Edit: Though I reckon you must have miscalculated something, it can't be worth 3.14159TRY and 1.618ZAR because 3.14159TRY is actually estimated to be worth 8.61ZAR

You're indeed correct because the Agoran Currency Calculator simply took two currencies, and tacked on pi to one and phi to the other...this is what Agoran kids learn in math class.

Iescech wrote:Alright, well, at the moment, one Agoran nickel goes for...3.14159 Turkish lira, 1.618 South African rands, and 0.5 goats at Billy's Billy Goat Farm. I'll leave you to calculate that in dollars.

How many is that in pieces of pocket lint and shiny pebbles?

Quite a few, to be specific

Well for a true estimate, you would have to go to the pocket lint vendor and the shiny pebble vendor to get their daily fluctuating rates, then compare that to the Billy's Billy Goat rates, carry the 3, use the formula for hyperbolas, and that should get you to your answer.

So ... *slapping disks frantically on an abacus* ... it comes out to a one-to-one exchange rate. One average-sized hunk of pocket lint or one shiny pebble for one truckload of bacon? Well, then, I'll take two truckloads, 'cause today I'm actually wearing pants (that doesn't happen every day, y'know) and I have a hunk of pocket lint in each of my front pockets. They're kinda large hunks, so it's a good deal for you. Gosh, I hope I'm not overpaying.

*Line of men hauling wagon-fulls of bacon come out zooming behind a corner, dumping the bacon onto a large tarp and rolling away like clockwork; Iescech stands picking through the lint*

Always remember to sit up nice and straight whenever at a laptop, computer, or mobile device to prevent the sort of back aches that we all are doomed to experience after our halfway mark in life.

Sh!t! I'm halfway though life already?

We're shooting 🎲🎲 Craps 🎲🎲!

The shooter throws two dice. Don't Pass bets win on a 2 or 3. Pass bets win on a 7 or 11. Don't Pass bets break-even on a 12. Any other number gets called the point, and the shooter keeps rolling. If a 7 is rolled before the next point, Don't Pass bets win. If the point is rolled before the next 7, Pass bets win. Field bets pay out if they match the point on the first throw. Stake is 10 chips. Place your bets!

How will we know it's the halfway mark?

Education in Agora takes only one day out of the year? What a great curriculum. I knew I liked this place for a reason other than just its ample supply of bacon.

Should be a little triangular flag that signals the halfway mark, at least for me when I ran around it. You may have missed it, in which case, turn around, run back, you've gone too far.

Would you like to sign up for a half-day nursing program? You can become a licensed nurse in less time than it takes you to build IKEA furniture AND you get free sneakers as your prize.

Is a nurse's license like a driver's license? Do the authorities show up and give you traffic tickets if you see too many patients per hour or if you start doing your nursing on a busy sidewalk?

Not, you understand, that I'm confessing that I would ever drive on a busy sidewalk.

Again, I mean. And anyway, it was be more like a swerve and a careen, rather than a drive.

I haven't seen a triangular flag marking the halfway point to my life, so obviously I haven't reached it yet. Woohoo!--I'm gonna live to be over two hundred!

We prefer driving on the sidewalk -much less traffic!

But driving on the sidewalk is noisier. Sometimes the pedestrians' screams drown out the tunes blasting from the eight-track.

[Tommy: Chorus]
I'm free, I'm free
And freedom tastes of reality
I'm free, I'm free
And I'm waiting for you to follow me

[Verse]
If I told you what it takes
To reach the highest high
You'd laugh and say nothing's that simple
But you've been told many times before
Messiahs pointed to the door
And no one had the guts to leave the temple!

[Chorus]
I'm free, I'm free
And freedom tastes of reality
I'm free, I'm free
And I'm waiting for you to follow me

[Outro]
How can we follow?
How can we follow?

Are you really free, or are you just one heck of a bargain? I'm wary of hidden fees and taxes.
