The King will get his demands; however, the size and scope of the ships to be built are vastly different from what was originally demanded. The King and the Parliamentarian came to a compromise to build a higher number of smaller vessels rather than building more heavy displacement ships, several of which are already being built. The scope of the project will be massive, but needed to update the coastal defense fleets.

->14 Norrkopping class fast attack craft/missile boats
->14 Hamina class fast attack craft/missile boats
->2 Viking class (IRL FREMM class) frigates
->2 Ostergotland class light destroyers
submersible vessels:
->20 Type 209/Type 1400 class diesel electric submarines

->10 Amsterdam class support and supply non-combat vessels
Additional Viking class frigates and Ostergotland class light destroyers could be ordered under current contract. The Norrkopping class and Hamina class fast attack craft, 28 total, will replace the Archangel class, 36 total, due to a diversified mission statement. Additional vessels of these classes maybe ordered if the navy deems it necessary. Building of smaller vessels will take six months (27 IRL days) while heavier displacement ships will take two years (108 IRL days). All four of the heavier displacement vessels will be built at the same time at the shipyards in Valparaiso, CH while the lighter displacement vessels will be built four at a time at the ship yard outside the capital. An additional four ships of the lighter displacement vessels will be built at the ship yards in Buenos Aires, ART.

King Francisco Santos II Har Et Nytt Slag!
Shortly after being released from hospital after his first stroke, the king suffered a second and much more damaging stroke. Princess Lluvia Santos I has denied all media access to the king and royal family but it’s expected the king willn’t survive. Duke Draugr Hamarson has stated that if his cousin fails to capture the royal throne, then he will fill the royal duties if his brother-in-law is felled. Nothing else has been provided to media at this time, more on this as it develops.

Work on Muskrat Falls Hydro-Electric Damn nearing completion
The lower Churchill River is one of the most attractive hydroelectric resources in North America and is a key component of the province’s energy resource portfolio. The project’s two sites at Muskrat Falls and Gull Island have a combined capacity of over 3,000 megawatts (MW).
With the completion of the Muskrat Falls Project, Newfoundland and Labrador will be a leader in clean energy. It is estimated that power from the project can displace three to four megatonnes of carbon dioxide annually from thermal generating facilities. This will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the carbon footprint throughout the Northeastern prvinces – equivalent to taking almost one million cars off the road for one year.
The Muskrat Falls Project includes construction of an 824 megawatt (MW) hydroelectric generating facility, over 1,000 miles of transmission lines across the province and associated electrical equipment. In addition, EmeraNL has constructed the Maritime Link between Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.

After a third and final stroke, King Francisco Santos II passed at 06.27 HRS local time after ruling the country for 34 years. Since the age of 39, King Francisco Santos II had lead the country into the future with steady leadership and a strong vision of a better UKABCP. As per request of his one child, Lluvia Santos I, the crown will pass to King Francisco Santos II’s brother-in-law, Duke Draugr Hamarson. The left leaning parties are worried due to his rumored sympathies towards the nation’s growing right flank parties, primarily worried that the decades of worker protection and unionization may come crashing down. King Francisco Santos II will lay in state for seven days before burial; however, the funeral itself will be a private event for family members only. Duke Draugr Hamarson is due to be coronated at the beginning of next month.
