The New Michiganian State’s capital, Michigania. Reports say he is roaming around in front of government buildings repeatedly saying “Tut lyuboy wissen Krossian?” Which translates to “Does anyone know Crossian?”

That man has since been apprehended for security reasons. The fact that he was able to enter without government notice is bad enough already. You will likely never hear of him again. In fact, he never really existed in the first place. That's what you get when you loiter around government buildings in a hyper-authoritarian state.
Breaking News! Velikiy Puteshestvennik has been apprehended by authorities in The New Michiganian State while roaming in front of a government building in its capital. This has sparked much controversy in the Crossian Empire, some are angry that a Crossian man got arrested at all, some are mad that he got arrested for a reason he could not control (which does not make much sense), and some are saying he got what he deserved. Many are calling for action from the government, who really didn’t care about Velikiy Puteshestvennik until now, some are even calling for war, though those people are seen as extremist. The government’s stance on the matter is currently unknown.
It’s probably important for me to mention the role of the Emperor. The Crossian Emperor is seen as having the duty to protect all Crossians in Crossia, and sometimes even Crossians abroad. From what whatever Crossia ( its people in this case) see as injustice. This of course can result in the government getting involved in even small matters.
He was a suspicious man loitering around government buildings. We only acted in favor of security. All hostile advances towards us will not be tolerated.
The Emperor, wanting to stay out of the matter but can’t due to public opinion on the same matter, asks the leader of The New Michiganian State, known as The General, for a meeting to attempt to calm tensions.

Calptionion election results are in. The presidential election has been a tight race mostly between the Reform and Stratocratic parties. However, with 41% of the vote, Reform barely edges out the Stratocrats, who got 39% of the vote. Labor, did better than predicted however, with their presidential candidate, Pierre Allard, getting 16%, with the National Party only getting a mere 4%. The Reform candidate, Denis Dupont has now been elected president of Calption, though the votes of the lower and upper houses have not been fully counted yet, so Reform's grip on the Calptionion government may not be as strong as it looks.
