It's a game moreso than a roleplay.

Other nations besides the one you primarily use.

Commands will still probably be relayed to the RMB, but it's a lot easier and more efficient to communicate with those actually in the server (also, I imagine some people would appreciate the server icon.)

Don't worry about it. It's a friend. I know them in real life and they have never played this game before. How they got that name, I have no idea.
