In the far past, before the birth of Christ, there ruled a king named Saul (absolutely no relation with Kappan), who represented the Israelites. He was amidst a war with ancient heretics peoples known as the Philistines, who worshipped Dagon (absolutely no relation to Elder Scrolls).
As the Israelites faced against the Philistines, one extremely large Philistine claimed he could defeat any individual within the Israelite army. Goliath was his name, he was 3 metres tall, and due to the implications of being almost 10 feet, it's miraculous he could even breathe considering how the square-cube law would render his bones useless. The chances of Goliath spontaneously suffering from cardiovascular system failure were greater than the chances of someone ever defeating the giant in battle.
ANYWAY, David's father, Jesse, ordered his son to bring "10 cheeses" to his brothers in the army. Due to lack of context, this could of been 10 shekels (114 grams) or 10 talents (342 kilograms). Now as David arrived with 342 kilograms of cheese into the Israelite camp, he overheard Goliath. "Choose a man and have him come down to me. If he is able to fight and kill me, we will become your subjects; but if I overcome him and kill him, you will become our subjects and serve us."
The Israelites murmured rumors of granted tax exemption if the giant were to be defeated in battle. This was enough to spark David's interest. David convinced Saul to allow him to fight Goliath, and they met on the midway of the battlefield. David flung a smooth stone with his sling, hitting Goliath in the head and killing him instantly. The use of a sling insinuates that this was permitted by the Philistines (they surrendered after), which means literally any soldier within the Israelite army probably could have defeated Goliath as long as they had a ranged weapon.
The moral of the story is that you should state ground rules before dueling someone to the death.

Yes, for a few days now.
In September 2019, I created a Minecraft Realms server for Minecraft Java Edition, for all of Lazarus to enjoy. The server runs as an unmodified Survival mode server, currently in Version 1.16.3.
The server is called LazWorld by Leonism.
The original map was replaced by me in October 2020, to enable everyone to try out the 1.16 update, which gives a major overhaul to the Nether, among other things. The old map is still cached and can be reinstated if so desired.
Rules
Only players of nations based in Lazarus may take part
No PVP unless specifically agreed between the participants (Warning: PVP is by default set to "on" in case you want to duel while I'm offline)
Absolutely no griefing (= destroying other people's structures)
You must send me (Leonism) a telegram or discord (Leonism#9218) message with your Minecraft user name for me to invite you to the server
My word is law on the server, as I pay for it (ingame Name: Ewok0rn)

For real. I just had an issue regarding sex education, and I chose the one that said that it should be the parents' responsibility to do it for their kids, and not the school. I was expecting maybe some civil rights increases, or at least some religiousness or social conservatism increases, but nope, my population just got fatter.
