KASNEVEZ PETITIONERS MEET ADMIRAL KLOAREG IN BID FOR BETTER SEA CONNECTIONS
The explicitly military purposes of this month’s Kasnevez visit from retired Vice Admiral Arzhur Y. Kloareg, Minister for Arms of the Free State of Brovora, were interrupted by a tireless group of local petitioners which managed to gain Minister Kloareg’s attention as he walked to a helicopter yesterday afternoon after his inspection of the Kasnevez Garrison Group. A deputation was permitted to formally meet with the Minister this morning. Though the powers of Minister Kloareg’s office lie entirely within military matters, his image as a representative of the central government was not lost on the petitioners, who have appeared virtually everywhere Kloareg has.
The chief demand of these dogged protestors, we are told by our social analysts, is the improvement of the civilian sea connections of the three islands of Kasnevez. As a blogger associated with the group stated two months ago, “medical appointments, schooling, deliveries, and the sale of fresh fish are routinely disrupted by irregular civilian sailings” between the isles. One symptom of the purported “neglect of the mainland” is this inconsistency, which could, the post continued, be alleviated by “publicly guaranteed inter-island packet boat services”. Signs and shouts confirming these goals were visible and audible yesterday afternoon.
Although no comment has yet been given by the Minister for the Interior or Minister-President, the approaching election season is expected to, as it does each year, sow government receptiveness to these demands. “I must wonder,” posted independent Kasnevez Assemblywoman Ivona Bizouarn, “why the state can maintain thousands of servicemen overseas while Kasnevez-islanders must continually petition for dependable passage.” Minister Kloareg gave a brief spoken statement to local newsmen after the conference in which he offered temporary naval carriage of urgent supplies between the cantred’s islands, a sign that the petitions have, at least, not fallen on deaf ears. He continues his tour of the islands later today with a wreath-laying at the gravesite of eighteenth-century sea captain Kolaz Fer, who commanded a Brovoran privateer.

Oldest man in Kasnevez passes away
103-year-old Meurzh an Eost, the oldest living man in the Cantred of Kasnevez, passed away on Thursday. Meurzh, a former airman decorated for gallantry, was a native of the mainland Cantred of Henlez, but had come to Kasnevez after his retirement from the Air Fleet in the 1960s, having been stationed on the islands for a time. Since then, he had distinguished himself as an avid fisherman and three-term chairman of the Kasnevez Flying Legion, the island’s second-largest veterans’ association. The Cantred College of Kasnevez had included Meurzh in a veterans’ storytelling project in the early 2000s, taping several interviews with him on the subject of mid-twentieth-century Kasnevez, the Free Brovoran Army of that time, and his family history. Minister Kloareg is expected to attend Meurzh’s funeral before the Minister’s departure from the Cantred later this week. Meurzh leaves no immediate relations.
Playhouse has new productions
The Kasnevez Theater will be staging a series of new productions throughout the coming weeks. In September and October, performances will be held of The July Sun, by the late playwright Aodrenig Eon, which tells of a tragic romance between two fishermen in the early nineteenth century; and The Tanner of Kersantuz, the classic Brovoran comedy, which recounts the antics of a local tanner who manages to evade his tax obligations. Imperial Parliament Approves Sweeping Pension Reform

Wansaishi — The Imperial Parliament has approved sweeping reforms to the Wansain pension system, raising the standard pension age from 65 to 70. The government says the reform is intended to strengthen the long-term sustainability of the pension system while reflecting increasing life expectancy and the changing age structure of the population. Citizens will remain able to leave the workforce before the standard pension age, although early retirement will result in reduced pension benefits under the revised system.
The legislation also introduces strict restrictions on political participation by pensioners. Citizens who have reached pension age or begun receiving an old-age pension will be prohibited from standing for elected office or holding elected or senior appointed positions at the imperial, prefectural, or municipal level. Pensioners will consequently be barred from serving in the Imperial Parliament, prefectural assemblies, municipal councils, Cabinet, or senior executive posts within government.
W-Rock Festival Returns to Pusaka

Pusaka — The annual W-Rock Festival (Ｗ岩音楽祭) has returned to the coastal city of Pusaka, bringing together prominent performers from across Imperial Wansai for three days of live rock music. The festival’s lineup spans several generations of Wansain musicians, ranging from traditional rock and hard rock to alternative, progressive, punk, and heavier styles. Organizers have expanded the festival grounds this year following strong attendance at previous events, with multiple stages operating throughout the weekend.
W-Rock has grown beyond a conventional music festival to become one of the country’s largest annual gatherings for contemporary music and popular culture. LAHTELA | The State Government of Hämälä has voted in favor of a bill outlawing advertisements for fossil-fuels and meat on public broadcasts and in public space. The bill, proposed by state senate Green Party leader Saga Virtanen, argues that the commercial consumption of fossil-fuel related products and meats are harmful to the global climate in general, and thusly to public health. Given that the government has the mandate to protect public health, a ban on advertising such products is only natural. The ban on advertising does not constitute a rise in excise duties or a ban on the availability of the product. "Just like tobacco and alcohol, fossil-fuel products and meat will remain largely available" commented Virtanen.
The movement to limit the daily exposure of Nordic people to high-carbon fossil-fuel products like airline flights, cruises, and internal combustion engines, as well as meat-based produce, has steadily been rising over the last decades following hightened awareness of global climate change. "Is it normal that we advertise the pollution of our earth and justify it as consumer habits? We can enjoy life and all its beauty just as much if we ditch the high-carbon emissions in our daily patterns. We can foster a climate of through innovation once we collectively realize that our patterns right now aren't natural, normal, or sustainable. Now, there's a real incentive to innovate responsibly."
Hämälä is the first constituent realm in Talvimaa where such a law targeting fossil fuels and meat ads has succesfully been passed. Similar laws are pending in Merelia, Varania, Scothia, and Estria. Not so much in Yatulia, where the centrist liberal party is presently governing. "We don't want to entertain a law like that in Yatulia" states State PM Kadi Raud. "We are making serious strides towards climate neutrality - and in Yatulia too, it is a priority. But the government is overstepping its authority when it wants to ban commercials for polluting industries. We are working tirelessly to green up these sectors, but we can't risk their immediate collapse by banning their means to get exposure. Innovation costs money - and these businesses generate that."

Third Guided Missile Cruiser Launched with Royal Attendance
Simurghabad – Her Highness Princess Soraya Khanum Zarrabi preceded over the launch of the ISNS Shapur Shah, the third of the eight planned Royal Class Guided Missile Cruisers of the Imperial Sitakhtari Navy. She represented her father, His majesty Shapur Shah, at the ceremony, the history of whose namesake and ancestor was celebrated by the launch of the vessel. Shapiro Shah was the third and most famous ruler of the Simurgid Dynasty that ruled lands in modern Yektashahr from 780 to 1050 ACE. In his reign from 825-857 ACE, Shapur Shah I became famed for his diplomatic skill in ending Gnaean rule alongside more militaristic Khavarshahri Shah's.
The ship that bears his name is the third of the Royal Class, and the strongest ship in the ISN upto now. A Guided Missile Cruiser*, she has a displacement of 8,100 tons, and carries a total of 72 VLS cells and canister launchers for a combination of anti ship, anti air and land attack missiles.
Her Highness, during the occasion, spoke of the monarch's inherent duty to support the navy, as the ultimate guardian of commerce and the Sitakhtari way of life. The princess, who is currently spending her second year in university at the National University of Simurghabad, has hinted that she may enlist in the navy at the completion of her university education. In a more amusing turn of events, Princess Soraya had openly laughed at a joke that had been spread within the navy recently, comparing the large mast of the cruisers, above the bridge, to her large forehead.

Can Sitakhtar have an Empress?
The question of whether Princess Soraya can succeed her father to the Yektashahri throne, becoming the first Queen Regnant proper in Sitakhtari history, has come up in Royalist and Feminist circles for years since her coming out into society following the Shah's divorce, in 2021. Since then she has been popular, though general consensus remains in favour of tradition.
Post Gnaean Sitakhtar has always maintained a tradition of male successors, though as a law Absolute Male Premogeniture was only accepted in 1760, in a law drafted in Nurshahr. SInce then it has been argued that the religious and historical basis on which the law is upheld is impractical, with the largest amendment made to the law being the limit on inheritance in 1851, limiting the system of succession to the monarch and his immediate family, consisting of his siblings. In such a case if a monarch has no male siblings and no male children, the eldest daughter would inherit the throne.
In Yektashahr, this means that according to law His Highness Prince Abbaz Mirza Zarrabi, younger brother of His Majesty Shapur Shah, stands to inherit the throne at his death or incapacitation. This situation, brought forward by signs of failing health in His majesty Shapur Shah, and his long absence from public, has not been debated by either himself or Princess Soraya, leading to its been accepted as the continuation of tradition. However, Prince Abbas himself has no male children, and succession at his passing may once again raise questions on the suitability of Princess Soraya to the throne.
Shapur Shah’s unverified illness, and absence from public affairs, looms over the Zarrabi family as the term of His Imperial Majesty Shahanshah Soleyman comes to an end in December 2026. Should His Majesty Shapur Shah suffer from ill health at the end of the year, he may be required to pass over the turn to His Majesty Theadore Shah, or abdicate in favour of a successor, raising the question again: should tradition be upheld, or should laws be changed to embrace a Shahbanu.

*A cruiser according to Sitakhtari naval terminology is a multipurpose vessel capable of carrying a sufficient armament of anti-surface and anti-air missiles, and also carry a fleet of at least four helicopters for anti-submarine purposes and to support the naval squadron she operates in. The Royal Class of cruisers, despite being designated as cruisers, can only operate a maximum of two helicopters and only under certain conditions. As such the new category of Guided Missile Cruiser is required.
Members of the Admiralty have protested over categorising the new vessels as cruisers, stating that they’re better referred to as destroyers, as they have similar capabilities to destroyers of other nations. According to some sceptics, the new category was only created to hide the higher cost of the Royal Class, compared to older classes. However, the Royal Class is more heavily armed in comparison to older destroyer classes, and has almost twice the missile armament of a traditional cruiser.

Wansain Universities Launch National Research Partnership

Wansaishi — Universities and research institutions across the Imperial Wansaishi Capital City Prefecture have launched a new national research partnership intended to strengthen cooperation between academia, industry, and government laboratories. Institutions in Wansaishi, Shorin, Tiesto and Tokio are among the first participants, with institutions in other cities waiting for results of the pilot program before whether they decide to join. The research programs focusing on semiconductors, robotics, artificial intelligence, advanced material sciences, green energy storage, and industrial automation.
The partnership will establish shared research programs, expanded laboratory facilities, and greater opportunities for university researchers to work directly with Wansain manufacturers and technology companies. Officials said the initiative is intended to reduce duplication between institutions while accelerating the movement of new technologies from university laboratories into commercial production. Participating universities are also expected to expand engineering and scientific programs as demand for highly trained workers continues to grow in the Wansai economy.
Wansain Professional Football Season Begins

Shorin — The new professional football season has begun across Imperial Wansai, with clubs in several of the country’s largest cities welcoming supporters back to stadiums. Opening-week matches in Shorin, Kansō, Tōsŏn, and Wansaishi drew strong crowds, with established clubs beginning their campaigns alongside younger teams seeking to establish themselves among the country’s leading professional sides. Tensei and Chotchi are considered dark horses this year with their offseason additions while league champions Tokio FC (東京フットボールクラブ) remains a strong contender to repeat.
The new season will place greater emphasis on their youth development league, with professional clubs expanding academy programs and regional scouting networks. The Imperial Wansain Football Association (IWFA) said the growth of professional football has created an increasingly structured pathway from school and regional competitions into the professional game, while clubs continue to develop their own local identities and rivalries. Many secondary schools already have football clubs, but organizing the football clubs as “professional feeder teams” gives young footballers more to strive for.

I have notified His Majesty The King that the Prime Minister recommends The Rt. Rev. Dr. Paul Burgher be appointed and confirmed as Lord Archbishop of Londinium and Primate of the Established Protestant Church of 
Anglandium. His Majesty The King was graciously pleased to approve the said appointment.
I have passed on His Majesty's Commands to the High Chancellor (The Rt. Hon. Mark Pembroke MP) to prepare a Great Seal of the Realm to be affixed to the Letters Patent, which are to be produced in due course by the Crown Office in the House of Peers in Parliament. As soon as His Majesty signs the Letters Patent, the appointment takes effect.
For the avoidance of doubt: I have informed His Majesty of the irregular nature of the recommendation as outlined in your earlier letter. The King feels no need to intervene in the Prime Minister's decision not to follow the established practice at this moment in time, since The King would then directly go against the advice given to him by the Prime Minister which would itself go against precedent and could have severe constitutional repercussions.
A copy of this letter has been forwarded to The Very Rev. Elizabeth Hamilton, Dean of the Colle of Canons at Londinium Cathedral, so that the College can properly prepare itself to receive their new Diocesan Archbishop and Primate, and simultaneously be informed about the procedural characteristics of this appointment. After the necessary preparations are complete, I believe it falls to the College of Canons to announce the identity of their new primate to the general public.

Ryūkō Port Begins Major Modernization Program

Ryūkō — Construction has begun on a modernization program at Ryūkō, one of Imperial Wansai’s principal commercial ports. The project will expand container-handling capacity, upgrade cargo rail connections, and introduce new automated systems intended to improve the movement of goods between the port, surrounding industrial districts, and Wansai’s national transportation network. The project is projected to take between three and five years, with cost projections to be IW¥300B (~USD$1.9B).
Port authorities said the project will also include expanded ship-repair facilities, upgraded customs infrastructure, and improvements to energy and communications systems serving the harbor. The modernization is expected to support Wansai’s growing manufacturing and export industries while strengthening Ryūkō’s position as a major gateway for international trade. Work will be carried out in stages to allow existing port operations to continue throughout construction.
Shorin Hosts Annual Autumn Heritage Festival

Shorin — Thousands of visitors have gathered in Shorin for the city’s annual Autumn Heritage Festival, a celebration of traditional Wansain arts, food, music, and craftsmanship. Historic districts throughout the city have hosted performances, markets, exhibitions, and demonstrations by artisans working in woodworking, ceramics, textiles, lacquerware, and traditional food preparation. The festival is expected to bring in tens of millions of Imperial Wen into the local economy during the week.
The festival will also feature performances by local musicians and traditional ensembles, alongside tea ceremonies, garden exhibitions, religious observances, and evening lantern displays. Organizers said the event is intended to connect younger generations with traditional cultural practices while supporting local craftsmen and businesses. The festival will continue throughout the week, with additional events scheduled across Shorin’s historic districts.

Women's protest
Today, on the streets of Straßberg many women can be seen protesting, with signs such as "Frauenstreik" or "Women's strike". Protest are held because women of Ciselthania want equal payments as men.In Aichen march was led by 40.000 people and in capital 70.000 where on the streets. By research of Ciselthanian economy and human rights it is concluded that average Ciselthanian woman has 20 per cent less economical income than men.
"Equality has not been achieved,and that is good reason to keep protesting. We will protest until we achieve our goal of equality", said Ruth Dreyfuss,former president of women's rights commission "We are not cheap working machines, we are same as men, we can do the same as them, we can work as hard as them. Our country should be ashamed to have this problem, we are all born equal and we should be equally payed for our efforts",said one of the protestors.President Ueli Maurer said to press the following; We are aware of the problem women of our country are experiencing. But we also have to say that lower payments of women aren't made by law, they where not and never will be planned. We will try with all our efforts to make man and woman equal in our society. The Chacellor was also asked about these strikes; "This is a joke, women have been alway equal in Ciselthania, all of this is one big nonsense. Those women you see on streets are bunch of angry feminists, that want to make Ciselthanian's picture of the world dirty in the others countries eyes."
Vice president of the commission Simonetta Sommaruga supports women on the streets, and says she will join herself in the march. The reichstag will have meeting on 3rd of August, the main issue will be equal pay.

Aggresive Naval Patrols (Covert )
A Ciselthanian warship made an increasingly bold approach to the neighbouring territorial waters of 
Sitakhtar, sailing right along the maritime boarder of before proceeding to return to a normal distance. Similar actions were simultaneously taken near 
Montgovia, where a navy destroyer actually came within view of the coast. Several international cargo vessels, were tailed by various naval vessels while passing through . The government said the actions were part of standard patrol protocols. These alarming maneuvers were followed up by training exercises carried out by the air force, navy, and marines, which simulated assaults on small islands in the Hermann Sea ( the water body surrounded by Ciselthania) .The naval board would accept esteemed experts from Anglandium and Sitakhtar, as in the previous post
The Aircraft Carrier Graf von Richthofen has reportedly left it's basing for sea trials, officials state, The vessel is part of a revitalisation program started by the Ciselthanian MoD with interests in increasing the Ciselthanian navies blue water capabilities. It is expected to be able to carry 68 aircraft in total, including helicopters and AWACs aircaft. The Graf von Richthofen has been touted for service in Northern fleet, with rumours the Hindenburg carrier may be redeployed to the Southern fleet, though currently there are no official statements. The Ciselthanian MoD have two more aircraft carrier models, including the Shtorm supercarrier, which are due for completion in the next few years. Personnel are already being extensively trained to crew the vessel, with training centres already operation in Gotthafen . Recruits have supposedly been drawn from top classes at the Naval Academy.
CL-01 is a stealth light battle tank built by OLRUM and DAE Systems and is based on the( Swedish CV90120-T light tankirl). The CL-01 was a mere concept and military fantasy until 2025, when OLRUM begun mass producing the tank to enter service in the reservs . 200 of these tanks will be going into service throughout this week. Minister of National Defense stated that the introduction of the CL-01 is Ciselthanian's step to further cement it's position as becoming one of the largest militaries in Khosoran

National Liberal Movment indroduces new Property Rights Bill
Member of the National Liberal Movment, MP Claudia Diekwisch, has introduced a new bill entitled "An Act to Reconginze Data as a Property Right". The National Liberal Movment lead by Chancellor ran on a number of issues regarding the protection of every citizens Privacy and Private Property. Then, candidate expanded on this policy by stateing he aimed to include Data as a Ciselthanian Citizens Property/Privacy right. This policy ended up being wildy popular among Conservative/Liberal leaning citizens.The National Liberal Movment, now moving forward on this platform issue, aims to ensure that Data Collected on Ciselthanian Citizens from the use of their phones and computers is recongized as a form of "Private Property". Under the proposed bill Citizens of the Ciselthania would have the right to;
Be informed as to what data will be collected, and how it will be used
The right to opt out of data collection or sharing.
The right to be told if a website has data on you, and what that data is
The right to be forgotten; to have all data related to you deleted upon request
The right to be informed if ownership of your data changes hands
The right to be informed of any data breaches including your information in a timely manner
The right to download all data in a standardized format to port to another platform
The Bill, having only been introduced in a late sitting of the Reichstag yesterday, July 22, has garned a substantial ammount of bipartisan support from various members of the oppostion parties, "An Act to Reconginze Data as a Property Right" now has supporters from not only the National Liberals but from the Ciselthanian Labour Union, Peoples Progress Party, and Democratic Change.MP Lisa Neubert, of the Labour Union has stated; "I believe this bill a tremendous victory for the worker and the citizen against multinational tech corporations, and perhaps the best piece of legeslation the Chancellors party has introduced since taking Office. I'm hopful other members of the Labour Union will see it the same way, and come to support the bill"The Bill has after indorduction been moved to second reading by the Governing Coalition, it is expected the debate surrpunding the issue is set to begin duing that reading. Second reading of "An Act to Reconginze Data as a Property Right" is schedualed for the end of July.

The royal Hapsburg collection exhibition
Thousands of art enthusiasts, history buffs, and media personnel gather in the Musée royal d'art antique in Klingenthal as the descendants of the erstwhile royal family launches the 10th Royal Collection Exhibition which will feature many of the monarchy's most prized treasures and works of art including the complete collection of the famous Ciselthanian Royal Regalia. For this year's exhibition, the organizers had chosen the theme of Femininity and Discreetness which polarized last year's theme of Warfare and Dominance, exhibiting a large collection of weapons that Hapsburgs monarchs kept as a prize from their battles. With Femininity and Discreetness, the organizers prepared to exhibit the ordinary life of royal women, including women in the royal household, to the public where historians involved in the committee unanimously agree that it's discreet. From human-scale dioramas of scenes of a queen's daily errands to interactive demonstration of how a princess prepares for the day, they [the organizers] hope that the people will understand more that women back then share the same daily experiences like men, the committee has chosen six museums around the city where each will exhibit a specific aspect of the main theme. The Coach Museum will exhibit the transports of royal women; the Museum of Allenstein will exhibit the paintings of Hapsburg queens and princesses as well as other obras; the Military Museum will exhibit the weapons and armor of the so-called warrior women such as Catherine I "the Warrior Queen"; the Theatre and Dance Museum will exhibit the famous forms of entertainment for royal women; and the Royal Palaces of Holstein will exhibit various items of elegance. The Crown Regalias will be on display in the Palace of Klescheim. Entrance fee is at a fixed 2 Marks and will go to the royal trust fund.
