You are such a funny little rascal. :)

So Hunt would deny indyref 2 even if a majority in Scotland wanted it but we've to leave the EU because it's the "will of the people." Interesting interpretation of the concept of democracy there.

The Issue (#1,015)

Vlad Leopold, the despised Tasmanian war criminal and international fugitive, was recently captured by the Equestrian Home Guard* while in hiding just outside of New Mareskov. With members of the international community wanting to see justice, the question of jurisdiction has arisen.
(* The issue actually states your demonym adjective before 'police'. So it would be Russian police in my case.)

[I chose Option 3]
“This arrest was the finest moment of my career, and also a big moment for Russkov Soviet,” counters Lucy Wiener, the national police chief. “Leopold slaughtered a few Russian volunteers in the Tasmanian Civil War, so we can rightfully try him for murdering our own citizens. Everyone can whine all they want, but the fact is they couldn’t catch him. We did. It’s our sovereign right to try criminals captured on our territory.”

The Result

The justice of Russkov Soviet is considered superior to that of other nations.
(Its more like... I caught him, so... my soil, my laws.)

How're you?

That it has, I am doing quite well to be honest. Not on the rmb much these days however.

Problems in my own NS version of the UK are stubbornly persistent. Very annoying.

Welcome to the Confederacy of Free Nations, Mr. Ward. My name is Aleksi Coltsov, the current Leader of the Equestrian Federation. While this region is not as lively as it used to be, I do hope you find a home among us. A number of nations, RP wise, have benefited from the generosity of my Federation. Feel free to ask for assistance if you request it.

(I apologize for such a late response. Being busy irl AND the Leader of such a powerful nation can be overwhelming at times.)

For the EU4 players, the tell of the Saddest Ottomans i ever saw (happened yesterday actually) (i am poland btw, with Serbia as vassal after collapse of the Ottomans)

its year 1520, Ankara and Constantinopol both fly the Flag of Christiandom, Balkans have fallen to Poland and its Ally Venice, with some lands ruled by the Orthodox serbians.
And southern half of Anatolia has been overrun with the Mamluk hordes. With the Ottomans essentially becoming a punching bag of everyone and about to die.

What happened? Few things, Mamluks defeated Ottomans in a war, but halfway into the war Venice declared war on the Ottomans using their weakened state to gain stuff, thanks to the personally trait in venice i was notified and looked south with the idea in mind as to what the hell is Venice doing??? And then i saw how bad it was Ottomans. I decided to abandon my plans of finishing off the Teutonic Order and join in on the fun. Resulting in my conquest of Ankara and Constantinopole. With the Ottomans now at war exhaustion 20 and -3 stability they have collapsed into a peasant civil war. And then genoa (3 province minor) invaded them and WON! alone, with army of 8K. Venice also joined in on the fun again i think 1 year before Genoa made peace with Ottomans.

the next 15 years were spent with another invasion of Venice and its League, my second conquest, Serbia invading and taking large parts of Balkans. and Mamluks also going to Ottomans again.

So now the Otto bros are nearly wiped off the map, on IRON MAN with their Janni's active during the war that ruined them.

This was copied from another of my regions, i just wanted to share this sad tale.

Equestrian Federation - August 2019 Plan of Action

-[Increase Military presence on Sodor] While the garrison at F.O.B Pegasus is quite large, boasting roughly 6,000 troops, the Kremlin has considered plans to make the base and subsequent port a major naval instillation that would see personnel increased to 11,000.

-[Planetary Relocation?] A EQF starship came across a potentially habitable planet. The planet and location are classified, but Russian military officials are debating on whether to move to this new world.

-[A Fragile Peace?] While many smaller nations and factions have come to blows with the Red Army over the course of 2018, a few threats still remain. Peace treaties have been signed throughout early 2019, but demonstrations and signs of military buildup have Russian military officials planning preemptive attacks to quell potential insurgencies before they begin.

(Other smaller plans are on the books, but these are the most important due to the scale of change they might bring about.)

This is your regular reminder that I continue to exist.

Thank you Bear, much appreciated :P

The Issue
After Dàguó implemented a “social credit” system, in which the good and bad deeds of citizens affect a score which determines various rewards and punishments from the government, politicians are pondering the plausibility of using such a system that rates your citizens based on their actions.

“Why implement a system that rates your citizens when you can have the citizens rate the government instead?” whispers a mysterious stranger as retro music begins to play. “That way, the old, drab officials in their drab suits can just be fired by you and replaced with more qualified people with more street cred.”

And thus we are taking our next step on our path to our version of Enlightened Totalism

Have fun with your plans Soviet, however there are few things that are raising a lot of red flags when it comes to your actions. More soldiers on Sodor, the place close to the heartland of the master race? Not to mention its significance during 2018 when we had our war, which we nearly won if the rush for Moscow succeeded together with the campaign of Leningrad. Considering your words of Red Army clashing with small nations its not hard to imagine one of them being us, thus your preemptive strike could very well be targeted at us. Even though Iberia is a fortress and hell to live in our significance in international terrorism and world crime is significant (looks at TCaDs)

Additionally your build up of additional ships is obvious attempt in our eyes to combat our space fleets and counter our as of yet unrivaled power over Saturn and Moon.

Thus i have declared full scale mobilization of all of our forces and our nuclear warheads are pointed at Moscow. Give me one good reason not to have our own preemptive strike to neutralize you.

No worries. I've been here before, a few years back. Quite a few familiar faces- some absent friends. I appreciate the welcome.

One good reason? Hmmm.... Well, I suppose I can try to explain the situation a bit better.

(The Base on Sodor) - While it is primarily a naval instillation, its purpose is more varied than one would think. In addition to holding wartime/peacetime fleets, the base will be used for a refueling point for transatlantic convoys, cross channel traffic, cruise ships, and a International Coast Guard base.

(Planetary Relocation) - The planet we seek is not in our solar system (Sol System), so the only reason more and more Federation ships will be present is due to the building of numerous transport ships.

(First Strike?) - Ah yes, the Iberian Aggression. To be honest, you are not a "small" nation and have been off our list for some time. Only a fool would dare brave the near inhospitable land that is Iberia. Most of the "nations" we seek are mostly terror cells and what have you that think they are powerful enough to be recognized as full fledged nations.

The Talking Point
Heavily-armed commandos play rock-paper-scissors over whether to execute criminals and foreign visitors.

Btw Spanelsko plans on opening its borders completely, in the near future if possible NS. To both the outside visitors and those who want to escape our land.

Your reasoning sounds plausible, i give you the benefit of the doubt but we will remain partially mobilized for the next few months. And we fully understand that our land is even worse to fight in then nuclear wasteland but i still doubt that you would prefer to see us alive, much less expand. Considering our world conquest campaign in the future. Which include's your inevitable invasion and our final victory over Bolshevism. Even if it might take few years or decades before we are ready for a new world war.

Among some small news we are also opening our trade markets again, and relations as we have for the most part achieved our Autarky.

In 30 thrilling encounters, Spanelsko has never defeated Penguania and Antarctica.

Level Penalty: -4 pts
Your level is 4 lower than Penguania and Antarctica, which will make this challenge extremely difficult.

I hope this isn't how its going to end up with my world conquest XD
