History

Geuyi Automotive was founded in 1966 as Dantsan Precision Industries, a manufacturer of steel tubing and bicycle parts, eventually producing Domanania's first domestic bicycle in 1968. In 1969 the company would start building Gatpatugozhad-Thaunakie Motors licensed motorcycles, Felix Automotive licensed trucks (1970) and Fairman cars (1971). In 1972, with a new government the company was forced to consolidate under new economic reforms, and had to give up producing passenger cars, and focused on trucks. By this time, Dantsan had only produced a few hundred cars, and around 1,000 motorcycles.

After the ban was lifted in 1977 in accordance with the 2nd five year plan, Dantsan was able to begin building passenger cars again, partnering with Fairman Motors, Velho, and Felix Automotive to build the 1977 Fairman Maverick and 77' Felix Chevette cars under license. The import of these knock-down kits was permitted as long as Dantsan exported five cars for every single Maverick or Chevette brought in. In 1980, Dantsan had produced 15 cars, but by 1981 48,000 cars were produced. In 1986, Geuyi partnered with Hernan Motor Company, to help them produce a wider selection of vehicles.

Dantsan would produce several Felix and Fairman derived vehicles for both domestic and international sales, marketed as budget cars for lower income individuals. Dantsan would produce over a dozen models of cars between 1981-1995, partnering with several overseas companies to produce licensed and indigenous car designs. During this time, Dantsan incorporated themselves in Argus and Gael to provide services to their customers overseas. The first Dantsan branded vehicles were sold in Raedlon in 1992, Argus in 1995, and Gael in 1996. Dantsan methodically expanded region by region since then, expanding their coverage to more than 12 countries. In 2005 the company also produced it's first luxury car in partnership with Dewbury Automotive.

Empire Takeover

Dantsan declared bankruptcy in 2008 following the global financial crisis, and reached an agreement with Empire Metals Group in 2009 to diversify by exchanging ownership between the two companies. Empire Metals acquired 51% of the company, outbidding Fairman which had owned an interest in Dantsan since 1986. After this acquisition, the company was renamed to Geuyi Automotive, after Empire's founder. Following subsequent divestments, Empire Metals owns about one third of Geuyi Motor Corporation. While Empire Metals remains Geuyi's largest stakeholder, Geuyi Automotive also retains ownership in some 22 Empire Group subsidiaries, as well as shares in around 8 foreign companies.

Future Development

Geuyi Automotive CEO stated that they see Raedlon as a key market for future growth, which has brought on a new design team to push the brand of Geuyi. In 2020 Geuyi broke ground and began to build a new manufacturing plant in North Oscotia, marking a $1 billion investment, creating the largest manufacturing plant outside of Domanania, and marking the 2nd largest plant the company owns.

Design Emphasis

In 2021, the company brought on a new design team to help make the brand more recognizable. Having been marketed as a budget car, the reputation of Geuyi cars is that of reliability over comfort. Many models still show signs of their parent vehicles, which leads to brand confusion. So starting in 2021, the nose of most cars were redesigned, and the overall brand was shifting towards a moderate outlook. This includes changing the public perception of their vehicles from cheap, to comfortable cars that can compete with other brands. This is necessary for sales in regions like Raedlon and Gael that have a higher standard of living than most countries, and therefor ignore cars marketed as cheap and affordable, prioritizing comfort and reliability. Part of this change was also changing the company's slogan from "Comfort at no Cost", which had been their reigning slogan for 21 years, to "Enjoy the Ride", which became official in 2019.

Future
Geuyi is always looking to the future for development and manufacturing. The company has put out at least 3 new models of car a year for the last 5 years, including sedans, SUV's, trucks, and motorcycles. Geuyi has also been pushing for more environmentally friendly vehicles, with 2 hybrid passenger cars and 1 electric vehicle currently available for sale. Executives have said they are very interested in continuing hybrid and EV development.

In 2024 Geuyi announced it plans to invest $70 million into replacing the plant's electricity supply with 100% renewable energy, expand its engine production, and to build small and medium sized electric vehicles for local production. This includes producing the Felix E and Flaire, along with Geuyi models.

Colorane Plant:
Opening in 2020, the Colorane plant sits just outside the city, and is responsible for producing around 300,000 cars annually. The facility cost around $1 Billion to build, and sits on 2,263,652 square meters of land, becoming the largest plant to exist outside of Domanania, and the 2nd largest plant in the company. The plant produces the Tenet, Pride, Razer, Power, Summer, Nina, and Surge. The press factory developed and installed a uniform cushioning device with a high quality stabilization effect by ensuring uniform panel quality. The body shop has achieved 100% welding automation rate with more than 300 robots. In the event of a facility failure, a monitoring system has also been established that allows technical experts to provide remote support. The paint shop applied an eco-friendly water-soluble method that can paint a total of 15 kinds of colors.

Dantsan methodically expanded region by region since then, expanding their coverage to more than 12 countries. In 2005 the company also produced it's first luxury car in partnership with Dewbury Automotive.

Facilities
Geuyi operates out of many countries, many of which house local manufactories and dealerships. Below is a list of facilities throughout the region..

Design Centers

Tavunt Design Center:
The Tavunt design center serves as Geuyi's primary design center. The facility is located on over 1.65 million square meters of land and serves as the central hub for engineering work encompassing the entire design process, from pre-design studies, prototyping and extensive track testing, and full-scale wind tunnel aerodynamic testing to crash testing. All Geuyi Employees receive training at this facility.

Ioudaian Design Center:
The Geuyi design center located in Chyrtiros, the center of Ioudaian automotive industry. The facility sits on a 22 acre corporate campus. Completed in 2012, featuring 45 workstations and nine offices. The studio can model up to eight vehicles at once and includes a computerized milling machine that can quickly create full-size models. Work and presentation areas include a 2-D presentation room, a virtual reality center for 3D presentations. The office space consists of 22,000 square meters, with an efficient bioswale system in the parking lot.

Alteran Design Center:
The center was opened up in 2010 in Greyhelm, the capital of Altera. The facility sits near the Felix Automotive headquarters, symbolic of their long relationship. The building is notable for having a fully functional race track, which is used to real test high speed models. In 2018, Felix Automotive was granted access to this track as part of a ceremony honoring both companies long history.

North Oscotian Design Center
In 2019, the North Oscotian design center was opened ahead of the opening of the new manufacturing plant set to open the next year. The facility notes some of the most advanced modeling work stations, capable of fully creating 3D models of vehicles and running simulations.

Manufactories

Tuwar-Sa Plant:
Formerly known as Tuwarí is the first integrated automobile manufacturing plant, established in 1993 on 498,908 square meters of land. The plant is near the country's capital of Tavunt, with ready access to labor, other resources and transportation facilities, as well as the Tavunt metropolitan area. The plant can output around 50,000 vehicles a year of all types.

Gyundo Plant:
Located in Gyundo-íp, Theríp Gun of Tavunt Province and established in 2011, the plant covers 3,199,636 square meters of land and manufactures the Pride, Razer, Power, Summer, Nina, and Surge. As of 2021 the plant exceeded 3 million total vehicles produced (300,000/ year). The facility maintains a proving ground with a high-speed oval, 12 different test tracks extending to a total length of 14 kilometers and 32 different road surfaces.

Tsanshí Plant:
Located in Tsanshí-íp in Heresrun province, this facility sits on a 1,022,234 square meter lot, and is responsible for manufacturing the Comet, Starlight, as well as the Pride and Razor as of 2013. This plant averages around 50,000 units produced ever year.

Nykalessos Plant:
In 2008, Geuyi opened its second manufacturing plant inside Ioudaia as a joint venture with Gatpatugozhad-Thaunakie Motors (GGT). The new facility is 367,794 square meters and is located just 3.5 km from the two companies existing facility. At an initial cost of $800 million, the fully integrated passenger car production facility will have an annual capacity of 300,000 units, boosting GGT's total annual capacity to 430,000 vehicles. The entire plant supplements the older plant (under the control of Gatpatugozhad-Thaunakie) which focuses on motor bike production, with passenger cars.

Greyhelm Plant:
Opening in 2018, the Greyhelm Plant sits just outside of Dunwich on a 2,170,000 square meter lot and has facilities for stamping, welding, painting and assembly with annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles. The plant manufactures the Gueyi Nina and Surge for local markets, as well as the Embassy and Executive for the Gael Regional Market.

The outfitting factory applied a one-kit system using a bridge direct supply method for module parts such as seats and bumpers, and a conveyor.

Rochelle Plant:
Sitting at 1,000,000 square meters, this facility in Rochelle opened its doors in 2023. It currently has a production capability of 20,000 units annually. By 2028 the plant is expected to produce 100,000 vehicles annually. It is the only plant operated by Geuyi that produces solely hybrid and electric vehicles.

Overview

Parallel Data Solutions, known colloquially as Parallel, is a titan in the data brokerage industry within the United Commonwealths of Great Altera. With its headquarters proudly situated in the technologically advanced city of Arcmond, Carneath, Parallel is a testament to the power of data in the digital age. The company’s core competency lies in its sophisticated data collection and analytics capabilities, which have positioned it as a leader in providing actionable insights across various sectors.

Parallel employs a robust team of 2,000 data professionals, each contributing to the company’s mission of transforming raw data into strategic assets. The company has reported an impressive annual revenue, drawing parallels with similar-sized companies in the industry, which typically range around ₠600 million to ₠1.2 billion. Profit figures, while confidential, are estimated to be in the region of ₠60 million to ₠170 million, reflecting a healthy profit margin that underscores the company’s operational efficiency and innovative product offerings.

History

Founded in 1997 by a consortium of data enthusiasts and visionaries, Parallel began its journey in Reoite, Commonwealth of Aeckland, before relocating to the bustling city of Arcmond in the Commonwealth of Carneath. The company’s inception was marked by a clear goal: to harness the burgeoning potential of the internet as a data goldmine.

Parallel Data Solutions was the brainchild of a trio of data enthusiasts: Wendy Gordon, Bryan Roberts, and Alexander Andrianov. Each founder brought a unique perspective and set of skills to the table, united by a shared vision of harnessing the power of data to drive innovation and progress. Gordon hailed from a background in marketing analytics, Roberts was an expert in software development, and Andrianov was a seasoned entrepreneur with a keen eye for emerging technologies. Their diverse origins provided a solid foundation for a company that would bridge the gap between raw data and actionable insights.

The idea for Parallel Data Solutions sprouted from a simple observation: the internet was becoming an ever-expanding repository of information, yet there was a gap in translating this data into meaningful applications. These three founders recognized the potential to create a data brokerage that could not only collect and analyze web data, but also transform it into a strategic asset for businesses and organizations; knowing that with the growth of the technological sector with Great Altera, Gael and the wider region - the collection of the data produced would be an untapped gold-mine.

Whilst Gordon and Roberts were motivated by the belief that data, when properly analyzed and applied, could unlock a wealth of opportunities - Andrianov saw its potential for profitability. They saw data brokerage as a means to empower companies to make informed decisions, tailor their services to meet customer needs, and stay ahead in a competitive market. Their combined goal was to create a conduit through which the vast streams of internet data could be channeled into valuable, actionable knowledge.

With their combined expertise and a shared passion for data-driven solutions, the founders established Parallel Solutions in 1997. They set up their first office in Reoite, Aeckland, a city chosen for its vibrant tech scene and business-friendly environment. From these humble beginnings, Parallel would grow to become a leading name in the data brokerage industry, known for its innovative products, ethical practices, and commitment to client success.

Despite its success, Parallel has not been immune to controversy. The company faced public scrutiny when it was embroiled in a scandal involving the alleged misuse of web data. Reports surfaced that sensitive user information had been inadvertently exposed due to a security lapse, drawing comparisons to other high-profile data breaches. Parallel swiftly addressed the issue, reinforcing its security protocols and regaining customer trust through transparent communication and remedial actions.

In response to past scandals and the need for ethical data management, Parallel is likely to reform its policies to prevent unethical data harvesting. This includes establishing a dedicated ethics board, conducting regular audits, and engaging in dialogue with stakeholders about data rights and privacy. Rebuilding trust with the public and clients will be crucial for Parallel. In 2023, Parallel launched initiatives to educate the public on data privacy, participate in industry discussions on ethical data use, and demonstrate its commitment to responsible data management practices.

Staying as a market dominant corporation, Parallel has developed a suite of data-related products that have become indispensable tools in the market:

Insight Engine- a predictive analytics tool that processes vast datasets to forecast market trends and consumer behavior with remarkable accuracy.

DataSphere API - a set of digital application and web tools offering seamless integration for businesses to access real-time data streams, enhancing decision-making processes.

Bulldog - cybersecurity service that utilizes big data to protect corporate networks from emerging threats.

MarketPulse - a desktop application and webtool providing companies with a real-time overview of their market position, competitor activities, and customer sentiments.

Parallel’s growth strategy included the acquisition of smaller data companies, which expanded its capabilities and market reach. Notable acquisitions include:

ByteCrafter Analytics - an Alteran startup, that grew to be one of Parallels largest competitors, specializing in crafting bespoke data solutions for niche markets.

InfoNest Technologies - a Reannese software developer renowned for its advanced data warehousing and cloud storage solutions.

QuantumLeap Data Labs - an Alteran startup that brought innovative machine learning algorithms into Parallel’s product ecosystem.

As the advent of Artificial intelligence continues to develop and break new ground; Parallel is expected to continue investing in AI, particularly in enhancing its data analytics capabilities. The development of AI can provide more sophisticated tools for data processing and interpretation, leading to more accurate insights for clients. Parallel may also explore AI to improve its operational efficiency and develop new products and services; working closely with Horizon Inc's "Echo" AI - an expanded version of their "Cecil" machine-learning search engine tool.

With growing concerns over data privacy and ethical harvesting, Parallel is poised to prioritize transparency and ethical practices in its data collection methods. This could involve implementing stricter data governance policies, ensuring compliance with international data protection regulations, and providing users with more control over their data; as well as continue to adhere and promote the values of the Great Alteran led incentive; the Universal Data Protection Regulation (UDPR).
