Let the meeting begin. Things here in the Army have been busy but I am back here on the region.
OK, I've been sitting here for 40 minutes and not a word. Some meeting...my dinner is getting cold, so colour me gone.

I had to meet with my soldiers last night. Army had been keeping me busy but tonight I am free. I will also be on here most of the day
Sorry for not being active but I am back now. It's just been a busy time with layouts and things at work
I am taking today and working on recruiting. I will be releasing a full statement soon on how the region will be growing and changing. I hope you all stay and help with this process. Please be patient as we are getting better.

Yes I am and hve built around 100 in the 13 years that I have been on NS. I can submit samples if you like. I'm currently building two. But, as a point of reference, forum membership and activity runs 5 to 10 percent of a region's total population if you're lucky. I wouldn't want to waste the effort of building one unless we have a much greater regional population which would ensure forum activity.
might I suggest making a subreddit instead. Reddit is a pretty popular website and if people were to subscribe to the subreddit, any important stuff would be visible on their front page. Moderation is simpler, it's prettier to look at minus stuff like /r/ooer, and easier to navigate.
However, your concern about activity is valid.Not everyone will post on the subreddit and it will probably die out like https://www.reddit.com/r/universemaker. Which is why actively involving the community such as https://www.reddit.com/r/ModelUSGov/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/ModelDemocrats/ are nessesary. /r/ModelDemocrats only has some 369 users but there is at least one post a day. This is a double edged sword as very little community involvement or in the case of https://www.reddit.com/r/elianscript/ the sudden stop of the belt system and the repetitiveness of the WoD caused a drop in activity.

I never have been a Reddit user so IDK. There are seven of us here, so I dare say that what needs to be said can be said on the RMB for the time being. Should we experience a huge surge in population, and the RMB becomes clogged with idle chit-chat, then we should explore other options.
We are sending out recruit telegrams but not working. I am writing a page to try to get people interested. Any suggestions??
I believe that the success rate of Recruitment TG's is something like 0 to 3% if lucky.
