languages offered across all four years in every department. The University continues to offer two years of preparation for any student who wish to learn a new language, students who do not meet requirements for Turkish are required to take Turkish lessons for two of their four years. Most recently Enver University announced its biggest language expansion in 2018 which would go into effect for the 2020-2021 school year, this would include all four years at Enver University now being offered in Arabic and Mandarin. Each department having its own campus in across the district of Başakşehir, all connected by the University's metro system, With each language having its own building on that departments campus. The Universities rich bilingual history, as well as its extremely competitive price of 50,000 Manat (34k USD) over four years for foreign students has made it extremely attractive over the last two decades. With Arabic and Mandarin now added, an additional estimated 30,000 new foreign students being accepted for both languages departments respectively this year this has give Enver University the largest foreign student population than any other school in Turkey.

Now the school set to begin the 2020-2021 school yeah with 525,000 total students, foreign students now make are 66% (350,200) of those students, with Turkish students making up the remainder. However Turkish continues to be the second most preferred language of study at the University behind English. Followed by Korean, and French. Most recently Farsi overtook German as the most studied in language at the University, with German still close behind. The newly added Mandarin and Arabic sections of the University now make up 11% of the student base.

Opposition questions budget changes to UK police during Chancellor's speech

On Monday, Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak delivered a speech to the House of Commons, detailing the Government's plan to provide more funding for law enforcement in the United Kingdom. Sunak, who is seen as Prime Minister Boris Johnson's most powerful political ally, delivered his plan to give additional funding to law enforcement to "tackle serious crime" and "end the crime epidemic in Britain's major cities." The Chancellor emphasized the Prime Minister's position that the Government would have a tough policy on crime, especially violent ones such as stabbings, robberies, shootings, and other major crimes. Sunak went on to say that the additional funding would go toward the recruitment of some 5,000 additional police officers across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Funding would also go toward the National Crime Agency to support local police forces in combating organized crime and tackle the crisis.

Keir Starmer, the leader of the Opposition questioned why the government wanted to focus on "serious crime" rather than pushing for the enforcement of UK laws in general. "Is the central government planning to push for selective enforce the laws of the land?" Mr. Starmer asked following Sunak's speech, adding whether the Prime Minister planned to push for his "conservative conspiracy theories" describing how UK police agencies were going after "hateful persons such as Tommy Robinson or Mark Meechan, who the Prime Minister has supported in the past."
In response to the question, Mr. Sunak explained that the Government was providing funding to agencies across the UK in general, with the primary focus being that it be used for recruitment and upgrades.

"This Government's plan is to end the wave of crime across the board in Britain. Our plan facilitates this by increasing funding to struggling departments such as the London Metropolitan Police." The Chancellor explained, adding that previous governments had stripped funding from police, "sparking a crisis that we need to solve."

The government's full funding plan for the police will see an additional Ł2 billion spent on law enforcement. These funds will go primarily for recruitment, upgrades to police equipment, better training, and extra benefits for police officers working in especially dangerous areas. According to the government, this is the first phase of a plan to overhaul UK police, in order to "increase safety across the country."

Khabarovsk Oblast Municipal District, 1955 hours
======================================================================================

An aged black automobile travelled slowly down the main street of Khabarovsk’s administrative square. The sun still hung low in the sky, all the warmth had been drained from it now and the stale grey of dusk had rolled in over the city. The government officials and Party functionaries that had milled around noisily on their way back home only minutes ago were long gone by now. The streets had emptied of cars, the distant droning of engines and the shouting of bureaucrats at bars blocks away were the only reminders of life.

The black car stopped, its engine coughing black fumes for a brief moment. Two men stepped out, dressed in tanned overalls and thick leather jackboots. Both men were of identical size and build, their faces obscured by surgical masks and cloth caps drawn down over their eyes. They made their way in silence to the wide double doors of the regional Soviet building, nodding to the interior ministry guard who nodded in response and held open the door. The two men entered, the guard rushed off down a nearby corridor, his thick-soled boots loudly reverberating across the entrance hall. Most of the lights had been turned off by now, leaving the hall bathed in the same stale light as outside. The two men ascended the central marble staircase, finding themselves before another double door. One of them knocked.

A young female secretary answered the door, her stockings bunched halfway down her legs.

“Good evening ma’am, my colleague and I represent the Committee for State Security. We’ve a few questions for your… boss. Is Governor Furgal here?” One of the men asked politely, taking his cap off to look her in the eyes. She flushed red for a moment as she caught his tone, before collecting herself.

“State Security? What do you whores want with me?” Segey Furgal called out from the next room. He sidled out into view, his shirt untucked and jacket tied around his waist.

“We just want to ask a few questions. Would you mind if we use your office?” The other man said calmly. Furgal sighed and opened the far door to his office. The two agents walked over. One slowly but firmly grabbed Furgal’s wrists and yanked him forward, tying his arms together with a zip tie. The governor shrieked and started to struggle desperately, kicking the air and twisting his shoulders. The other agent took out a black plastic bag and pulled it over the man’s head. The young secretary shook in horror, her mouth open in a noiseless scream as she backed into a corner of the room.

“Sergey Furgal, you are under arrest for two counts of murder, one of attempted murder, three counts of embezzlement of public funds and six of corruption.” The agent clinging to Furgal’s wrists said loudly, his voice not revealing any emotion. The two men pushed and dragged Furgal out of the room and down the stairs. A single high-pitched scream went on all the way down, muffled by the bag. The scream was joined by more emanating from somewhere beneath the ground.

The Interior Ministry guard rushed up to the agents with their prisoner. He handed one of the men a plastic case, filled with videotapes. The agent dropped the case to the ground and crushed it with his boot.

Night had fallen outside. Six unmarked trucks were parked silently in the square. Dozens of black-clad soldiers stood by them, their faces covered by surgical masks and tight-fitted helmets, most clinging to loaded rifles. Their breast pockets were emblazoned with a number:

Regional Governor Arrested After Decade Long Investigation by KGB and Militsiya

======================================================================================

Sergey Furgal, Governor of the Khabarovsk region in the Eurasian far-East, was arrested last night following a tipoff from one of his staff. Furgal’s connections to the Mafia prior to his entrance to politics have long been suspected by his allies and opponents alike, however the extent of his involvement in their activities has long gone unsubstantiated. In the last week however, that has changed significantly. A senior member of the Governor’s staff, who claimed to have been a close relation of Furgal’s, reported to a local Militsiya department that Furgal had held several unexplained and unauthorized meetings in the previous week with a man known to the Interior Ministry as a significant figure in the region’s organized crime. Since then almost 25 million rubles haves seemingly been siphoned from local government accounts.

Interviews with currently imprisoned Mafia members have confirmed that this individual was involved in assisting Furgal in the assisination of at least 4 businessmen and AUPF party members between 2004 and 2007. Six other individuals were arrested on the same day as Furgal in connection with these charges.

Furgal’s trial is likely to occur next month at the latest. Chief of Khabarovsk region Militsiya has been recorded as claiming: “The best [Furgal] can hope for is hard labour for the rest of his life, maybe he’d find fulfillment that way.”

The decision to arrest Furgal has not been without controversy. The Governor was elected in 2018 in what has been described as a protest vote from both the far-left and far-right. The bravado and charisma expressed by Furgal earned him consistent popularity during the 2018 Fareastern District election campaigns, granting the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) its second governorship and first majority in an Oblast Soviet. However, his performance has waned since the election season, with approval ratings dropping from nearly 70% in late 2018 to less than 40%. His arrest has led LDP leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a long-time political rival of President Putin, to accuse the AUPF of a: “Flippant, tyrannical and barbaric disregard of Russia’s democratic institutions”. Zhirinovsky went on to threaten the resignation of the party as a whole out of “disgrace with the state’s attacks on me and my colleagues”.

The Liberal Democratic Party rose to prominence in the aftermath of Mikhail Gorbachev’s New Union Treaty and the 1992 recession. The party has a focus on revanchavistic imperialism, the restoration of the Russian Empire, the elevation of the Russian ethnicity and the Russian Orthodox Church above all other races and faiths of the Union. Zhirinovsky’s charisma, belligerence and consistently outrageous political attitudes attracted many who were left jobless by privatization and nostalgic for the distant past. Since Putin’s ascension to the Presidency in 2003, Zhirinovsky has repeatedly referred to himself as “The Nevsky to Putin’s Stalin” (though he declined to comment when asked what this meant). While the party’s popularity has declined since the mid-90s, it remains a significant opposition organization and is often categorized as a far-right counterpart to the Eurasian Communist Party.

President Putin spoke briefly to a reporter from the TASS news agency early today, stating: “While I have a great deal of respect for Mr Zhirinovsky, his comments are ironic for a man whose views run so contrary to the Eurasian constitution. I’ve read it myself; the evidence against Furgal was too much for District law enforcement to ignore. I know this is rather overstated, but Zhirinovsky’s so called Imperial nostalgia is far more in line with the fascists of Europe and America than anything this civilization has produced”.

2020 İstanbul Opening Ceremony

Over 100,000 packed the Atatürk Olympic Stadium (also known as Atatürk-Ali Sami Yen Stadium), the side of the stadium facing the old city slightly curved. Allowing for the cities historic landmarks to act as scenery within the stadium. The football pitch the stadium is known for covered with a massive LED stage, with a circular path going around it for the Parade of Nations and opening ceremony. On the LED stage, the countdown finally begins at 00:59, with each second that drops only growing the anticipation. As the numbers reach the final 10, they fade out as a text reading 'In memory of the Eternal President Mustafa Kemal Atatürk' appears. Including a picture of the Eternal President. Both fade out as the final numbers on the countdown are visible again, only momentary with a few seconds left. Over 20,000 fireworks proceed to light up the İstanbul skyline as the countdown finally reaches zero, the stadium itself going dark as those taking part in the opening ceremony move into place. Thousands break into a frenzy of applause in the stadium, millions across the city cheering at the sight of the fireworks. Afterward promo package for the Olympics plays, including a scene showing multiple children from across the world during the video coming across the spirits of Turkic mythological figures. Asena, the wolf, guiding them out of a seemingly dark cave into the clear plains of Anatolia.

The lights finally coming back up in the stadium, the LED stagedisplaying a field, very reminiscent to the plains of the steppes. In the center stands a man by himself, holding a dombra (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dombra) and dressed in traditional Turkic garb. Beginning to play the dombra, each movement of its strings speeding up as similarly dressed in traditional Turkic garb, though on horseback, start doing rounds around the track. A total of 16 men, each holding up one of the flags of the 16 Great Turkic Empires, their garb similar to that of the nations flag they are holding. Soon the the field, the same children are seen following (whatever this https://i.imgur.com/2JQBm8u.png is called, but as a wolf). The children watch as others dressed in similar nomadic garb join the man in the center, taking part in the choreographed display as thousands of actors begin to fill the LED stage. The music begins to change from the traditional nomadic style as drums beat, Ottoman Drums only found on the Mehter Teams, the Mehter team soon become visible as a boat is dragged onto the LED stage. Recreating Fatih Sultan Mehmet's order to have the Ottomans carry boats over land during the siege of İstanbul in 1453. The Mehter team begins making its way off the boat, as those wearing traditional garb slowly start to board the boat, with now those dressed in Ottoman era garb coming off the boat in their place. Those on the stage soon bring an end to the performance, allowing for those in attendance to applaud as they reached the break in the part.

The camera's pan over to the viewing deck set up with all the world leaders. Including heads of states ranging from President Trump, the Queen Elizabeth II, Ardeshir Shah, and much more. Almost every nations being represented by their head of state at the ceremony. The announcer begins to speak saying 'Please welcome the President of the Turkish Republic, Meral Akşener' (first in French, then English, then Turkish). Cheers break out once more as the opening ceremony now resumes.

Back on the field, everyone was now in place. The ceremony continues, the Mehter band beginning to play the theme 'Senden daha güzel' on their Mehter sets (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bfkyXtuIXk). Thousands more fill the stage in a performance of pure athletic ability, and the utmost choreography. Though the mood does change in the display as the garb of the people begin to modernize, symbolizing the change of time. Reaching the early 1910s before hundreds wearing 'western uniforms' (1910s British, Italian, French, Greek) fill the stage. The Turks previously on the stage no longer, as their 'western' counterparts continue the choreography, but at a much slower pace. Symbolizing the occupation of İstanbul from 1918-1923 after WW1. This time a replica of the 'Bandırma' (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_Band%C4%B1rma), is seen entering the stage. Coming out of it thousands dressed in now modern Turkish garb, once again filling up the stage, the city liberated. As the Olympic theme now continues but in its modern form. Those dressed in western, ottoman, and nomadic garb also filling up the stage for the section of the opening ceremony. Finally they reach the end as fireworks once again light up the sky. The Mehter band begins to play an orchestral variation of 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXZMIC-Z-XA'.

Once again the speaker comes on the microphone, speaking his message first in French before repeating it in English and Turkish. Welcoming eight different athletes, all previously competing for the Turkish Olympic Team in the past. Winning multiple gold metals for the country. They march toward a massive flagpole, carrying a Turkish flag in between them. At the flagpole await multiple men dressed in military garb to honor those fighting in Bosnia, as they connect the flag to the pole. The speaker, once again in the same order of languages, asks everyone to rise for the Turkish Anthem (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y75Km7dlt94).

After the anthem, each national team began to make its entrance. Including Greece who went on first, due to Olympic tradition, despite starting with Y in the Turkish alphabet. Afterward Afghanistan made its way onto the stage, followed by Iran who was met by a relatively warm reaction. Following Iran it was the Germans, then the Americans who were also met by a warm reaction. The list would go on through the A's until Azerbaijan was reached, the first Turkic country. The LED stage even displaying the Turkic Council flag along side Azerbaijan's name on the stage. Loud cheers filling the stadium during the announcement for their team. Going into the B's the Bosnian team, waving the Unity Flag was met with a very warm reception from Turks. Many opting to simply do the military salute, as a sign of respect for those fighting in Bosnia right now. Bulgaria, though not being a Turkic Council member, would receive a fairly warm reaction given its Turkic roots. Nothing notable happened till the letter F when Palestine entered the stage, receiving a very mixed reaction of cheers and boos from Turkish fans. Israel received a similar mixed reaction later in the night. The other Turkic states would also receive relatively warm reactions, the Korean Empire received the most positive reaction for non-Turkic teams, followed by the Kongo. Another country starting with the letter K, this time Canada (Kanada in Turkish) caused mixed reactions from the crowd, but one of surprise turning into praise as the Canadian Olympic Team took a knee against racial justice in the face of the recent black face scandal rocking their Prime Minister. Finally the list of nations would come to an end with Turkey, the host nation, making its arrival on the stage to a load ovation from the crowd. Chants of 'Türkiye' filling the stadium when they do, fireworks going off across the city as well. Something organized by the cities mayor, not the Olympic organizers. Following this the teams would once again make their way off the stage for the final part of the opening ceremony, which comprised of Turkish musicians preforming songs, more preferences about Turkish culture, and so forth. This would all conclude with a speech from the President of the International Olympic Committee, and then President Meral Akşener welcoming the world to İstanbul for the 2020 Olympics.
