Question: How do you become a member of the World Assembly? (I don't have discord so I only talk here, apologies if that isn't allowed or smthn.)

Bob-BoB-Land wrote:Question: How do you become a member of the World Assembly? (I don't have discord so I only talk here, apologies if that isn't allowed or smthn.)

It’s allowed, click on world assembly tab because you just need to provide your email and verify that you want to join the world assembly.

How to Join the World Assembly
- Go to your nation's settings, and make sure you have provided a valid email.

- Go to the World Assembly page and click on "Apply to Join" at the top.

- Check the email address you provided for a confirmation email from NationStates, and click the link included in the email. If you don't see the email, make sure to check any spam folders.

- Be careful you can only have one nation you control be part of the World Assembly and trust me they will check

You have been in NationStates (NS) for a while now. You have answered issues, written telegrams, posted on the Regional Message Board. You may be wondering what else there is to do. Have you considered joining the World Assembly (WA)?

Joining the WA is one of the best ways to improve your game experience and increase your nation's power and help your region be a force to reckoned with in NS.

What does joining the World Assembly enable me to do?
- Vote in the World Assembly!

- Endorse and be endorsed by others in your region!

- Submit your own resolution proposals!

- You can directly determine the outcome of WA votes!

- You can learn from the WA best and become one yourself!

- You can have one of the biggest endorsement counts in the game!

I am already a WA member with another nation.
No, no hold on! NationStates rules allow you to only have one nation in the World Assembly. As tempting as it is to have more, it is a really bad idea. On top of being dishonest and unfair towards other players, you run the risk of NationStates moderators finding out and deleting your nations, or even permanently banning you from the World Assembly and the game itself. And no matter how well you may try to hide it, the mods will find out eventually.

But what if my WA nation is not in Auroran?
You should consider moving that nation in Auroran, we welcome all nations! Hopefully all the above have already convinced you that Auroran is the best region for WA nations to be in.

So consider Joining the World Assembly today!

Thoughts on the flag? (specifically, my flag, not Lazarus's)

Is there some fusion of Wales and California going on here? It's cool! I'm just curious about what reflection it has on your nation's history and character...

I think that, if I were an artist, I'd've made it like the CR/NCR flag, but the bear would be replaced with an armoured pegasus (think the regular pegasus, but it has somehow naturally got armour. And in history, a famous siege was ended by hussars riding these, flying down a mountainside. As for why I chose to have both a California Bear and a Welsh Dragon, flags with dragons are cooler and there should be more, and I may have an NCR flag... As for the colour not exactly being the same on the CR/NCR flag? Blame the anime Cells at Work for that - it's got a character known as Red Blood Cell AE3803.

As for the character of the nation, it's definitely left-leaning - maybe the populace has an attitude of "live and let live". Like, you may think that the sense of dress of someone's odd, but the general attitude leans more to "odd, but neat"

Not particularly - I wasn't trying to implicitly ask for an artist to do it either. I'll be honest, it was more a "I'll see how I like this flag for my NS nation", and I seemed to like it.

The Discovery
Xana Colony of Aaralyx (Great Xanarcica Empire)

In the coastal city of Selia, nestled against the azure waters of the Xana Colony of Aaralyx, the news of the groundbreaking discovery rippled through the bustling streets like wildfire. Crowds gathered around holographic displays, murmuring excitedly as they absorbed the latest updates from the NXSAEA and Fevyx Space Exploration Research Facility.

Amidst the throng, Director Alyssa Varan stood on the steps of the Selia Observatory, her gaze fixed on the horizon where the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden hue over the cityscape. Beside her stood a group of astronomers and scientists, their faces illuminated by the glow of their data pads.

"This is a momentous occasion," Varan declared, her voice carrying over the crowd. "For years, we have gazed up at the stars, wondering what lies beyond. And now, thanks to the tireless efforts of our researchers, we stand on the brink of a new era of exploration."

The crowd erupted into applause, their cheers echoing off the towering skyscrapers that loomed overhead. But amidst the celebration, Varan's mind raced with the enormity of their discovery. For they had unlocked the key to a new frontier, one that held the promise of untold wonders and endless possibilities.

As night fell over Selia, Varan retreated to her office overlooking the shimmering waters of the bay. Alone with her thoughts, she couldn't shake the sense of awe that gripped her. For she knew that their journey was just beginning, and that the path ahead would be fraught with challenges and obstacles.

But Varan was undeterred, for she knew that with courage, determination, and the spirit of exploration burning bright within their hearts, there was no limit to what they could achieve. And as she gazed out at the stars twinkling in the night sky, she felt a sense of peace wash over her, knowing that the future of humanity was written among the stars.

The Imperial Crossian Naval Forces are Crossia’s naval branch and was officially established in early 1829, so after the end of the Crossian Revolution. The Imperial Crossian Naval Forces are a source of pride for Crossia as it is seen as her most powerful branch of military. The Imperial Crossian Naval Forces uses mainly stealth and shock and awe. Stealth is achieved via Crossia’s premium nuclear submarines which can stay at sea, usually submerged, for months and sometimes even over a year before needing to to resupply on food. The submarines are also known for launching torpedoes while submerged, the torpedoes are also electronically guided (although this makes them large and so a little less damage then a regular torpedo), the submarines are also hard to detect via sonar, which is done via a rubber coating. Crossia’s battleships are its most feared asset, most being around 265 meters long (869.423 ft) and 38 meters wide (124.672 ft), its battleships have four quadrupled barrel turrets, two aft and two forward) and large amounts of other types of smaller turrets and anti-aircraft. The Imperial Crossia Naval Forces also has a lot of smaller vessels such as destroyers, frigates, cruisers, etc. [img] Link

The launch

As the countdown to the launch of NXSAEA's Project: Explorer 1 ticked down, Director Alyssa Varan stood on the platform of the Selia Coast Space Center, her eyes fixed on the towering silhouette of the Atmos XI rocket. Beside her, a team of engineers and technicians bustled about, making final adjustments and conducting last-minute checks. Varan's heart swelled with anticipation, her mind racing with the possibilities that lay ahead.

"T-minus three minutes and counting," announced the launch director over the intercom, his voice echoing across the launchpad. Varan took a deep breath, her pulse quickening with each passing second. This was it—the culmination of years of planning, research, and hard work.

"T-minus two minutes," the launch director's voice boomed, the excitement palpable in the air. Varan glanced at the rocket, its sleek exterior gleaming in the floodlights. She felt a surge of pride knowing that they were on the brink of something truly extraordinary.

"T-minus one minute," the launch director declared, his voice filled with anticipation. Varan gripped the railing tightly, her heart pounding in her chest. She exchanged a knowing glance with Chief Engineer Marcus Harkin, their shared determination fueling their resolve.

"Ignition sequence initiated," came the voice of the launch director over the intercom. "Three... two... one... liftoff!" With a deafening roar, the Atmos XI rocket leaped skyward, piercing through the atmosphere with breathtaking speed.

Inside the cramped confines of the rocket, a team of astronauts and scientists braced themselves for the journey ahead. Among them was Dr. Aric Voss, his eyes shining with excitement as he monitored the telemetry data streaming in from Explorer 1. "We're on our way," he exclaimed, his voice crackling over the intercom. "Let's unlock the secrets of the cosmos."

As Explorer 1 hurtled towards the stars, Varan watched with bated breath, her heart filled with a mixture of hope and apprehension. For they were venturing into the unknown, charting a course through uncharted territory with no guarantee of what they would find. But Varan knew that they were pioneers, explorers driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge.

Hours turned into days as Explorer 1 journeyed deeper into the cosmos, its sensors probing the mysteries of the universe with unprecedented precision. And as the data poured in, Varan couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the magnitude of their discovery. For they were unraveling the secrets of the cosmos, one star at a time.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Explorer 1 returned home, its mission complete. As the rocket touched down at the Selia Coast Space Center, Varan rushed to greet the returning astronauts, her heart pounding with excitement. "Welcome back," she exclaimed, her voice filled with emotion. "You've made history today."

And as Varan looked up at the night sky, she knew that their journey was far from over. For the cosmos held infinite wonders waiting to be discovered, and she was determined to unlock each and every one of them, one mission at a time.

Hi I am new here

The Supreme Court of the United Socialist States of Gamezium has deemed that the case for the medical care colloquially known as "Animal HRT" has proven it to be safe enough to be issued under an "Informed Consent" model, which is likely also going to reduce healthcare costs - both for mental and physical healthcare.

On a side note, then Gamezian Government would like to issue a formal apology for the length of time it took for the cases to be heard - both for its legalisation and for the case of it being made to be a medication offered under an informed consent policy - and shall pay for any and all current and former prescriptions twice-over.
