What is the point with that? You are creating zombie regions that lacked the soul the region once had.

I think you have a bit more work until you achieve that.

I keep them just in case the original region shows up. that and If youve been around other regions then you'll know I'm not the only one doing this... Some people use them to make a point, some for power I am just using it to preserve for a later time...

The nature of NS communities is fleeting, just like in any game. I am not sure if any region really have come back from death or not, but I am sure that most never will. It is not like you are hurting anyone or anything so I am not complaining, but to me it seems like a waste of time, you could put all that work into creating a new region instead and recruit people to it.

I could, and I am starting to...
Phase 2 of my plan is to take old regions over with the intentions of recruiting people with around 3 main regions as my "flagships" and Will go on with phase 3 after I get to a certain amount of members...
And I know it will be hard to manage 3 regions at a time but I think I can do it once I get officers in the region that can make it almost automatic and out of my hands, Then phase 3 will start...
This will be hard But I think I can do it ;)

But true, Old and dead regions don't really come back from the dead, but It's good to have a "back up"/activity region.

I would start with 1 if I were you. Chances are otherwise that you would over reach. Once one region is up you could start on the second and so on.

Me personally would prefer a single large then 3 smaller but that might just be me.

That's how I would do it anyway...

Edit: I might just stick with one now that I think about it now...
But thanks for telling me!

There is an old saying in our region: The Radiant has ended, Novus Lucidum lives forever.

I think all the ministers here knows how hard it is to recruit people and we have been active and medium sized from the start. Filling up a completely new region is harder and I think the fail rate is pretty high, so starting out with a single region should be a challenge in itself.
It is certainly possible that if you have talent for it and things get easy that you can fill the other 2 at the same time, but like anything else being experienced is a huge advantage.

The hardest thing is to get 12 or so active players initially, once that is done it is easier to get people to stay. Many players who try a new region and find out there is a couple of people and not much going on will just leave again. It also helps if there is something your region offers that few other does, that makes recruitment easier.

Breaking News

Odinburgh Republican Party members which had no clearance of being there storm the secure room in the middle of hearing led by the Odinburgh Democratic Party during testimony of a military general on possible abuses committed by Bruce Alistair related to the trial of Madeline Ossler. Nothing is more is known currently. Odinburgh Republicans claim that this hearing was unfair. General Assembly police are in process of escorting unruly MPs out of the secure room.

Imbali Border Authority Anticipates High Increase in IIR's in Foreseeable Future

Chief of the IBA, Jamal Mustafa, had a press conference earlier today.

"Imbalistan. A nation of Muslims, misfortune, and war. In the past two months, we've had an increase in IIR's since the beginning of the Second Imbali Civil War. The first war didn't impact us like it more affected eastern Imbalistan, however, this one is all over the nation. We've seen the amount of IIR's recently, and we've calculated the numbers. In the next month, we will see an estimated 14,000 IIR's try and cross the border. Of that, 600 will make it through and live in Airol unfound for up to 2 weeks. Of that, only 20 will be able to live full and happy lives in Airol. I have also the immediate closure of the Saguaro Customs so these illegal refugees may not come in for asylum. We apologize to Imbalistan and Laabi, but this must have been done."

Odinburgh, New Nationale Einheit, Seaforti, and Imbalistan

After they said only up to 20 would gain citizenship and be allowed to live "full and happy lives" in Airol, refugees are now stuck in a bad situation; they can risk the crossing to Airol, most likely getting deported or stuck with a smuggler on the way. They can try to go for NNE, but the borders are well patrolled, and smugglers are known to be untrustworthy, hundreds dying from suffocation in the back of tight trucks while attempting to cross.

They have few other options, besides to remain within Imbalistan or attempt to flee to Scalesburg either on boat or plane. Though, very few have successfully went into the country.

The situation becomes more dire.

"We never said they would gain citizenship. What we said was they would live a long life in Airol without being caught by Airolian Border Authorities for at least 5 years."
