Yeah... just FYI our activities in the mid east are not a d*ck measuring contest.

30 hour timed exam??

Solaryia wrote:30 hour timed exam??

Probably a take home kinda exam. You get the question and have a window to respond to it and submit within that time via the World Wide Web. I’ve got a couple of those too.

Pretty much what Ains said. Its covid adjustment because sitting 50 odd students in a room to do an exam isn't exactly safe nowadays. You're obviously not meant to work for the whole time tho. Its supposed to just be 24 hours but I get 25% extra time for mine. Sometimes this is taking to an extreme like in January we had a 72 hour exam which became a 90 hour exam which is slightly absurd.

Some other schools at my uni just do three hour exams using software that detects what time you start at, i don't know whty my school doesn't do that but i'm not complaining lol.

Not anymore. Most of the stuff got quickly outdated.

And besides, whoever is the SoRP ought to do that rather than a lazy bum like me.

The continued training institution (or whatever it's called in the English tongue) for which I work has had the problem that our exams can't be held online (yet) for legal reasons. So to keep everyone at least 2 metres apart, we had to reduce the capacity of our exam rooms by half so many disgruntled students have seen their exams rescheduled to the midst of the summer holidays. Not that they were going anywhere anyway...

Nothing wrong with a lazy bum.

Wait ...

The first semifinal of this year's Eurovision Song Contest just ended. Where can I get a new set of ears and eyes for it was gruesome. Much more so than usual. Hopefully the second semifinal on Thursday will be better...

On a mildly related note, have you seen the videos of people pouring molten metal down an ants nest and then getting it out of the ground and showing it off like some sculpture?

I mean it is pretty cool looking. It's a good way of noticing how extensive ant nests can actually get as well as getting rid of it as a bonus.
