The Borderlands of Bepsu Incorporated is a very large, efficient nation, notable for its keen interest in outer space, frequent executions, and spontaneously combusting cars. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic population of 424 million capitalists are effectively ruled by a group of massive corporations, who run for political office and provide their well-off citizens with world-class goods and services. Their poorer citizens, however, are mostly starving to death while being urged to go out and get real jobs. The populace has reasonably extensive civil rights, although these are mostly aimed at allowing them to buy whatever they like.

The minute, pro-business, outspoken government, or what there is of one, juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and Industry. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 5.1%.

The powerhouse capitalist economy, worth 37.0 trillion Corporate Tokens a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Gambling industry, with major contributions from Automobile Manufacturing, Pizza Delivery, and Arms Manufacturing. Average income is 87,218 Corporate Tokens, but there is a large disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 408,392 per year while the poor average 11,119, a ratio of 36.7 to 1.

Scientists have great chemistry with their subjects, police officers often conceal their identities to safeguard against public complaints, Scoutmasters debate whether luxury log cabins defeat the purpose of camping, and savvy students quote paywalled research knowing that university lecturers can't afford to check the citations. Crime is a problem, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Bepsu Incorporated's national animal is the Car, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Bepsu Incorporated is ranked 99,188th in the world and 1,097th in The East Pacific for Most Developed, scoring 61.65 on the Human Development Index.
