The fact that the first thing these colonials would do upon meeting the native population of The dreary was drop bombs, was of great displeasure to the current Empress.

Violent, uncouth, a group of barbarians masquerading as civilization under the cloak of technology and a facade of tolerance, the "nation" of Japan is even incapable of holding its generals in check. Their apology saved them from a retaliatory strike, but they will be held in contempt. This will be the first and last time communication with that nation will be allowed in any official capacity.

Tholasyne declares Japan to be a rogue nation due to its extreme aggression, use of biological weapons and bombing of innocent natives. It calls Japan a hypocrite for complaining about their nation being subjected to genocide while trying to do the same thing to another nation.

The Empire is in a constant state of militarization; it’s known for it’s impregnable air defenses and huge stock pile of weapons. Similar to the actions of the Kwantung Army in Manchuria, the Imperial Japanese military carried out an illegal attack upon a foreign nation using chemical weapons. This was done behind the backs of both the Chrysanthemum Throne and civilian government. The leaders of the attack have been imprisoned and punished, and His Majesty made an official apology while the Prime Minister announced he would resign in apology.

The Caifuanese-pretender King, realizing Gora and Japan were becoming friendly, made outrageous, racist, and false statements. Japan retaliated, cutting retaliations and asking Gora to follow suit. Sluporia accuses Japan of sabotaging its alliances, so Japan withdrew its requests to Gora.

However Sluporia has threatened war if Japan continues to demand the war reparations from Caifu which are still owed from the devastating war of Gaijin aggression. Japan refused since it was entitled to those reparations. Sluporia threatening war in a characteristic attempt to control foreign countries and expand its power.

The Purge

The Emperor paced in His private office chambers. It twelve in the morning, a bright and sunny day in Kiwasaki. Birds sang outside, but Meji was not happy.

"Tenno, the Council is assembled," says His aid. He straightens out his suit and tie; this is only His third week on the job, and though He's been training for the task of leading a nation His whole life, it is still daunting.

Meiji enters the Council of the Privy Seal chamber; it's a remarkably decadent hall with a wooden table running down the center. Meji's seat is at the far end of the table on a raised platform. All bow and avoid eye contact. Meiji himself, or as he was once known, Akihito, stares at the floor. He sits down with impeccable posture. The seat for the War Minister is empty. Iwasaki was too committed to his country; too loyal.

"Your Majesty," begins the President of the Council, Madoka Toyotomi, "As You know, the Sluporians are threatening war. The empire in chaos, Sire."

"Yes. But our demands for war reparations from the Caifuanese are justified; they attempted to abduct many of Our subjects," he replies quietly.

"It is true, Your Highness," replies the Prime Minister. "We must find a course of action. If we back down, we could be viewed as weak. Other countries would take advantage of us. But if we hold our ground... we could face another war..."

Meiji sits in silence for a moment. "Prime Minister, summon the Palatinate ambassador to the Executive Residence to inform them of the situation and request guidance. Report to me once it is done."

The Executive Residence

The Iktah Ambassador is called to the Executive Residence, the sleek and modern home of the Prime Minister. There, the two countries will discuss the situation. Prime Minister Hayakawa, in the final months of his term before he resigns, his pushing a bill that will increase government control over the armed forces.

(I’m not even close to outnumbered due to the fact that you can only have 2% of your population in the army before taking painful organization and performance debuffs. So I’ll be fine. And you spoke on tons of tech that can destroy my stuff, when quite in fact, you can’t probably even have a dream that involves you shooting down my planes. Beyond this I’m basing in Castoria (your lovely next door neighbor) so I’ll be epic as can be.)
Sluporia sees Japanese concerns and offers to not take any land for itself once Japan capitulates to superior Sluporian forces. This is seen as a very generous act and it’s recommended Japan drops the reparation idea or just accept this term for the war. On a side note a conference of Japanese regression would have to occur once Japan made it clear that they would back down with looking for reparations.

Athejia wrote:"I suppose there is a sense in that, I'm afraid we Jade, myself included of course, are rather susceptible to feelings of grandeur and romanticism, pioneering discovery wherever we find ourselves in. Speaking of which, I don't suppose your people would mind if small numbers of mine came here to visit after relations are set up? This place is... oddly calming, very similar to the Dynasty of course but the atmosphere is far more laid back. There's none of the hustle and bustle, nor the sense of rush and hurry. I suppose its how our own country would've been like were we able to enjoy peace." Ling said, looking up to see a large building far to the end of the street that still had its lights on. Eshwar: “Sounds like you travel to other realms way too much,” he says with a light laughter “We have no fear with what we not know from far beyond, if the divine wishes us to face new scenarios then we shall obey by their command or accept our fate. We don’t mind people coming here in small numbers, as long as they don’t disobey the laws of the land, provinces like Ô Môn have strict Mimi shinsei laws. Other spiritual or nationalist provinces do have similar laws so getting around will be harder, it’s lucky as most people here are rather more laid back with laws in regards to religion. Much of the populace still holds their values with respecting elders and younger generations. So really depends on what province people feel comfortable on,” He says.

Eshwar: “Though don’t get too comfortable, politics has always been the break between people, some are traditionalist, some are constitutionalist, other just want the monarchs back in power,” he explains. Given that in the democratic society of the nation, the people are divided on what path must they take to lead to a successful or secured future for the future generations.
