On the boat, ready to reach the shore, laid a man firm man of great height, towering over his contemporaries by a half decent margin, with a quite determined and ruggish expression, wearing what seemed to be a long, worn brown coat with some faded insignia and much clearly Counictvi circle. His hand was cracked both from time and from the blow of the salty wind which emphasized the scars... these scars rather than glorifying his features turned to quite horrifying if one looked at them too long. Chemical burns mostly, they dotted the left side (relative to his face), reaching all the way up to his lip. Though muscled, he put more pressure on his right leg than his left.
To his side a man of far gentler yet still sharp esteem, robed in religious cloth yet still quite plain, stood at his side with the gospel in hand. He had a coy smile sometimes, though he dropped it when the locals looked at him, delving instead into ponder at the curious natives and their ways, both very interested and slightly mocking.
