Not sure I quite understand your question, could you re-phrase please?

Our nation strongly encourages your WA delegations to vote against the proposal "Ending School Segregation."

Ok, that's a good point.

What in the world is this poll, and how is it relevant? In fact, how is any part of this post relevant? It doesn't make sense.

Everyone is welcome here.

Good grief that was a bad debate for both people. I wish there was a "None of the above" option for the election.

This country is most certainly screwed.

Well, that was shameful.

Let me say that as a person which was in this region since it's golden age until this point, even if I had two pauses I must say the region changed quite a bit, but other's perception of it sadly did not change at all.

The community aged (including me) and our newer members can probably notice that the older members who are still here are very conservative and don't take NS too seriously anymore with a few exceptions. I remember when we had a community that was strong enough to vote in or out a WA legislation including the help of our allies, but sadly nowadays even some of our allies that used to back our efforts turned against us.

I would say it's sad, if it were not a good thing. Most of the good folk I know from here grew into great people I am happy I was able to befriend. Many of the ones who left, went chasing their dreams and the last time we heard from them, was on a good note that their life was going on the right path...

I wouldn't like to call this the end of this region, as it is not at all the case, but I would love to mark some sort of symbolic bookmark in here, or a runestone, or whatever you wish to call it. I would like to say on a more high and maybe even overly idealist tone that no matter what the others think, this region helped a lot of people grow up from being children, angry drunks, or just teens unsure of their own identity into people who understand the world, at least to the point a regular adult does, which is a lot for an internet community, especially as slow and insignificant as a region on Nation States centered around a single political view of "The Right to Life" of all the living and the unborn including people who have different views on circumstances when such right does not apply if not always.

Ranging from murder, war, capital punishment, euthanasia all the way to abortion everyone I knew in this region had different views at least in one of those aspects, but in the end we learned to understand each other, even if we sometimes argued for weeks on a single subject. Then there is the elephant in the room of people from different nations, religions if not atheist and also different types of atheists from materialistic atheists (who believe in only the material world) through dualists, monadists and into the spiritists even. We had so many different people here of all genders... men, women and also those who have a gender which as opposed to physical sex is not binary, or at least associate with such gender, like me... Being bigender...

It may come as a surprise to some of you but when I joined the region I was the second to debate and argue (first being Peter). I was a young and lost boy who was mostly disappointed that my "political strategy" is just a political facebook, but I rolled with it. I became the regional cartographer and the minister of culture who was organizing roleplays for the members. I also created the most left-leaning party in the region, which I am still a founder of along with my friend The Catholic State of Eire and our one additional friend who is no longer active.

It's been a long ride, but the destination is past us for many of us and this is the case for me. I will stay in the region to keep in contact and sometimes post something like this, but I may be moving this exact nation to a different region for some reasons... It's been a pleasure being able to grow up with Nation States and not facebook and also a pleasure doing it here and not in one of the pacific regions. Thank you all for a great childhood I had thanks to you, or at least for the part you were in, as most of it was really bad.

I wish you all the best. Not leaving, but not being as active anymore...

Bro the debate was awesome! It was hilarious! I am a very strong Trump supporter and I believe in a lot of things that he is doing for this country.

That's great and all, but Trump's performance was abysmal, as was Biden's. Instead of a political debate between adults, we got a mudslinging match between 10-year-olds.

Thats true. It was basically just Trump making fun of Biden. Those people are just using Biden. They know he should step down but they won't let him. I almost feel bad for the dude. He should honestly step down with his conditions.

Regardless of which party or candidate you support, this debate was abysmal. "Hilarity" is not the standard of presidential debates traditionally, it's supposed to be about informing voters and exchanging views on policy. All we got was two men in their 70s barking at each other and always cutting into the other person's two minutes. The debate rules were basically ignored. The moderator tried to do his job but couldn't.

Does anyone remember when gravitas and morality and a modicum of decency were requirements to the highest job in the land? Go back to previous debates, whether presidential or VP, and the candidates actually respected the rules and let the opponent speak their two minutes without constant interruptions. With this "debate" no one learned anything new about the candidates unless they were just now looking at the presidential contest, which is unlikely.

This "debate" left China laughing, Putin smirking, Iran trolling, and our allies bewildered. We were made a grand fool of on the world stage, and it's of our own making. No country can credibly believe in American leadership when this is the performance of the contenders. This is something that Russia and esp. China want to cash in on to prove their authoritarian systems work better than democratic ones. This was comedy and sensationalism, not a debate.

It may be wishful thinking, but the VP debate may be better and more substantive. For those who study debates for proper speech technique, this surely wasn't it and I doubt the next two presidential ones will be either.

As if things weren't crazy enough, the President and First Lady are positive.

And as if modern American society's civility and my confidence in this site's moderation team weren't already low, a moderator merged the thread I created on President Trump's diagnosis into the 2020 election mega-thread because: "And yet ... how can you separate them? . . . Any discussion of Trump being positive for COVID must end up in a political discussion" (emphasis added).

I suppose everybody thinks everything's political now. For those of you who weren't awake, the major U.S. television networks, as well as the cable news networks, interrupted regular programming to report the story.

In Poland people who turn out positive are thrown out of the government... for... "retierment"... then when they are found in public, they say that they are and I quote "no longer ill".
