How've you been?

I’m so glad to hear it man! I’ve been busy mostly, college kept me from continuing with Batavaria, but since the summer is about to start again I thought I’d give it a try! Man, I remember when Stellarum was still big and you were a carto on there. Oh how time flies.

Hannah-Vine wrote:mm... don't assume you have to move just yet. I have some reasonable options left, and I'm not even sure yet how much your lore is dependent on that location. If you did move, where do you think it'd be to? How much would you have to rewrite/re-draw? Should I just consider a smaller portion of Tvedovo and/or using some of the history you have of old neighbors? Maybe we should talk it over a day or few? I say a day or few because I should be asleep right now

Woah woah woah this is a lot of questions for me getting off of work. I mean pretty tied due to it being the fantasy portion of Val. But again I’m not 100% tied down.

Western Yastro, below Vilna. I somehow have the same color as the Bantarus islands but I also control the island south

I am good amigo, have you heard about the attack?

Amigo? Attack? I have heard none of it, what troubles you?

Today at 4:30 AM when the Muslim residents living in the town of Boshkharat were beginning their morning prayer, 200 Unidentified Armed Suspects, accused of working for the government raided the town, killing almost 300 people and another 500 went missing or injured. 9 Mosques were burnt down as the suspects raided from the north 2 kilometers from the Bieshkent railway. At 7 AM the attack halted as the suspects fled towards the port of Genzagi 9 kilometers south. 3,000 Muslims from surrounding towns fled and were displaced from the attack. The government is currently facing backlash as the Patriarch of Bulava claims the government has no ties with this massacre. The Prime Minister of Vajrastan has set an investigation and has currently captured 18 of the attackers heading down south. Their trial still awaits.

If any of y’all decide you want to put in a bid to host a tournament, just ping me in a post.
Depending on the amount of host bids and the number of teams, I could set the opening round, semi, and then the finals in different cities like the actual World Baseball Classic.

THIS IS AN EARLY TESTING STAGE. APPLICATIONS ARE STILL BEING TAKEN. REPLY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.

LOINTLAND SPORTS NEWSPAPER, FROM VERDANNA, LOINTLAND: TODAY MARKS THE BEGINNING OF THE INCUBATION PERIOD FOR INTERNATIONAL BASEBALL ACROSS VALSORA. THE INTIAL EXHIBITION GAMES IN VERDANNA HAVE GARDNERED SIZEABLE CROWDS CONSISTING OF TOURISTS FROM MANY NATIONS, WITH THE VOLINOVIAN-LOINTIAN CONTEST OFFICIALLY HAVING AN ATTENDANCE FIGURE OF 31,748. THE LOINTIAN SPORTS NETWORK AND IT'S INTERNATIONAL AFFILATES REPORT THAT RATINGS ACROSS VALSORA HAVE BEEN AS WELL AS HAD BEEN EXPECTED.

The first game of the VPBL would be the most anticipated of the night, as many were intrigued by the Nonsicoan rivalry matchup. Over 30,000 proud Lointian fans showed up for the inaugural VPBL exhibition match, but it was not enough to shake the visiting Volinovians. Volinovia struck first late in the bottom of the 5th inning, going up 1-0 but could not stay in the lead as the Lointians, (the de-facto "away" team) punched back in the top of the 6th to tie it back up at 1-1. Any hope of a Lointian comeback were squashed as the Volinovians threw two haymakers; one run in the bottom of the sixth and two in the bottom of the eigth. The last Lointian batters were suppressed in the top of the 9th, as Volinovia took home the first ever VPBL game, 4-1.

Malvekian pitcher Vic Allison had himself a day on the mound, going all nine innings and putting up a clean sheet against the quiet Dancian offense. Malvekian hitter Dusty Jenkins hit a 420 foot bomb in their 4-0 squashing of the Dancian nine. Dancian pitcher Bill Raysor didn't do half bad, either, putting up six strikeouts and only giving up 2 earned runs over 7 innings. This Dancian team needs to figure out their offensive woes quick if they want to compete with the other squads in the upcoming tournament.

Figures from all around The Great Orthodox Catholic Church of Southern Yastreovakia ranging from the Patriarch and Pope of Astovian-Kyrystalis to Parker Hennington Metropolitan of Dalesburg to the Metropolitan of the Southern Sanctuary all condemn the attack as brutal terrorism, calling it unbecoming of Christian mercy. The GOCCSY released a joint statement calling for prayers for the affected Muslims and justice against the horrible men who would inflict such an act. They make no comment on connections to the government or Bulava.

We don’t know yet, the government could’ve. Or they didn’t. It could be an extremist group.

The Prime Minister of Vajrastan currently makes no comment on the current prayers claiming to be on the hunt for the perpetrators

Skimming your factbooks and looking over the nations map (https://i.imgur.com/8OQ7d9d.png link maybe? ), I'm not sure where any of those are except Brethren. Do you mind showing me somehow?

I appreciate you letting me know about the broken factbook but it's not really a big deal.

I refuse to come up with another reason for the Grand Ataman's army now having relatively modern rifles so we're sticking with Zukchivan gunsmiths, it's not like anyone is relevant in the area anyway
