Telegram to the Kurikian Federation government.
Dear leadership of the Kurikian Federation, we would like to help our your nation in these trying times. Please accept our delegate, Juan Jose de Gran Ambassador Projectors. If you accept he’ll arrive in the next few hours. Gracias, Director of Foreign Affairs.
Howdy, you look a tad slow...
You don't need my approval, it's free journalism. Go right ahead. As long as it covers only facts I'm sure no one will complain.

Don't worry, bc you're new here, you're spared from my 10 ton anvil straight onto your head
Also, read this if you are not sure about TEP:
Here are your first steps...
Join the WA: page=un
Endorse Libertanny our delegate and leader
Endorse the Viziers and Regional Officers by clicking here
Gain more rights to troll without being kicced out by cliccing here
Endorse me if u feel like it
Look at the play maps we have:
Here's a general guide to the nature of each map, and what you'll experience if u join:
Urth roleplay works very slowly. It's on the TEP forums, which is a separate site and takes a while to understand
Valsora is an old and stable RP map. If you want to be sure to have a long game life for your nation, this is your choice. It also has the most war of all the maps, and a lot of options for diplomacy and exploration
Windsor is somewhat like a text version of Civilization 5. Economics, diplomacy and politics is more in depth than Valsora, and war isn't as frequent. Currently it's sort of dead, so make sure there is activity on Windsor before joining by messaging Volinovia or [nation]Technocratic Tagalog.[/nation]
Courisia is an older version of Windsor. Unfortunately, it's close to dead right now
Note that NS issues are not that serious. You can answer an issue seriously and get ridiculous results. Just take it as a joke, chuckle and continue answering : ) Try to be #1 at different things and show off like Virgolia or try to be as turrible as possible and make jokes about it on RMB like the awful Wiranath
Things you can do with roleplay and world creation do are:
1. create imaginative worlds (history, religion, technology, civilizations, etc) for your fictional nation and states, cities and people
2. create graphics national or region flags, emblems, countryballs, anthems, poetry, comics or art that's related to your imagined nations
3. create short stories, longer stories or even novels alone or with others on RMB
4. create your own map and invite others to join
And then, my special brand of RMB funz...
5. make jokes and troll people (my job! MINE!)
6. worship the Lord of the Blessed Corn and be forever enriched with popcorn
7. Bother other n00bies with this dispatch when they first say 'im new here how do I play]
Here are the 5 cardinal rules of RmB:
1. Don't triple post (posting 3 times in a row). Double posting is okay, but not recommended. After you make a post, do check the RMB (the place where you're reading this) and wait for someone else to post. Then make your next post
2a. No advertisements for regions. This region is TEP, and we use the [region][/region] tag like The East Pacific. To be on the safe side, don't link to any regions.
2b. No advertising for sites. You can post imgur images or Youtube links and so on, but don't go 'Oh, this site is awesome! You have to join' and then link us to your uncle's fairly-illegal questionably-human-rights-violating sweatshop
3. Don't directly insult people or seriously troll to truly hurt or offend people. Trolling should be done in a fun, joking manner (if you want to know more, sign up for my Trolling 101 class on Udemy)
4. Don't spam with meaningless posts. Example include but are not exclusive to:
a. Foreign languages without translation
b. A bunch of emojis
c. A bunch of ASCII art or Lennies (sniff)
d. Single or double meaningless words
e. Any kind of copypasta
f. Dots or 'bump'
5. Don't make sexual references of any kind. You will find some very slight pg-13ish material here and there, but please watch the RMB for a week before figuring out where the line is.
If you follow these simple rules, you'll have lots of time to learn rest as u go. Have fun!

Welcome!

So, what's NationStates?
NationStates is basically an extremely complex game. To sum it down into what you can do, you can:
Answer issues in your nation, which affect your nation's statistics.
Participate in roleplay groups throughout NationStates (Note: roleplay does not affect your nation's statistics.)
Participate in the World Assembly, debating and passing resolutions. (Basically, NationStates's version of the United Nations!)
Participating in R/D, or Raiding and Defense (where you can try to destroy or defend regions).
Participate in your region's government (what you can and cannot do specifically depends on the region you reside in and your position within it. Like in real life.).
A region on NationStates is basically a group of nations. Think of it as a sort of clan, but in this case everyone has to be within one! Of course, you have the power to choose which region you want, but we obviously suggest the East Pacific. To learn more about regions, feel free to ask around! While we would love ot have you, sometimes the East Pacific isn't the best fit for everyone.
If you have more questions about the game, you can check out this non-TEP affiliated guide by Amerion (click this green thing), which explains the game and many of its aspects in detail. When you feel confident that you understand what NationStates has to offer, continue reading the guide below! :)
And what's the East Pacific? What does it offer?
The East Pacific (also known as "TEP") is a region within NationStates! To be more specific, we are a Feeder Region, which basically means that we are one of the five regions in the game where new nations (like you!) spawn! Which means that we're always blessed to be seeing new faces, and to receive new talent into our region.
As for the government, the East Pacific is a democracy. We elect our Delegate (the in-game leader of a region), and have an open legislature for any citizen to join! As such, we're a pretty active region.
And what does TEP have to offer you, compared to other regions? Well, we got:
An active regional government, with a functioning legislature, executive, and judiciary!
Two diverse and strong roleplay communities (one on the regional message board, one on forums!), with robust roleplay in which you can let your imagination and writing skills loose!
A regional forum with posts dating back all the way to 2004, providing an immense historical record of our region! (Click here to visit our forums!)
And a friendly, active Discord community, complete with Discord games! (Click here to access our Discord!)
Many chances to work your way up in our regional government!
An active and renown regional army, that you can enlist in!
However, to become access some of these awesome things TEP has to offer, you need to become a citizen!
A citizen, you say?
Yes! A citizen of the East Pacific, to be precise. Citizenship has a multitude of benefits, and it's really easy to become one! First, let's review the benefits of obtaining citizenship:
Be able to gain rank within the East Pacific's very own regional army.
Have the right to a fair trial for in-character criminal offenses, such as treason.
Become more integrated within the East Pacific's wider community.
Participate in the East Pacific's forum roleplay, which is well known for its immense lore and worldbuilding.
Participate in the Magisterium as a Magister, where you can debate laws and legislation!
Join the Executive and work in one of our many ministries.
Question candidates, and cast your vote in our tri-yearly Delegate elections!
Vote in regional referendums to amend the Concordat (our regional constitution).
If you believe that citizenship is the next step for you, make sure to follow these steps to obtain it!
Steps to Citizenship:
Register an account in our regional forums! (Make sure that you do this on a private IP address. If you need help to make sure your IP is private, visit this site. If you cannot verify if your IP is private or not, ask East malay for help.)
Read the entire post, and follow its directions (verify your e-mail, link your nation in your profile, and copy, paste, answer, and post the application within the textbox at the bottom of the page. If you need help, do not hesitate to telegram Zukchiva for help.)
Make sure to log in everyday, and check the citizenship application thread. If you're accepted, make sure to check your profile everyday after. Once your name turns pink (or your "groups" show that you're in the Citizens group"), then you're a citizen!)
If you were denied, fix whatever problems are there, and then reapply (and notify the person who denied your previous application of your new application). Then, repeat the previous step (and if needed, this step) until you get accepted!
And that's the gist of it! Congratulations on becoming a citizen!
Is this the end?
For this part of the guide, yes! However, if you want to know more about the government, the army, the roleplay, or endorsements and why they're important, feel free to hit the links at the top of this post! :)
We hope you stick around, and experience what the East Pacific is like for you! And remember, you can move if you want too. But, we'd like you to be with us, if you would like to be with us as well! ^-^
Remember, any questions or suggestions can go to me, Zukchiva.
