You don't really see such a quirky Spiderman nowadays. It sucks that he's leaving the MCU, honestly.

I blame both companies, tbh. Sony wanted to make more money and wasn't willing to back down. But Disney was also chasing after the money as well. In the end, both sides stood their ground and fractured the MCU a little. While Disney instigated it, both are at fault here.

Honestly though, with Sony possibly hiring people to scan videos for three seconds of copyrighted songs, is it any wonder that they aren't willing to back down on the money?

I have a feeling, it's possible....the only reason Disney wants Spderman is to create a TV series??,

But to rephrase, I am not against her being young. May give her a more better personality than an old-has been yet tough and kind aunt. :p

I kinda agree with Zuk in that both sides are at fault. Because Disney jumped from 5% to 50% with no middle offer, and Sony didn't even try to negotiate. However, I get the feeling that now, Disney is going to to do everything in their power to crush Sony Movie potential, and buy out the rights to everything Spiderman (Spiderman, Venom, Spider-Verse, etc.)

I'm fairly sure that MCU has current rights to Aunt May, I could however be wrong.

Disney is actually tossing around the idea of Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool TV show as one of three main ways to introduce Deadpool to the MCU. The other two ideas were his own "Official" MCU movie, or him being introduced in a Spiderman movie.

I'm hoping that in one of the television series, Villain Winter Soldier would make an appearance. Winter Soldier was way more badass as a villain. Also hoping that What If dives more into Hela. It would be really cool if there was a What If episode based on Hela killing Thor and Loki, and getting the hammer herself.
