Das Boot, a truly great anti-war film. He came to Chicago to copy the U505 Submarine here for the interior set design for the film.

Yep, great movie. I think I remember reading about that. I hope to visit the Science Museum if I get a chance to re-visit Chicago.

I do hope that you get a chance. The Museum of Science and Industry was patterned after Munich's Deutsches Museum after being visited by by Julius Rosenwald, the Sears, Roebuck and Company president and philanthropis. It is housed in the former Palace of Fine Arts from the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition.

That's why I chose to remain here after finishing Uni. It has it's problems, but is so diverse in culture that there is always something new to discover.

I plan to steer clear of Chicago, NYC, Philadelphia, LA and San Francisco. They're a freaking bunch of war zones. You could be sucker punched just walking down the street, thrown in front of a moving subway car, shot at....

Nope.

Yep, I was personally involved in several fierce firefights, Millennium Park is a real sketchy neighbourhood...

Firefights? You were involved? No way! Give us the details!

Yep, I was visiting Grant Park on a sunny September morn. I continued my odyssey northwards towards Buckingham Fountain, that’s when the first shots rang out. Luckily, I had my trusty MP5 on hand. I returned fire in the general direction whence it came. Several Chicago police officers also returned fire, and a stray Marine who was on vacay to visit his mom, he called in an air strike from his buddies in the military. The terrorists had holed up in Millennium Park, declaring it to be ‘The Millennium Republic’ or some such nonsense. Later, the President ordered several units of the 1st Infantry Division to storm the park. I volunteered to join in the melee, the slaughter was fantastic. The terrorists will think twice about attacking Chicago again. After the blood and fury was stilled. I slowly walked on, a grenade having exploded closely to my left leg, just a ‘flesh wound’ I thought. I finished my journey and sat down by the lake shore, and gazed wistfully into the great inland sea….

Q: In what state is the city of Chicago?
A: State of violence.

Densaner, that was bovine scatology on so many levels, it boggles the mind.

As a San Francisco native, I can tell you I've never been murdered here yet

Can't say the same for LA
