Geuyi Automotive was founded in 1966 as Dantsan Precision Industries, a manufacturer of steel tubing and bicycle parts, eventually producing Domanania's first domestic bicycle in 1968. In 1969 the company would start building Gatpatugozhad-Thaunakie Motors licensed motorcycles, Felix Automotive licensed trucks (1970) and Fairman cars (1971). In 1972, with a new government the company was forced to consolidate under new economic reforms, and had to give up producing passenger cars, and focused on trucks. By this time, Dantsan had only produced a few hundred cars, and around 1,000 motorcycles.
After the ban was lifted in 1977 in accordance with the 2nd five year plan, Dantsan was able to begin building passenger cars again, partnering with Fairman Motors, Velho, and Felix Automotive to build the 1977 Fairman Maverick and 77' Felix Chevette cars under license. The import of these knock-down kits was permitted as long as Dantsan exported five cars for every single Maverick or Chevette brought in. In 1980, Dantsan had produced 15 cars, but by 1981 48,000 cars were produced. In 1986, Geuyi partnered with Hernan Motor Company, to help them produce a wider selection of vehicles.
Dantsan would produce several Felix and Fairman derived vehicles for both domestic and international sales, marketed as budget cars for lower income individuals. Dantsan would produce over a dozen models of cars between 1981-1995, partnering with several overseas companies to produce licensed and indigenous car designs. During this time, Dantsan incorporated themselves in Argus and Gael to provide services to their customers overseas. The first Dantsan branded vehicles were sold in Raedlon in 1992, Argus in 1995, and Gael in 1996. Dantsan methodically expanded region by region since then, expanding their coverage to more than 12 countries. In 2005 the company also produced it's first luxury car in partnership with Dewbury Automotive.
Dantsan declared bankruptcy in 2008 following the global financial crisis, and reached an agreement with Empire Metals Group in 2009 to diversify by exchanging ownership between the two companies. Empire Metals acquired 51% of the company, outbidding Fairman which had owned an interest in Dantsan since 1986. After this acquisition, the company was renamed to Geuyi Automotive, after Empire's founder. Following subsequent divestments, Empire Metals owns about one third of Geuyi Motor Corporation. While Empire Metals remains Geuyi's largest stakeholder, Geuyi Automotive also retains ownership in some 22 Empire Group subsidiaries, as well as shares in around 8 foreign companies.
Geuyi Automotive CEO stated that they see Raedlon as a key market for future growth, which has brought on a new design team to push the brand of Geuyi. In 2020 Geuyi broke ground and began to build a new manufacturing plant in North Oscotia, marking a $1 billion investment, creating the largest manufacturing plant outside of Domanania, and marking the 2nd largest plant the company owns.
In 2021, the company brought on a new design team to help make the brand more recognizable. Having been marketed as a budget car, the reputation of Geuyi cars is that of reliability over comfort. Many models still show signs of their parent vehicles, which leads to brand confusion. So starting in 2021, the nose of most cars were redesigned, and the overall brand was shifting towards a moderate outlook. This includes changing the public perception of their vehicles from cheap, to comfortable cars that can compete with other brands. This is necessary for sales in regions like Raedlon and Gael that have a higher standard of living than most countries, and therefor ignore cars marketed as cheap and affordable, prioritizing comfort and reliability. Part of this change was also changing the company's slogan from "Comfort at no Cost", which had been their reigning slogan for 21 years, to "Enjoy the Ride", which became official in 2019.
Future
Geuyi is always looking to the future for development and manufacturing. The company has put out at least 3 new models of car a year for the last 5 years, including sedans, SUV's, trucks, and motorcycles. Geuyi has also been pushing for more environmentally friendly vehicles, with 2 hybrid passenger cars and 1 electric vehicle currently available for sale. Executives have said they are very interested in continuing hybrid and EV development.

In 2024 Geuyi announced it plans to invest $70 million into replacing the plant's electricity supply with 100% renewable energy, expand its engine production, and to build small and medium sized electric vehicles for local production. This includes producing the Felix E and Flaire, along with Geuyi models.
Colorane Plant:
Opening in 2020, the Colorane plant sits just outside the city, and is responsible for producing around 300,000 cars annually. The facility cost around $1 Billion to build, and sits on 2,263,652 square meters of land, becoming the largest plant to exist outside of Domanania, and the 2nd largest plant in the company. The plant produces the Tenet, Pride, Razer, Power, Summer, Nina, and Surge. The press factory developed and installed a uniform cushioning device with a high quality stabilization effect by ensuring uniform panel quality. The body shop has achieved 100% welding automation rate with more than 300 robots. In the event of a facility failure, a monitoring system has also been established that allows technical experts to provide remote support. The paint shop applied an eco-friendly water-soluble method that can paint a total of 15 kinds of colors.
